Staff should always be visible when guest arrives! After a long drive, staff should be visible and vibrant with a welcoming disposition! Guest before me was already complaining that there’s never no one at the front desk. So after hearing that and no one was there to help, I preceded to walk behind the counter to get someone, and the staff seems to just be lethargically moving as if our time did not matter! Room 233. Checked in Thursday, Checked out: Saturday 08/29/2026. In town for a conference.

We’ve stayed here a few times before. The room had a fridge and microwave and the queen beds were comfortable. The bathroom used a sliding door, which I don’t care for, however the bathroom wasn’t tiny. The water pressure is ok. They serve breakfast, for a fee, and have a bar and the lounge area is of good size. The hotel is located on the northwest of Cedar Rapids and is easy to get to via the highway.
