Naala seem new and mixes modern and contemporary with a local flare with lots of wood. The hotel is really nice with an awesome rooftop restaurant and pool; these are great places to unwind in the evenings. It's next to convenience stores and walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms are comfortable with cloud soft mattresses. The two bedroom was well appointed with all furniture and appliances. Great location. Bikes available (at a rental cost) for a quick ride. It's a bit of a distance to the beach and other attractions but there's a lovely Selecto Chedrauri couple blocks down.

It was a nice hotel. The cons are wish the water is warm when taking a shower it was cold water, one of the rooms the bed sheets has stains, and the pool is nice it just needs to be painted you can see the paint is coming off. The people in the front desk weren’t as welcoming:(

We stayed one night at Naala Tulum. The gardens and lobby area are beautiful, and the room was nice and comfortable. Service was excellent and attentive throughout our stay. However, the little pool area needs an urgent revamp—the sofas are old and outdated, and the pool paint is cracked. For some reason, food and drinks cannot be charged to the room, which is inconvenient. The rooftop restaurant's food was mediocre compared to other options in Tulum. Overall, the hotel feels overrated and pricey given the competition in the area.

Nice place, roof top and rooms. However, Limited selection of drinks and no available food during the day. This was low season and there are few guests but basic drinks such as more than two type of beers and some available snacks would make it better. Good value for money overall.

Su ubicación es muy buena, la atencion de la recepcionista fue excelente (no recuerdo bien su nombre) la habitación muy limpia y con lo necesario para estar cómodo. El servicio de spa muy bueno, Alejandro el terapeuta muy bueno. No tiene una cabina como tal de spa, es al.aire libre en el rooftop, pero esta bien.. Los contras: Si padeces de dolor lumbar o espalda, los colchones son sjmamente suaves asi que es un poco dificl eatar comodo. La comida del restaurante no es buena, no tiene sabor y no hay mucha variedad, pero para botanear algo si a caso, pues si esta pasable. Las bebidas tampoco son su fierte. Estan muy insipidas y la piñacolada sabia a tetrapak. Y aunque estes hospedado.se te cobra el parking 200 pesos cosa que no lo vi bien, pero pues la ventaja es que tu auto queda seguro en el parking subterráneo del hotel. En general lo recomiendo ai vienes 1 o 2 noches ya que puedes salir a comer beber al centro o aqui a su alrededor hay mucha opcion de comida bebida.

Room tidy and very clean with a fridge, hotel is on one the main avenue and still very quiet, we were ln the ground floor. Roof top is very nice with 2 pools, 1 bar which happen to be the breakfast area. The breakfast was ok. We would have appreciated

Amazing apartment with separate lounge/kitchen. Great bedrooms and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. The pool area/restaurant is stunning.

I will stick to the basics . Upon arrival greeted at the front desk by Christopher he was terific . He filled us in on everything we had to know .Parking for a small fee under the building was convienent . The Two roof top pools were outstanding . The rooftop restaurant clean and tasty . If you plan on eating breakfast daily at hotel prepay for a better price .The area was quiet and safe . 7 / 11 down the block and many more chain stores plus locally owned nearby . Room clean daily to our satisfaction . Overall the Naala Talum lived up to our expectations . PS our AC worked well .

I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness and location. Centrally located to either beach Tulum or street shopping Tulum. Bike rentals or ATV rentals are accessible. We did both. Downfall is no ice unless you go up to the restaurant at top fllor and no early morning coffee provided until 8:00am when they serve breakfast. Room was super clean and bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom sink smells really bad since it's incorrectly installed missing a siphon / p-trap. Not sure if that is only our room 103. The breakfast was very good and with a decent variety of food. Granola, yoghurt, pancakes, cooked to order egg dishes, juice, coffee etc

The location is great and i love the spacious room. The hotel has lots of potential however it needs some improvement. I stayed 6 nights and my room was only cleaned once but the sheets were never changed, the second time I asked them to clean our room they said that we left our safe opened so they couldn’t clean it but we were never notified until I called asking why our room wasn’t cleaned. I told them we needed clean towels, toilet paper, bed sheets. He said he was going to send someone to bring them to me but I would have to change the bedsheets myself. Well, only the towels came(their towels are very old and dont look very clean btw), bed sheets and toilet paper never came. Also they don’t have enough pool towels for all guests so you either take them as soon as they get them in the morning or you won’t get them at all. I heard a lot of people complaining about that at the front desk too. At check out they tried to charge me a bunch of items from the minibar which I hadn’t even touched, claiming the housekeeper had to refil them items the day she never came to clean the room!! I refused to pay of course! There were so many people at the front desk complaining about different things at that moment that they just let go of those fake charges.

