We stayed here last weekend and the hotel is very nice. On the picture on the website it shows that there are lounge chairs and tables with umbrella, which is truly not accurate. The water feature on the pool was not on which took away from the ambience. The pool is very nice. It just needs to have someone out there to turn on the equipment and ensure it is running and working properly. Aside from all that I would definitely stay here again. I just hope they fix these items to make my stay a little more pleasant and comfortable, especially with the lounge chairs.

The rooms were nice. Pool was clear and clean. Gym works fine. Lobby and entry really nice. My one and only complaint is the breakfast. Management should be embarrassed that they are charging people $21 for a breakfast that you get at a budget hotel for free. Not even worth half the price. Would be 5 stars except that issue.

Pool wasn't clean, waterfall wasn't running. Bar closed at 10 pm every night so my friends couldn't get something when they got in. Sam's restaurant staff were very nice but front desk employees were not friendly.

Great hotel for the price point compared to others in the area. The staff were helpful and accommodated my request for a late checkout at noon. There was a security officer stationed in the parking area that checked incoming visitors and watched over the vehicles, which provided some peace of mind as well.

Upon arriving there was a mix up with my reservation, they had a new girl training a new girl who accidentally booked someone else under my reservation. Took about 15 min to fix but all was well. As we got settled in we found a tick in our room and the more we looked the worse it got. The room was infested with bugs. We were switched rooms but the room we received was a little outdated compared to the one we were in. The pool is super small and dirty. There were all kinds of bugs and even roaches everywhere! It was super uncomfortable to swim in. On top of all of that, the hot tub was broken and the there was no towels. The pictures online lie! The hotel isn’t as nice as it seems. I have had better experiences at motels 6’s. Smh.

Very few staff around. Sam’s restaurant was good. There is an airport shuttle, however, you need to call the hotel to request it, I found this out from another hotel shuttle driver, and there is no room service.

The room was extremely comfortable. My only dislike was in the pictures of the hotel. The swimming pool had a waterfall and Jacuzzi the waterfall did not work nor did the Jacuzzi other than that. It was a beautiful property. The staff was great thank you Maria.

It was a quick overnight stay and thank god for that. Hot water didn’t work in bathroom, carpets are FILTHY throughout the hotel. I found a keychain in my bed which would indicate the sheets were not changed. The door to my room didn’t close all the way. It was only $68 so I guess you get what you pay for. Never again…

Disappointing. Clerk was hard to find for check in, room was dirty in certain areas, the shampoo and conditioner were empty, and there was black mold growing on the shower ceiling.

Facility was in poor condition. The hotel was clean but extremely dated with warn carpet and large cracks in the atrium walls and Roma with similar aging. For this price point I would recommend staying with a different property.

And if you're thinking about dining at the hotel, prepare for disappointment. The restaurant operates on strange hours, the staff is shockingly rude and unaccommodating, and the menu options are severely lacking. Let's not forget about the outdated rooms that smells like wet dogs. Next time we find ourselves stranded in Houston due to weather, I'd rather sleep at the airport.

This place could use an upgrade. The curtains had small holes so light came in walking us up in the morning. The tv was old and has no streaming options. We bought a Roku thinking we could use that but there was no way to change the input. We didn’t spend much time in the room, so it was okay. It was cheap and we slept well.

Hotel very clean. Beds too small. No blankets provided in closet. Ceiling in bathtub needed repairs. Worst of all was the jet plane sound of the air conditioner turning on and off every ten to 15 min. Terrible !! Would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. Men hotel clerks needed a refresher course on hospitality. Bar tenders were very attentive and nice. I did enjoy my beers comfortably. Rooms were cleaned very well. Front desk needs to be remodeled and made people friendly ! Air conditioner played a big part in me never staying there again.

Can't say anything about the stay - by the time the airport shuttle was 1 1/2 hours late and the hotel stopped answering their phones I caught a cab to another hotel. I will be suing Sonesta, Hotels com and Expedia over this mess - first time I have been treated this incredibly badly - and someone is going to pay!!!!!

Long wait for check in. After waiting long finally got a room just to go all the way up with all of my stuff to the room being occupied. Got a different room with no working tv remote and Waited over an hour for a remote to be brought to my room. Staff was friendly but the waiting periods were ridiculous.

My key wouldn't work to room, and i had to get key card redone twice. House keeping didn't clean room, and when i called for clean towels nobody showed up so i had to go to front desk again. An event was going on at the hotel, and there was no reserved parking for hotel guests.

The room next to us sounded like they were having a party all night til 4-5am in there and when i called to make a report to the staff multiple times. Staff said they would send security but nothing ever happened they still partied all night. My wife, 2 year old got little to no sleep that night and felt like it was a waste of money to even stay when our needs weren’t being met by the staff.

