We didn't have any smell of cigarettes during our stay. The refrigerator had a separate door for the ice so it froze our icy's well. I like the size of the area to hang up clothes. I liked the shower and it had plenty of hot water. There was a toaster in a public for everyone to share. There was a minor mold problem beside the refrigerator on the wall. The bed was comfortable.

The building's façade was ugly, yes, but the rooms were clean and cozy; the only problem was that the air conditioning didn't work very well.

The front desk employee was behind a plexiglass shield which tells you what type of neighborhood the hotel is in. I will say this, if you are one of those who feel that they don't need to follow rules or play the "disrespected" game, this is not the hotel for you. Bare minimum is what this hotel has to offer. The room was as clean as it could be after people traipse through the room on a daily basis.
