En la publicidad dicen que tienen "Parking", pero NO es así. Solo usan la calle de enfrente del hotel como parking. La razón principal por la que escogí este hotel es porque tenía parking, pero al llegar me dijeron que NO había parking privado, solo en la calle. Es un fraude, cuidado!! Expedia debería hacer algo con hoteles fraudes que publicitan servicios que en realidad no ofrecen o NO tienen.

**when you're calling the phone number to the hotel, you were not getting the front desk. I'm not sure where I was wired to. ** make sure to go to the rooftop if you want a rooftop pool view, with lounging beds, and seating area. It's great in the morning! Press Gon the elevator button. It is the main reason why I booked this hotel. The hotel is a bit away from the downtown area. But along the main road, this hotel sits on, or so many unique shops and restaurants you must try. The rooms are essentially the average size room. I love the shower stall. You have a blow dryer, mini bar fridge, and a safe in your room. Michelle at the front desk is wonderful ** there is a small pizza restaurant attached to this hotel. The staff is really nice and they do offer a good selection of food.

Great little hotel at a reasonable rate . Only a few blocks away from the best area of Playa but much quieter. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean , great AC , strong water pressure and lots of hot water. 24 hour reception. Good restaurant downstairs. Beautiful rooftop terrace with pool. Big comfortable bed. Good lighting and power outlets. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Big Chedraui supermarket walking distance. Free water dispenser, coffee. Tea and fruit in the lobby. Would highly reccomend.

Nice clean quiet room, enjoyed the rooftop pool area, only bummer is the pool was quite cold, but lovely views. We had it to ourselves the second day. Both girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, loved the breakfast served in the restaurant and the pizza was great as well. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night.

Me gustó mucho porque el hotel tiene una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Tiene instalaciones muy limpias y bien cuidadas. De igual manera el servicio por parte de todo el personal, principalmente del área de recepción, fue ideal para que hayamos pasado una excelente estancia. El único detalle fue que no tenía estacionamiento dentro del hotel pero afuera se estacionaba muy bien.

I came here as a solo female traveller, wanting a place to stay that wasn’t going to be as loud as staying in the heart of town. 5th Ave is one block away, with tonnes of restaurants nearby, and about a 30 minute walk from being right in the heart of the party. The location is awesome, and I felt very safe walking home late at night. I typically had the rooftop pool to myself and the staff was very, very friendly. Coffee in the restaurant below was really good and the staff there kind as well. The only negative is that people who stay there ignore the pool being closed at 10 pm and party all night very loudly. The staff should lock the door the pool or add some security measure. I would also request not staying on the 4th floor because you can hear the pool a lot more. Bring ear plugs for the various dogs barking and doors slamming shut. The room is big and the bathroom as well. There is a smell when you first arrive but it goes away after one night (probably the air con turning on helps). I would definitely recommend staying here! The price is excellent for what you get as well.

Shout out to the morning staffer - she was the best thing about staying at this hotel, hands-down. Very helpful, friendly, informative, and just genuinely sweet soul. The noise around the property was tough. Dogs barking all day & night. The pictures must have been taken years ago. The room was run down, water leaking from faucet, visible mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling. Ants were all over the bathroom and other dead bugs. The safe beeped on-stop and although this was reported no remedy was provided - I had to stuff wet towels on it to drown out the noise. The patio furniture was not cleaned the entire stay. The pool had dead flies, bees, and other insects floating in it daily, never skimmed. The location was close to several restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a 30-minute walk or 10-minute cab ride. The elevator was slow and sketch. The website showed an on-site restaurant but apparently it had been closed for months. The room smelled of mildew.

Emplacement proche du centre ville mais quartier « bizzare » et sale. Les photos sont appréciables mais la piscine est petite mais agréable à vie - je ne l’ai pas testé. Nous avons juste fait une nuit mais avons changé de chambre : literie pas confortable + bruit de climatisation + aucune pression d’eau dans la douche. Je suis soulagée de n’avoir pas fait plus d’une nuit.
Emplacement proche du centre ville mais quartier « bizzare » et sale. Les photos sont appréciables mais la piscine est petite mais agréable à vie - je ne l’ai pas testé. Nous avons juste fait une nuit mais avons changé de chambre : literie pas confortable + bruit de climatisation + aucune pression d’eau dans la douche. Amazing staff, very attentive if we needed anything. Beds were a little hard and pillows could use a refresh. Very close to the best beach in Playa Del Carmen so we appreciated that. Overall it's a wonderful small hotel that's a little out of the way to enjoy the 5th Avenue experience but if you don't mind a stroll its well worth staying at, and you can't beat the price.

