Comfort Inn & Suites Louisville Airport Fair & Expo

My stay at Comfort Inn was satisfying. We stayed just for 2 night 3 days and had a good experience with our hotel stay. The room 1 king size bed was clean and modernized including a microwave and mini refrigerator. The regular desk 2chairs table. There was a closet with hangers and shelves. The bathroom was nice size plenty of room to move around. They have a parking lot you will be able to see the Hotel from the street. At the timebI was there construction on the Hotel was going on so only 1 entrance was available. If your looking for a comfortable spot not to expensive clean and friendly then I would recommend any Comfort Inn. Oh they also have the complimentary breakfast. Sinc this is a small hotel please note space is limted in lobby and parking. My only this to think about next time is the location of the Hotel which this one sits on a main street just a sidewalk between hotel and street so you will hear traffic but at night of course traffic was quiter. Also please note the staff at the front desk was most polite and friendly . The price for the 2 nights around #377.00 which is not bad. You will be able to spend your money on your events ans have a nice place to sleep. I waa onnthe first floor and surprisingly not much noise was heard outiade the room And despite the street traffic i would pick another room and stay there again !

Everything was great except the elevator smelled really strongly like marijuana when we arrived at the hotel later in the night. Also doing construction to front entrance.

Overall stay was fair at best. Hotel has limited parking. Hallway had a funny smell although it improved the second day. There was no door tag for my room so had to deal with housekeeping knocking both days of my stay. Breakfast was very limited. Second day was worse out of everything. Wouldn’t stay here again. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

The staff at check in were very nice and helpful. The property is a bit dated and the fitness center needs some newer equipment. The breakfast had good options and was stocked up nicely.

Parking spaces were small. Not very accommodating for pickup trucks and larger SUV's. But overall...excellent place to stay.

Friendly staff. Poor entry conditions due to construction and debris. Room interior doors did not close properly, Room smelled musty.

Brightly lit parking lot and easy access to entrance. Eateries is short driving distance. Greeted at check-in and it was an easy process.

Unacceptable linens. The bed linens were not only dirty, they were clearly not laundered for weeks. They were dingy grey, beige. They were wrinkled as if they had been slept on for weeks, I found hair on them and every pillow case ( from both beds) had makeup on them. When I complained he brought up same condition linens, 1 even had blood stains, but he assured me they were clean. They were not! He then brought up new or clean quality sheets. The condition of linens was unacceptable for any standard.

The shower had, what looked like pubic hair, on the walls and mucus on the shower curtain. The water continued to flow through the facet, minimizing the spray from the shower head. Beds and pillows were comfy enough. Towels were clean. Works stay again.

Was under construction during our stay, rooms were dirty, and the free breakfast was unclean and reheated from the previous day.

Overall very good. Staff were all very nice. Beds were comfy. Cons- upholstered chair in room had gross staining. There was a coffee or tea filter left in coffee maker ( this was never cleaned during my 5 night stay). Had to look through bath towels to find ones that werent stained

Air conditioner didnt work correctly.

It’s an average small hotel located directly adjacent to a busy road. The road noise was annoying. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV channels were extremely limited and very outdated.

Parking sucked, air conditioning sounded like it was gonna blow up any minute lol, faucet didn’t work, pillows were the size of couch throw pillows. But….. for the price it was good. You get what you pay for.

The lighting in the bathroom is too dim. It is hard to see to put on makeup. The room lighting is also too dim.

Room was spacious ,light and clean. Nice decor. Big, well lit bathroom. Friendly staff.

Beds were comfortable, room clean and breakfast offerings fine. All good for the price and 15 minute walk to University of Louisville football stadium and 5 minute short drive to Churchill Downs.

Room was “worn” and needs updating. Breakfast was boring and same every day. Check in was not smooth and they locked us out of about room before our check out time.

Impressed with renovation of room and functionality of bathroom and air control. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and pleasantly surprised.

Close to road and AC was noisy

We were located on the 3rd floor and could feel (and hear) every time a large vehicle passed outside. The bathroom door would pop open on its own as it wouldn’t latch. Property was clean and staff were friendly, but noise from the outside was very loud

We stayed for a cheer competition. The sweet staff opened breakfast early so the girls could eat breakfast before their competition. We’ve stayed here twice and had a wonderful experience both times!

Was a difficult check in, was paid in full & then turned me away

I booked the room for 2 people to stay in it. My wife and son. They drove separate, my wife being the first to arrive. When my son arrives, he was stopped by the front desk. They refuse to let him go past the front desk and threaten to have him arrested if he tries. My wife's phone was broken at the time so he was unable to call her. I called the front desk and even then they refused to let him go to her room. He didn't argue or act aggressive in any way. Instead he walked out to his car and slept in the parking lot.

Staff/Owner is not honest. They try to charge your credit card without your permission/approval after you have left the hotel.

Bath and hand washing Sinks are not flushing properly. The there is a car noise from the road and the male receptionist wasn’t good enough to explain why he tried to charge me more than a double when I tried to extend my stay in their hotel,But luckily I did it online.

Washing hands/face sink and the toilet sink were not flushing properly,Mainly the hand washing sink,the water stayed there for a while and goes down slowly. I tried to extend my stay on the reception and there was this guy on the night shift who tried to charge me $170 +$100 per room so dropped the idea and did it online for just $97.77 us dollars. Why did he tried to charge me more than a double is my question???

Good value, friendly staff

We went to Churchill Downs and it was only a mile walk or a 5 min drive so very convenient. The only bad thing was we were in between 2 adjoining rooms and the elevator. Needless to say you could here everything that people were talking about.

Location was great and easily accessible to restaurants and attractions.

Convenient for attending tournament at the Expo. Hotel was clean, breakfast had everything one needs.

The inside was clean for sure. But on a busy street. And homeless people around. But close to the fair grounds

It’s right on the highway loud traffic noise, not what I was expecting for the money I paid

Airplanes noise taking off or landing starts at 2:30 am. At 5-10 min intervals until 6:00 am. Big rig trucks passing the building shake the entire structure making the headboard vibrate.

Comfort Inn was easy to get to. Close proximity to the Fairgrounds gates and safe enough to walk. The breakfast options were great, the room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the AC unit was quiet.

This hotel was perfectly nice, with free breakfast, a clean room, and extremely comfortable pillows. We were going to a festival at the expo center and were able to easily walk to and from the venue in a few minutes and save big on parking expenses which was fantastic!

The inside of the property was nice and recently renovated. The outside could still use some work. The free breakfast was terrible, crappy, scrambled eggs, and uncooked cooked potatoes, stale biscuits and very few options.

Terrible fitness center and breakfast.

Not your typical Comfort Inn. Not really as good as other facilities. No pool. Breakfast was limited on Monday, fewer guests on property. Thursday breakfast expanded when property had more guests. Staff was cordial. Lobby was bright, hallways were gray, carpet was dark, giviving a first impression that the property was dirty.

Comfort Inn was easy to get to. Close proximity to the Fairgrounds gates and safe enough to walk. The breakfast options were great, the room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the AC unit was quiet.

We enjoyed our weekend! The staff was friendly, The breakfast was very good, (biscuit And gravy, potato’s, eggs, sausage, waffles cereal and fruit) and the beds were super comfortable. We hated to leave.

This place appears to be an old Ramada Inn that was remodeled recently. The remodel job was done well and made for a nice stay. With most everything being new there’s not much to complain about. The only negatives I would say was the apple juice was watered down, the coffee machine was weird to operate and there wasn’t any condiments for the eggs. Like ketchup or hot sauce.

The coffee was awful! BUT the property was clean and accommodating!
