Staff were very helpful at this hotel. Comfortable room, modern and lots of natural light. There is a rooftop bar and they offer breakfast, however we did not opt in for breakfast. Location is great, right next to metro service and a spar shop. Not quite in the centre so much quieter, but doesn’t take long to get to the centre by metro. Across the road there is a food hall and cinema. Would recommend!

I enjoyed my stay. Met the basic needs. Gym was basic, but fine for a couple of days, breakfast was good enough, staff was very helpful. Hotel can be a bit hard to find. You have to go up the escalator. It is 15-20 minutes from the city center, but that is why it is much less expensive. Great that the metro is right outside. Nice that it is kind of like an apartment and has a small kitchen. I would stay again.

Location is convenient to transit. Hotel has nice amenities and staff was friendly. Could improve maintenance and cost for self service laundry was expensive (€5 for washer, €4 for dryer).

Comfortable location few steps away from the metro station, short ride to the city centre. Clean, comfortable rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic wheelchair accessible rooms, spacious bathroom with roll-in shower. Nice top floor bar/breakfast area and roof top terrace however no wheelchair access to the roof top terrace. Reliable airport taxi service bookable via the reception.

Great new hotel at a reasonable price in a very convenient area. Finding the parking was a bit of a chore but otherwise great room.

I like that they have a roof top place to look out. Convenient walk to mall, U1, they have a great laundry room.

The room was very nice and modern, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the awful smell in the bathroom, which I suspect was coming from the shower drain. It improved slightly after a couple of showers, but it still needs to be checked and thoroughly cleaned.

Wie immer, Sauber und gute Mitarbeiter. Diese Zimmer sind den Preis wert. Gut geeignet für Busines- Reisen. Wenn ich in Wien bin, dann in diesem Hotel.

Très bien situé. Dommage que le ménage ne soit pas fait plus régulièrement. Trop de poussières et odeur de canalisation dans notre chambre. Le personnel est très,a l'écoute . Superbe terasse sur le toit...

Hotel em sim bom, estação de trem ao lado, o que estranhei foi a falta de limpeza nos quartos, cobravam 35 Euros por dia para limpar o quarto.

Εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα, μοντέρνο, σχεδόν καινούργιο, με πλήρη εξοπλισμό κουζίνας, απέναντι από το σταθμό του μετρό που σε πάει κατευθείαν στο κέντρο της πόλης σε 15 λεπτά. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι πως επειδή θεωρείται appartment δεν έχει καθημερινή υπηρεσία καθαριότητας δωματίου. Για ότι χρειαστεί συνεννοείσαι με την ρεσεψιόν.

Las habitaciones son grandes y como nuevas, igual el baño, cómodo y una ducha excelente, recomiendo el hotel completamente, excelente. El centro histórico de Viena queda a 10 min en metro y la estación es saliendo del hotel.

Great in all respects, however aircon only goes down to 20 degrees so found it a little warm for sleeping.

Very nice hotel, very clean and very well located, just across the subway however the hotel is like soundproof, you can’t hear any noise. The room was very clean and very functional with a little kitchen area. Below the hotel was a good Asian restaurant and beside a Spar grocery store. I recommend this hotel without any doubt and I would go back there at anytime. One of the best quality/price.

There are a few restaurants nearby and the hotel offers breakfast, but the apartments contain kitchenettes and there is a Spar (small supermarket) on the ground floor so you can easily fix your own food. You can also get an evening drink at the bar on the top floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, which was useful when I needed a cab to go to the airport at 4:30 AM. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. One note: the hotel entrance is on the second floor of a large modern building. It took me a minute to find the entrance (up an escalator) when I first arrived.

The air conditioning did not work. I especially paid more for a property that has air-conditioning in it, but the AC did not work when we told the staff they said they cannot do anything and that they cannot accommodate us in another room. Also, the washing machine in the unit did not work, and the staff was also unhelpful with that. Overall, while the property is excellent and very clean, the staff could have done way better to help us with the air conditioning situation, especially when it was a hot day.

The WiFi connection in my room didn’t work. Apart from that it is a new and decent hotel.

Spotless, huge space, lovely staff!

While the location of this hotel is fantastic—with a supermarket downstairs and the metro across the street—and the rooms are comfortable with great beds, our experience was let down by significant service issues. The front desk staff (2 ladies) were highly unprofessional during check-in. They were loudly gossiping and making fun of another guest, which was uncomfortable to witness. This behavior also caused a long delay, as they ignored us to continue their conversation while asking for our documents. A heads-up: the hotel conducted a surprise emergency alarm test with no prior warning. It would be easy to provide a notice to prevent guests from being startled and to understand what to do, specially for those who don't speak German.