The place and staff are great. It is really quiet and has a great vibe. The location is fairly close to Zona Hotelera and they have free parking or bikes you can rent. The only issue we had was that towels and bed sheets were always stained and the sewage from the toilet smelled so we has to keep the toilet seat down to lower smell. Regardless, I would still come back and enjoy the place.

Un hotel bonito y bien diseñado, con una preciosa piscina en el piso superior. Personal amable y que te deja tu espacio. En el lado malo: faltaban opciones de luces en la habitación, era la del techo o nada (no había luces de cabecera de cama), y la comida dejaba bastante que desear en cuanto a la calidad de los productos (ha sido a única vez que nos han dado guacamole de bote en México). La limpieza también podía haber sido un poco más profunda.

It was a good place to stay, very clean

The atmosphere was very warm and inviting with a lobby area with lots of comfortable seating in a bohemian jungle style. The rooms were clean and had that similar natural bohemian style.

TLDR; Exciting concept, poor implementation, horrible service The concept: a courtyard with its own minijungle surrounded by the actual hotel. All rooms face the courtyard. The breakfast restaurant, the bar and the pool is on the rooftop, overlooking the nearby actual forest. All in brutalistic concrete. Exciting! But the room smelled of mold, when A/C wasn't cranked up.  The outdoor area was basically flat concrete, with strewn-out sunbeds, apart from the pool area which on the other hand is cramped. The bar served beer only. The breakfast buffet was half-full of items, at all times. We ended up buying breakfast in the nearby supermarket and eating in our room.  AC cranked up. And all that could have still have been ok - if the there had just been beds that worked We were two parents and one tall 17-year old. We travel a lot, always booking double-beds. Which at this hotel meant queen-size beds - and the smallest version of them. Couldn't fit two adults (except for perhaps those first two rosy-eyed weeks of an affair.) We asked front desk for an extra bed, a pull-out couch, or even just a mattress to put on the floor. Didn't exist. Pushed again. We could get a bigger room the next day. But next day: no, room wasn't cleaned. Or wait, management had said no. The answer wavered. I ended up slerping three nights on the floor. (Next hotel, on Cozumel, no problem getting an extra bed. "Of course, señor, we understand if the beds are too small.")

This property was beautiful. It was a little jungle oasis. The rooftop pool and bar was very nice and had a good chill vibes. My only issue with the property was that that the air conditioning in the room didnt work very well so my sleep was not great due to being hot. the staff was very helpful with all our questions telling us places to go around town and helping us a find a nice beach club.

Terrible mattress. No hot water two mornings and nights. Very load location and getting to the beaches is near impossible without a 50.00 cab ride. Would not go back.

El hotel en general es muy burno pero el colchón de nuestra habitación estuvo muy feo, pésima la firmeza del colchón. El resto del hotel está muy bien, la atención buena pero no van a dormir bien. Si no les importa la calidad de sueño el hotel es perfecto pero si aprecian dormir bien busquen otra propiedad

Great hotel and ok location but unfortunately very easy to hear tv from one room to another so a lot of noise from this and difficult to sleep also expensive simple breakfast

Positif : Personnel sympathique et chambres spacieuses, l'emplacement est aussi bien et à proximité de super marches et restaurants. Négatif : On a été dérangé la deuxième nuit par une boite de nuit en face. On a dû changer de chambre en pleine nuit. La deuxième chambre aussi était bruyante (local technique au sous-sol) Petit déjeuner correcte.

Great location, just outside of the main busy areas of the rest of Tulum but close enough to either walk or better yet bike around. Clean, modern and basic room, the sheets and bed were a dream to sleep in. Roof top pool was a beautiful place to take in the sunrise and sunset, or take a refreshing dip after being in the warmth of the sun. Lots of great restaurants around and access to the rest of the town. Loved being able to rent a bike just from the lobby. Tulum is an excellent place to visit, this hotel was a great base to explore the area.

the staff were wonderful. they had fantastic price forward excursion suggestions. very nice and helpful. location was very central to shops and good food

I had a great time at Naala. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. I had the pleasure to meet Yssabelle. She was helpful solving all little problems I had during my stay. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Would definitely go back in the future. Christopher was an amazing manager at the property and he went above and beyond for service for us. Only bad thing was I love hot water and there it wasn’t working. Luke warm water was the only option. Being the price, location, service, amenities offered. Rooftop pool, breakfast and more. Truly this place is a steal. Very close to everything and accessible. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Överlag ett fint hotell, modernt och fräscht. Dock var det ointresserad personal i receptionen. Behöver bli mer serviceminded! Hälsa när man kommer och vara intresserad av en.

Todo el personal fue muy amable y atento, algo que realmente se valora. La ubicación es muy conveniente, cerca de muchos restaurantes y opciones para salir. El hotel es muy bonito, con una temática que refleja perfectamente el estilo relajado y natural de Tulum. Durante nuestra estadía hubo algo de ruido por la noche, posiblemente por reparaciones, pero en general no fue algo que afectara significativamente la experiencia. Sin duda, lo recomendaría.

