Hotel Grand Stark

Clean room, necessary amenities, very quiet. Street parking was somewhat challenging requiring an app and is limiting depending on time of day.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I wish they had sinks inside the bathroom, but that's a personal preference. The hotel is conveniently located from restaurants with good public transportation.

We love staying at Grand Stark! Our favorite hotel in Portland.

The staff were fantastic. The valet and desk clerks were especially helpful. It was comfortable and clean. It was close to many convenient and tasty spots to eat. Olympia Provisions and The Memory Den make for a fantastic Sunday morning.

The room was not very clean. There were several opportunities to make this experience better: dirty shower, dirty light switch plates, a previous guest's flosser on the floor. It made me wonder what else wasn't properly cleaned. We also had super noisy neighbors that were loud all night, up until 5am. I know that isn't the hotel's fault, but the older architecture definitely didn't help. The bar is only open for a limited window, which felt weird (5pm-9pm).
