The place was good and comfortable. The only thing we didn't appreciate it was the staff from the restaurant. We had an incidents where we went to eat to the restaurant inside the lodge. We paid in cash and they "forgot" to give us our change. When we asked, they were sarcastic about the amount of change. Even if it's 2 Quetazales, they have to be respectful and honest. After that incident, it seems that they were not happy to see us again the restaurant. But second time, we just gave them the exact amount. That really was the downside of the place.

Great bungalows , felt clean . The bungalows had a great fielding fan to keep the flow going for the hot summer nights . The pool was great after long days of hiking and the location you can’t beat to enter the park

Great location if you are visiting Tikal. The only downside is that most of the rooms do not have AC and the mosquito netting blocks the breeze from the ceiling fan. Because there is no AC, you get the pleasure of hearing the sounds of the jungle all night long and the howler monkeys are very active. Light sleepers may want to bring along some ear plugs.

The benifits of staying here was you were in the actually park so it was very convenient however we ate at their restaurant and got food poisoning and were horribly sick for 2 days. We had booked a tour and paid for their transportation to get us there the morning we got sick and could not make the trip and had asked due to the circumstances after eating dinner at their restaurant could they refund the trip charge but they would not refund anything. There is no wifi or signal unless you're at the lodge so we could not reach out from our room when we were sick and couldn't leave our room. For the price you pay for this stay it's not worth it. We would not come back. Our recommend it to anyone. Worth more to stay at a nicer place in flores and take shuttle in to park.