Took too long to be picked up from the airport I called a hour before I arrived I called when I arrived and it took me calling every 15 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive after a hour of waiting. Then the front desk usually take about 3-5 minutes to check me in this time it took 20 minutes and it was the hardest bed I slept on there

Nice upkeep BUT I had to pay for an Uber because they didn’t answer my CALLS (more than an hour; a NUMBER of times) requesting their advertised free shuttle. AND, I almost didn’t get a room because the hotel changed ownership (Sonoma is the new owner) and it seemed they weren’t going to honor paid for reservations. I had to wait more than an hour for the verdict on my fate. I got to the hotel about 12:30 am ( started calling the shuttle a few hours before that; about 10:40 pm) but didn’t get a room until about 2:00 am!! How do I go about being reimbursed for my Uber charges???

Overall, this hotel is okay. I only stayed there a few hours for a long layover while I visited Houston for the first time. I got a room to basically nap and shower. I found the airport to hotel shuttle very inconvenient, however. When I called the hotel days before my stay to arrange a shuttle pickup I was told that I needed to wait until I arrived and was outside the airport to then call to arrange the shuttle to pick me up. This is absurd and definitely it good customer service. Why would until they arrive at the airport to arrange a shuttle ride to their hotel?? That makes the client wait unnecessarily long. Then I tried to arrange a 5:15pm shuttle ride back to the airport later that day and was told that wasn’t possible as the shuttle leaves every hour. I was baffled. So I asked the receptionist why did she make me wait until I arrived at the airport and exited the airport to arrange a pickup of the shuttle leaves from the hotel every hour. I said if it the shuttle leaves the hotel every hour to head to the airport then there was no need for me to wait until I arrived to arrange a pickup. She said that’s how it works. Very bizarre and not centered on the customer.

I been in line for over 30 minutes to check in. Got here about 1130pm and there were 30 people checking in with one employee working the check in. By the looks of it, it will take over and hour to check in

Near the airport. Room was fine, bed was fine. staff was polite. Free parking. No lunch service. Walking distance to nothing. Hot tub was hot. Bottom line it’s fine for a day or two.

This area is not safe at all. The traffic light right next to the hotel a homeless man stood in front of our car and refused to move. It was late at night and we turned into the hotel and they have security at the parking lot which made me feel a little better I was hopeful maybe my car won't be stolen overnight. Even with the security in the parking lot there were questionable people hanging out outside the front doors. Thank goodness we were only here for 12 hours to sleep before our flight the next day. NEVER AGAIN

I read some of the previous reviews and was a little concerned, however, I think that they exaggerated. I think security was amazing and I felt totally safe. It is on the edge of a declining area, but we are talking about most areas that are affordable.

Did not like area that hotel was in. Rough neighborhood Bad hotel layout. And we got put in the worst possible room. Because of layout couldnt open window blinds. They faced the center court yard, with a walkway right out our window. Room was close to the elevator, the ding was heard loudly all night. The staff was not friendly, or helpful. No one was at the desk when i tried to check in, had to wait for her to take her time to come back. Every day (i stayed 4 nights) the key cards had to be reset. They wouldnt work until reset at front desk. Bugs in the bathroom. Main gate was not open, so had to take the side entrance to drive up to the front. Just another added inconvenience. (Because the security had to watch the neighborhood, which is nice because for security of the patrons, but caused inconvenience not being able to drive straight in) The restaurant and breakfast wasnt as expected. Was not able to use the facilities. Overall not super happy with the facility. Was 10-15 minutes from airport.

Overall stay was good! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit older and can use some upgrades in some areas but overall clean. It’s very close to the highway which is convenient when you wanna go places. However, if you’re a light sleeper that can be a problem because you can hear car noises during early morning hours (4-8 am). Ear plugs helped. You can ask for the 1st floor which is below the streets and bridges (highways) level that might help. One thing that I love the most is the 24-hour security personnel at the entrance and parking area. Houston is rough and that helped put my fear that our car will be broken into at ease.

I called for the airport shuttle and my calls were ring no answer. It is $30 by taxi ride (including tip) should you need to know. Breakfast was not worth the $21. Staff at the front desk was not very hospitable. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff was very nice as well as the buffet staff which gives it 2 stars otherwise it would be 1. I will not be staying here again if I should I need a hotel close to the IAH.

The photos are misleading on how old this property is. It looks like it was taken over by the Sonesta but not upgraded in any way. My drapes had stains, shower had hair on the walls, garbage was next to the garbage bin (obviously had been missed by the cleaners). There was coffee and teas but no coffee maker. The restaurant/bar didn’t have anything for dinner so I had to walk to Popeyes. Disappointing given the photos showed a more respectable spot.

Not the best customer service. Also, for an airport hotel, the shuttle only makes a loop once per hour and just sits there for the rest of the time doing nothing. I found that odd. Otherwise clean rooms and a big breakfast buffet for 20 bucks.

Eeverything was great, except that the hotel restaurant, Sam's, was so dirty. NONE of the tables had been wiped down, even after we watched people leave tables. The food and service was really great though!!
