The rooms where not bad and it was very cheap to stay. The staff was nice. The BAD.The pool was locked the hole time. And the patio was a wreck none of the appliances worked fire pit, BBq pit ext. It was very noisy most people that were staying there where living there. It has a lot of late night traffic people fight and a lot of slamming doors. I would not stay again.

The pictures really isn’t the same as in person , No breakfast was served when it clearly said Free Breakfast in the morning , Windows in the room were not insulated well and didn’t close properly, it allowed to much highway noise from the cars passing by and it was really hard to sleep The back door was wipe open all night and felt unsafe that people just walked in unexpectedly and nobody in the front cared to close it

advertised incorrectly- Breakfast was not provided. Had to change our next day vacation plan due to this inconvenience. Very first reason i booked this hotel was for breakfast. With kids, it is very difficult to manage additional things in our vacation plan. It was additional expenditure for us. No drinking water in the entire facility 24hrs complimentary coffee is just for namesake. It was old coffee in a flask always lying there 2-3 cops were there in our floor all the time. Was really worrisome. Check in process was horrible. Had to go 3 times up and down from 3rd floor to get room access issue resolved. Eventually had to move entire family and bags to second floor because of hotel issues

Entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, and the elevator does not work.

The stay was horrible. Conditions deplorable! No room services, room not cleaned accept one day, bed and linens never changed, elevator not working. Complained to the front desk multiple times. Front desk phone not working. Marijuanna smell on the floor. Looks like people are living there. Dogs in rooms barking just despicable

Elevator was not working and i had to switch from 2nd floor room with 2 beds to a 1st room with 1 bed, where i could constantly here people getting in and out of cars. They need to make customers aware before we arrive so we can make better arrangements.

This is the room we selected. There were 6 of us. When we arrived they did not have this room. They do NOT have this room at all. They will want you to email them a copy of your drivers license. Which I refused to do. They knocked on our door saying they did not put us in the room we were in. (How did we get a key to the room if that was the case?) We were harassed all the way to the pool and the front desk lady would not leave us alone. She stood over us at the pool then because I refused to email my DL closed the pool on us early. Her kids were in the hot tub unattended not allowing hotel guest to get in. Actually made my 18 year old get out of it because her kids were in it. No ice buckets for ice. Found hair stuck to the sink under used soap.

To start off the front desk staff are extremely rude & unprofessional, probably the most unprofessional front desk staff I have ever experienced at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at.. upon checking in we had just came off a long cruise, therefore had a decent amount of luggage.. the luggage trolly had all 4 flat tires and was extremely difficult to push, the next thing is the entire 2nd floor reeked of cigarette smoke, once we got into our room & got situated i realized our window doesn’t lock so I attempted to call the front desk where I found out our room phone does not work, they came up and just drilled the window shut, they said they would move us to a new room if they couldn’t fix the window, since they drilled the window shut they considered that being fixed. I pre paid for my hotel, when I arrived at the property they needed a credit card for the damage deposit. They charged me for the damage deposit twice and also charged my credit card for the entire stay again, I had 3 charges on my card from the property which the manager did refund me after I brought it up to them. Also the water pressure is horrendous, I needed to use a face cloth to get the soap off my body as the water had 0 pressure. Management said it was due to utilities maintenance that had taken place and they never came back to fix the issue

Great stay. The staff was very helpful. They have a pool which is a plus.

The room was not very clean, and we were unable to get the room cleaned because staff doesn’t work on weekends. I asked for fresh towels and linens, and they never came. The ac unit was blowing air that smelled horrible.

My room had a musty smell like it had been shut up for an extended period of time. Some of the furnishings had a layer of dust on them.

The rooms smelled like smoke and some rooms smelled moldy. They don't do room service everyday so you need to take your dirty towels to them for them to exchange your towels. Also there was a lot of hair on the clean towels. Won't be staying here again.

The rooms were very clean. The beds were really comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

Candlewood Suites – Stafford (11230 Southwest Fwy, Houston, TX) Stay: Friday noon – Monday morning (3 nights) • No Housekeeping: Not once during my entire stay did housekeeping service my room. Trash piled up and towels went unchanged. I had to repeatedly go to the front desk to ask for clean towels, which is unacceptable for a multi-night stay. By Sunday night the trash can was overflowing, and since no one came, I requested assistance. The manager guy handed me a trash bag and expected me to replace it myself. (Yes, really.) I ended up placing the full garbage bag outside my door to avoid attracting bugs – and it’s a good thing, because I had already spotted roaches in my room earlier. • Dirty Bedding at Check-In: On arrival, I discovered a stained comforter on the bed. I reported it immediately. Management/front desk lady’s response was baffling: she acknowledged the stain but actually asked if I “still wanted to keep it” on the bed. Of course I didn’t! When I pulled back the sheets, I found small food crumbs inside the blanket, meaning the bedding hadn’t been properly cleaned. By the end of this stay, I felt more stressed than relaxed. Basic amenities (like a clean room, fresh towels, working TV, & trash removal were nonexistent.

