First, there is a $100 refundable deposit. I looked everywhere prior to our stay and couldn’t find an amount but I was prepared to pay one. The front desk staff was super kind and courteous. The room was clean, quiet, large, and comfortable. There was a comfy recliner, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and there was a list of channels for the tv. A few people have mentioned black hairs. I also found three black hairs. One on the shower wall, one on the toilet lid, and one on the comforter on the bed. However, my theory is the cleaning staff has dark hair. Maybe wearing a hair net would prevent guests finding random hairs. The room was clean. I wasn’t stressed about a couple random hairs. But some people are. The kitchen was nice and would be super handy if I was staying more than one night. I will totally stay there again if I ever need to on one of my Portland visits. The price was great for the room. I have paid so much more for far less. There is a little convenience store in the lobby for those things you forget. Parking is convenient and free. I could barely hear any freeway traffic, but the hotel is convenient to the highway. All in all, I was pleased with my stay.

I stumbled across this hotel after extensive searching of the Northern Portland area -- especially around the overpriced airport area. This is probably the best value I've ever found in a hotel. For a very moderately price, you get a room in BRAND NEW condition, with full size fridge, cooktop, two queen beds, extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is also very friendly and informative. Free coffee in the lobby. Also a small assortment of food and toiletries for purchase in the lobby. Very, very impressive for the money. The only negatives that I found were that the parking places were plentiful, but TOO SMALL. Not sure about the width, but only a tiny car can fit in each space with any level of certainty that somebody next to you isn't going to ding your car with their door when they try to squeeze out of their spot. The parking lot was plenty big, so restripe it with 2-foot larger spaces. Also, the desk clerk couldn't break a $20 dollar bill so I could leave a tip for the maid. Other than that, this is a super great value for the money. Also, I should add, the area looked and felt very safe. My wife and I had an excellent 3-night stay, and got great sleep. Thank you, My Place.

There is NOT an Ice machine at the hotel. To get ice, you get it from the freezer in the room. Staff didn't tell me when I checked in that I needed to turn on the ice machine. I wanted to pack stuff in my cooler on ice when I left and looked for an ice machine. When I asked the front desk they said to use the ice machine in the freezer in my room, but there was no ice because I didn't know I needed to turn it on when I checked in.

We chose this hotel for its location near the airport. The hotel was decently clean with comfortable beds. However, there are almost zero amenities. No ice, breakfast, pool or hot tub. There wasn’t even shampoo and conditioner. For the money, I felt I should’ve chosen a different hotel with more amenities. They do have a full size fridge, freezer and a small range if you happen to have your own pans.

The property is clean, quiet, well-maintained and feels safe. Staff are personable. I gave the hotel 3/5 stars due to the following facility issues. 1/ If you’re booking this hotel for the kitchenette, stay somewhere else. - Kitchenette: You’ll get a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, but that’s it. The room‘s kitchen does not come stocked. THERE ARE NO PLATES, BOWLS, CUPS/MUGS, UTENSILS, CUTLERY, CUTTING BOARDS, POTS, PANS, PLASTIC CONTAINERS, MEASURING CUPS OR SPOONS. There was a toaster and Dishwashing liquid, but NO SPONGE. I specifically chose this hotel because of the kitchenette. Because there are absolutely no supplies, cooking was impossible. I could’ve saved half the money I spent on a hotel If I’d had known the kitchenette was useless. 2/ Laundry room: Cash only. Hotel reception can brake change/give quarters. There is no digital way to pay for the washer and dryer. I had to drive to the service station a couple blocks away to get cash to do laundry.

Hotel is pet friendly and has laundromat. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, free parking, friendly staff. The location is also good, plenty of restaurants near by. We have been staying at the Medford and Portland hotels every time we visit Oregon.

There was hair and stuff on the bedsheets and it seemed that the bedsheets were not really washed. There was some hair on the floor as well. The staff seemed kind of overworked. There was a weird smell in the bathroom too. The suites come with a full size fridge and a stove. There was a tv guide which was nice. The laundry room requires 2.5$ worth of quarters for each machine and if you need quarters the front desk will give them to you for cash only. The area around the property was quiet and seemed to be safe.

The room was spotless. Very spacious, comfortable bed, full size frig, big computer style desk, plenty of bright ceiling lighting, nice kitchenette, helpful staff and great manager. Wish there was more food options/maybe hot breakfast offered. But I will stay here again.

Area isn't the best, but not the worst. Can hear the planes from the airport and seemed like a lot of car racing or loud cars so can not sleep with the window open at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was updated and modern. Kitchen has literally no dishes or utensils or anything. Not sure why have a kitchen if there isn't even a spoon to use. Bed was adequately comfortable.