Not on the beach, economical, near stores and restaurants. Taxi near. Just stayed one nice but liked ambiance, breeze was good, so was food and beverage for $35. Nice.

What a great experience. Naala is exactly what it advertises itself as - a 3.5 star hotel with some blemishes but an eagerness to succeed. When we go back to Tulum we will stay at Naala again! The hotel is tucked back off the road. The outdoor lobby is quite welcoming but does show some wear but the front desk service was professional. The courtyard was so relaxing - while you can hear the music from the rooftop, the hammocks and waterfalls make it a perfect place to chill before or after your day. We splurged on the "family apartment" as it was not that much more than a single room and gave us a huge amount of space. The patios and balconies are a little light on furniture, so glad for the courtyard. Room was clean, beds were wickedly comfortable and showers were strong. We felt safe. There are some good restaurants within 100 yards and downtown is only a 20-minute walk but the best meals we had on our trip were at the Naala rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced as well. Salmon was perfect. Breakfast farmers omelet (I got well done) was fantastic. Smoothie was nice - they use ice and agave nectar (order accordingly). Order a drink from the restaurant and bring it to the rooftop pool - plenty of seating. The best part of the roof is the unobstructed view (think sunrise and sunset). You can see the Tulum heritage site and the ocean from the roof. As the hotel does not supply extra water, we were very happy to find an Oxxo and a 7-eleven only steps away

Property is beautiful and great location

The hotel was OK. Disappointingly it was not really in walking distance from the beach, the Tulum ruins, or a wide variety of eating establishments. The scale of Tulum is deceptive on a map and as such it requires overpriced taxis or occasional ‘collectivos’ to go pretty much everywhere. The listed drive times noted on the site are not correct. Our room facilities were clean and fine but with mattresses that felt like sleeping on a giant pillow. The rooftop has a pool and a casual restaurant, but our second-floor room just looked out on a semi-abandoned building between the hotel and the street. The strip of alternative Tulum beachside hotels are pricey and private, though you can see gloriously beautiful beaches when you do manage to find decent beach access. But don’t expect to feel like you are really in Mexico while in Tulum.

Had an incredible stay and was about to give 5 stars until the checkout process. Was accused for taking toiletries and items from the room when all of them were in order. Hotel restaurant was expensive for coffee and breakfast. One day was charged for unlimited coffee so assumed the same on our last day there, to find out we were charged over 300 pesos for 4 coffees. Make sure you check with staff on a daily basis what the price is for the food and drink before you order to avoid this as no menu was provided.

Très déçue par cet hôtel. À notre arrivée, le personnel nous a indiqué qu’il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude. Ils nous ont donc proposé d’annuler sans frais ou bien de faire avec. Réserver un autre hôtel à la dernière minute ne nous a pas enchanté nous avons donc accepté de rester. Nous avons demandé un remboursement partiel, ce n’était apparemment pas possible car paiement en ligne. Nous avons donc demandé le petit dej offert. Ça été accepté. Quelle fut pas notre surprise quand nous sommes arrivés pour le petit déjeuner. Il n’y avait quasi rien dans le petit déjeuner (uniquement granola confiture miel mais sans pain ni chocolat chaud ni jus d’orange) nous avons donc opté pour des plats à la carte (pan cakes et toast avocat) Le remboursement du petit déjeuner nous a été refusé car nous avions pris à la carte. Mais un petit déjeuner sans à minima du pain ce n’est pas un petit déjeuner. Outre cet incident, les lits étaient inconfortables car matelas très mous. Par ailleurs, nous avions demandé un service de laundry (à régler en extra). Il était convenu que le linge soit prêt sous 24h. Mais 24h plus tard, rien, nous avons du attendre le lendemain matin. L’eau en bouteille est par ailleurs payante alors que dans tous nos autres hôtels au Mexique, c’était inclus dans le prix de la chambre. Bref, nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel.

Apparemment spacieux et agréable pour 5. Jolies piscine en rootftop. Très sympa. En juillet très peu de monde. Plage avec des sargasses. Cenotes dans les environs. Pas du tout proche de la mer. Parking souterrain. Seul bémol, le petit-déjeuner inclus, très basic. Pain toast uniquement est sec, très peu de choix pour les enfants. Boissons sensées être inclus mais il faut payer pour avoir de l’eau plate. Il ferait mieux de le facturer un peu plus cher et qu’il soit un peu plus friendly. Nous avons fait que 2 nuits et heureusement. Pour le reste c’était une jolie découverte.

Es buen hotel, cómodo. El desayuno que ofrecen para el costo es malo.