There was a towel on the shower door that was used (had lipstick) when we first arrived, the refrigerator top was full of dust, and the bed smelled like bad cologne. After these observations we could not trust that anything was clean. We will never return to this hotel.

The garbage was full when I checked into the room. There was a strange smell. And there were small bugs crawling around on the floor. The shampoo holder was falling apart. The fridge was wobbly. The hotel could be decent with some improvements.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The only reason we stayed here was that other hotels in the area were fully booked for the night, leaving us with no other option. Upon arrival, we were taken to a room that had a strong smell of mildew and, to our dismay, roaches in the corner. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking hotel, the entire establishment reeked of smoke and marijuana, making it hard to feel comfortable. Additionally, the rooms appeared not to have been cleaned properly after the previous guests. We found a used towel in the restroom, which is simply unacceptable. Overall, my stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness issues and unpleasant odors. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The room smell if mold or wetness. There was hair in multiple ares of the bathroom, including in the towels. When we went to tell the worker. He didn’t even want to give us his name.

Very clean and smells great. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend this place.

Full sized kitchens and comfortable bed

When we got there our chair was broken, we told them immediately but couldn’t be fixed till next day. Overall good experience

Good for the price. The only reason I did not grade higher was because there was no hot water in kitchen sink, frying pan made all food stick, no blow dryer in the room, no ironing board, only one set of towels, had to request for more. Lesson learned to bring certain items, but I would stay there again.

Kitchen in the room was nice and the restroom had been remodeled as well. However.... The room floor was uneven in some areas, the door handle for the bathroom fell off, the chair in the room was old and broken, the carpet where the AC unit sits was soaked due to the condensation, not a real breakfast which was an upset because thats why we booked it and should list it as a continental breakfast. Would not stay here again.

Rooms are big and clean and the wifi worked great. The only thing they need is better service in front desk. They don't smile at all and not that very helpful. But everything else was good 👍

The stay was overall enjoyable. Everything was provided for the kitchen. Did not have to worry about disturbances. Very spacious rooms and bathroom.

My stay was good but after leaving I found out I was charged twice for my room. Once by Candle Suites and once by hotel.com, very disappointing.

Terrible Company Policies. They overbooked and blamed Expedia for the issue. We had booked and paid for 5 double bed rooms. Upon arrival, one was dropped and 2 had been downgraded to single bed. The Staff did what they could but were limited due to the "computer system".

Get there to check in at 10pm and was told that they see my reservation by they do not have any rooms. The response we got was “sorry not our problem”! At the last minute we had to try and find another hotel available that night and at that time in the evening. I’d give a 0 if it was an option

INCREDIBLE quality for a great price, love the hospitality from the staff as well. I will definitely stay here again!

The receptionists are very hospitable. I like the place that It was close by every places that we need to go.

I can get back on beltway 8 no problem. Price is great for a brand new room. 25 minute commute to my job.

I enjoyed the full size kitchen. Walmart is right around the corner.

I loved loved loved booking here the room was great and it had a mini kitchen and plenty of pans if you needed them it was close to interstate but you couldn’t hear any of the cars it was not far from the places we wanted to go so believe me when I say I definitely will be booking here again‼️ and the 2 nights we stayed didn’t cost that much at all it was definitely a steal

The front desk lady helped change my room from a king suite with a recliner chair to a full double bed suite with no extra charge which was nice. The overall stay was okay but room service did not come to our room not once to take our trash, give us clean towels or any of the sorts. The breakfast consisted of pastries, oatmeal, coffee, and a waffle maker so nothing fantastic. There was a $50 deposit that I didn’t know about. Maybe it was my fault for not doing my research but I was not aware. I didn’t complain about it since yes you will get that deposit money back to your card eventually but I was taken back on spending more money towards the room. The room was kind of laid out weird the tv was in a hard to see corner of the room, the ac was right next to the bed which did not allow the air to circulate at all. You could only feel it next to my bed which was a little annoying throughout the night I would wake up cloggy. The lighting in the room was also terrible, it was orange dim lighting. The only white lighting was in the bathroom. Overall the stay was okay but little things added up to make it a little annoying.