مها يكون مستوى نظافه الفندق وجميع مايتميز فيه لكن عند مستوى الامان لابد من الوقوف هنا تم الدخول لغرفتنا دون اذن منا ولم يتم ابلاغنا بذلك بالصدفه وجدنا بعض القطع سقطت من احد الاشخاص الذين دخلو الغرفه بالرغم من وضع علامات عدم الدخول وتم ابلاغ الاستقبال وتم رفع ايميل للمدير لكن لا يوجد اي تجاوب علامه تعجب على الي حصل وسوء اداري في احتواء الموضوع اتمنى منكم الحذر

My wife and I travel extensively for work and pleasure, so we've stayed in many hotels around the world. But Citadines Danube Vienna truly stands out. During our week-long stay, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. This hotel offers everything you could ask for: it's new, clean, quiet, and conveniently located near everything you need in Vienna. Public transportation is right outside the door, and there's a wide variety of restaurants just across the street at Westfield, one of Europe's largest shopping centers. What truly impressed us, however, was the exceptional staff. They were the friendliest, most supportive, and most accommodating hotel reception team we've ever encountered. We want to extend a special thanks to Wojciech, Julie, Juan, Paola, and their manager, Soledad. You all made our stay in Vienna enjoyable and memorable. Thank you so much

Top Hotel mit außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal

Overall good experience. We had a flood in our unit. They changed our room and gave us breakfast. Our cloths were contaminated and we missed half of the day and half of our tour, because had to pack our luggages and move to another room. It was a little bit unfortunate!

The air conditioning did not work. I especially paid more for a property that has air-conditioning in it, but the AC did not work when we told the staff they said they cannot do anything and that they cannot accommodate us in another room. Also, the washing machine in the unit did not work, and the staff was also unhelpful with that. Overall, while the property is excellent and very clean, the staff could have done way better to help us with the air conditioning situation, especially when it was a hot day.

The hotel is located right across a big mall, so yes, a lot of shopping opportunity. The hotel is also on the subway line that takes you into downtown within 10 minutes.

This property is just 1yr old, its clean and modern, and comfortable. Beneath the hotel is a Spar shop, and opposite is the U train Line 1. Westfield shopping center is about 3mins walk. Its 8 stops on the U train to Central Vienna. All very good

Unmittelbar an der U-Bahn-Station gelegen -> somit gut als Ausgangspunkt für eine Wien-Besichtigung geeignet. Ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Spar-Markt) sind gleich nebenan, ansonsten bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung keine touristischen Highlights.

My family and I were one of the first guests of this newly open hotel (mid December 2023). We booked 2 rooms: wheelchair accessible and double. I know Vienna well so after seeing the photos of the rooms I didn't hesitate to book away from the centre. Communication in the city in general is excellent, and this hotel is particularly conveniently located across the road from the U1 tube(metro) line (station Kagran). There is a major shopping centre behind the tube station with wide choice of restaurants and a cinema. Small Spar grocery shop is available on the ground floor of the building. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, various utensils including collander and bottle opener, in one word just like home. I will book again. Back in December reception, and consequently check in, was only available until midnight. After midnight check in fee applies. Something to improve in my opinion is the visibility of the building after dark. After arriving around 11pm, we really struggled locating the hotel. Next door Basena hotel is very easy to spot, Citadines on the other hand only had it's logo written on the boards with no ligh on at night. Also the fact that hotel reception is located on the first floor and escalator you should take completely covers the light coming from the hotel, makes it quite invisible. Lift for wheelchair access is not easy to find even during the day. Hope that improves in the future.

Ideally located just minutes from Kagran metro station, the property offered convenience, with a nearby Spar supermarket just downstairs—perfect for essentials, though it closed at 8pm. The room featured a modern design, complete with streaming facilities on the TV for convenient entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped with good functionality. Staff were generally helpful and gave advice on the upcoming bank holidays and store closures.

This hotel is very well located, very close to the metro and tram station, you can get downtown Vienna in less than 20 min. Also right across a huge shopping mall. There is a grocery store underneath the hotel. The hotel is quite new and the bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend it !

Gute Lage, ruhiges Hotel. Frühstück in Ordnung.

We appreciated the big room, the proximity to transport, directly in front of the hotel and the breakfast room with a view (maybe the room is too small).

O quarto é muito bom, espaçoso, roupas de cama e banho de qualidade. Localização excelente: de frente para a estação Kagran da linha U1 e para o mega shopping West. Café da manhã bem completo. Os únicos pontos negativos na minha opiniao foram a demora do elevador (de 1 a 2 minutos em média) e o ambiente do café da manhã que, em alguns dias da semana, não comporta o movimento. Mesmo assim, com certeza voltaria a me hospedar pelo custo x beneficio.

Beim Frühstück war es ein Chaos, hat nicht wirklich Platz gehabt für all die Leute die gebucht haben. Zudem hatte es drei Kaffeautomaten, und bei keinem konnte man eine Weile Kaffee rauslaussen. Besteck und Geschirr fehlte au teilweise. Wenn mann später ging hatte es vielleicht nicht mehr so viel zur auswahl. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Ansonsten war alles gut.

The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was good. The food option were good! Close by was Spar supermarket and Noodle King which helped a lot. Especially Spar where i purchased chips and salsa and tolietries for my room. Loved that they were close to the U-Bahn train; about a 2 minute walk. And public transportation right outside. The bus line was very close too. Also Westfield mall was very near (walking distance, about 2 minute walk) and great to grab a bite to eat and walk around! Food vendors nearby that had great food options! Only thing I didn't like was that after 10pm the rooftop patio was closed at 10pm because of quiet time. Which to an American is totally weird but in that respective country, I totally understand it! I asked about the countries reason as to why and was given a truthful response! European countries value quiet at night compared to us Americans, we love loud music at all hours. Depends on the event though! Overall great stay in the hotel. Awesome view at the rooftop patio of the Vienna's 22nd district!

Excellent accomodation, free tea and coffee, great location with subway across the road and a 10 min trip into the centre of Vienna. Also a mall across the road with a supermarket and great restaurants.