I really enjoy staying here. One thing I wish would change, prob the only thing I wish would change, is that the room doors had a soft close. All the doors slam behind when you go in or out of your hotel room so you can hear slamming doors all night. Other than that, this place is great!! Would stay there many more times

Everything was good about our stay except the mattress. It was extremely firm- it hurt both our backs. We’ve stayed here 3 other times and don’t remember the mattresses being so firm. Other than that it met our needs. Would love the option for a king sized bed.-just a suggestion

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I had a confirmed booking, but when I arrived, I was shocked to find out they had overbooked and had no rooms available for me. What’s worse, they never bothered to call or message to inform me in advance. We were left scrambling to find new accommodation at the last minute, which was incredibly stressful and completely unacceptable. This level of unprofessionalism is not something I would expect from any hotel. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

Chelsea was amazing. While I was panicking because I forgot my wallet, she calmly handled my reservation changes. As for the room, it was thoroughly cleaned with the exception of one small towel hanging from the shower curtain - an easy miss. We’ll definitely be back.

The lobby had me questioning how nice the rooms would be but very pleasantly surprised! Everything was clean and new. Felt very safe as well. Only weird thing was someone trying to enter our room and showing me she was told our room was hers.

Very clean—everything seemed pretty brand new. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space in the basic room and that it included a kitchenette with a full size fridge! I was visiting a friend in Portland and for the same price in the more central Portland area—my options were outdoor style motels that looked dingy and dirty. Well worth the drive a bit to the outskirts for the safe, clean and quiet space!

Nice property near Portland without the hassle and congestion of being in the city. Easy access to the Interstate and major roads. No issues finding parking during our stay with the free lot out front. Friendly desk staff and an overall pleasant stay.

It was ok. Bed was comfortable and it was clean so that's my main concern. The location was convenient for where we were going but it was an industrial area and the cheap hotel next door was home to some transient people and feral children. No frills.. breakfast was brought the night before and was a microwavable burrito and a sad piece of fruit. The price was right and the people were super nice. For future users they were building a starbucks in the same parking lot so that will be great.

The hotel and the room were really spacious and kept nicely clean. The bed was not super comfortable, but honestly, that is pretty typical for the price. The staff at the front desk was not unfriendly, but I did not really get a warm vibe either—I do not even remember seeing her smile. Still, it was not a big deal for me. The location is fantastic and really easy to get to, which was a big plus. Overall, I would happily stay here again!

We liked the location, since it was out of downtown Portland and near the airport. Besides that, it was clean and the staff were nice. One thing to note is that the kitchenettes don’t have any pots, pans, or utensils, since they are for purchase in the lobby

Having kitchen in the room is nice but no kitchen supplies provided, you have to bring your own stuff or buy it at the lobby. Ice maker in the fridge is convenient but they don’t provide water fountain which I think is necessary.

What an excellent find! If you are looking for an inexpensive, clean and nearly new hotel near the Portland airport, this is the place. It's no frills but very nice for the price. We've paid way more for way less many places. Everything was like new and very comfortable. The kitchen is a bonus, although beware, you must bring your own utensils, dishes, etc. A full size refrigerator, microwave, cook top, toaster, sink and a one cup coffee maker are available. Free coffee in the lobby and a variety of easy to cook meals, snacks and drinks available for sale. It's close to I-84, but still quiet enough. Restaurants in the area, but we chose to stay in and cook for ourselves.

Everything was wonderful, but there was a few thing I wish was a little better. The bed was to firm for me, the hot water did not last long. The breakfast they offer is a joke a frozen breakfast burritos or frozen breafast sandwich and a bottle of juice milk or pop or cereal for 7.49. MCdonalds is right up the road where you can get a hot grease ball breakfast for that. I wish they had a breafast bar in the morning like most hotels

Roomy, clean and updated room. Must order breakfast early if you want it delivered to your room. There is no breakfast station in the lobby.The room had microwave , full-size fridge but no dishes, glasses, mugs or utensils.

It is a nice place to stay at, close to the airport, city, stores, food, and much more. Parking is super convenient. The beds are comfortable, room is spacious, and I like that there’s a stove offered if anyone wants to cook. There is a lack of food offered (breakfast), though there are some drinks offered like hot water / coffee machine and others. There are some food, silverware and cooking utensils offered at the lobby for purchase. I did find an ant in the bathroom floor crawling. Besides that, bathroom is nice. Overall, it was a nice stay. I would stay here again. Thanks!