I came here as a solo female traveller, wanting a place to stay that wasn’t going to be as loud as staying in the heart of town. 5th Ave is one block away, with tonnes of restaurants nearby, and about a 30 minute walk from being right in the heart of the party. The location is awesome, and I felt very safe walking home late at night. I typically had the rooftop pool to myself and the staff was very, very friendly. Coffee in the restaurant below was really good and the staff there kind as well. The only negative is that people who stay there ignore the pool being closed at 10 pm and party all night very loudly. The staff should lock the door the pool or add some security measure. I would also request not staying on the 4th floor because you can hear the pool a lot more. Bring ear plugs for the various dogs barking and doors slamming shut. The room is big and the bathroom as well. There is a smell when you first arrive but it goes away after one night (probably the air con turning on helps). I would definitely recommend staying here! The price is excellent for what you get as well.

Hotel Terrasse is a hip little hotel off the beaten path of Playa del Carmen. It looked and felt like new construction and is surrounded by construction zones. While close to 5th Avenue, it's not the bustling tourist district at all (give it 5 years) so restaurant and shopping choices are limited. The neighborhood feels very much like one in transition. The beach is several blocks away (it appeared much closer on maps). At the hotel, the staff were very nice, but there were several problems with our rooms - leaking AC, doors that wouldn't lock, staff break (smoking) room next door, grim views. We ended up leaving after one night as they were unable to fulfil our reservation for two rooms fit for stay.

The pictures are false , false advertisememt .My family & i didnt enjoy it at all ! Staff was not helpful .the pillows had hair on it , hair was behind the bathroom door . my brother got food poisoned . we asked for a refund on the first day & we could not get it . oh and mold is in the hall way , lots & lots of mold . i do not recommend sadly !!!!

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and fully stocked. I love the complimentary coffee, tea, fruit, hot and cold water available. I was very content.

El hotel está en buen estado, sin embargo las fotos son engañosas están muy retocadas y no representan la condición real del hotel. Personal muy atento, el servicio de facturación deficiente aún no recibo la misma. En general hay muchas opciones en PDC, yo buscaría otra.

**when you're calling the phone number to the hotel, you were not getting the front desk. I'm not sure where I was wired to. ** make sure to go to the rooftop if you want a rooftop pool view, with lounging beds, and seating area. It's great in the morning! Press Gon the elevator button. It is the main reason why I booked this hotel. The hotel is a bit away from the downtown area. But along the main road, this hotel sits on, or so many unique shops and restaurants you must try. The rooms are essentially the average size room. I love the shower stall. You have a blow dryer, mini bar fridge, and a safe in your room. Michelle at the front desk is wonderful ** there is a small pizza restaurant attached to this hotel. The staff is really nice and they do offer a good selection of food.

Nice clean quiet room, enjoyed the rooftop pool area, only bummer is the pool was quite cold, but lovely views. We had it to ourselves the second day. Both girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, loved the breakfast served in the restaurant and the pizza was great as well. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night.

Mirla works at the front desk. My 3rd day she efficiently moved my room to the back and stored my luggage for when I returned. I found the dogs barking a little annoying, where some people may not even notice. Mirla also helped me with the bike rental at the hotel. Thank you for excellent service.

Excelente servicio y atención, solo que no cuentan con estacionamiento como tal, nos estacionamos en la calle, afuera del hotel y si está a una calle de la 5ta avenida solo que la zona de comida y buen ambiente está a 15-20 min caminando.

This was place was great, not far from 5th Avenue. Staff were super nice and attentive/helpful. Location was great and felt safe. In front of a Sunday market so it was wholesome to see them prep their stands. Nice spot for our tour guides to find and pick us up. Overall, the stay was excellent! Will visit again soon!

Great little hotel at a reasonable rate . Only a few blocks away from the best area of Playa but much quieter. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean , great AC , strong water pressure and lots of hot water. 24 hour reception. Good restaurant downstairs. Beautiful rooftop terrace with pool. Big comfortable bed. Good lighting and power outlets. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Big Chedraui supermarket walking distance. Free water dispenser, coffee. Tea and fruit in the lobby. Would highly reccomend.

Michelle was the best! She made me feel comfortable and was very helpful. My interaction with being charged for something that while at Emilio’s was disappointing and I felt like The young gentleman in Emilio’s was taking advantage of me being American. I would stay at the hotel again but would not dine at the restaurant.

Super hôtel, très bien placé à 2 pas de l'avenue principale. Très propre, le ménage était fait tous les jours avec la serpillière. L'équipe est super sympa, très serviable. Merci à Barbara pour son aide. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon également. Je recommande fortement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Shout out to the morning staffer - she was the best thing about staying at this hotel, hands-down. Very helpful, friendly, informative, and just genuinely sweet soul. The noise around the property was tough. Dogs barking all day & night. The pictures must have been taken years ago. The room was run down, water leaking from faucet, visible mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling. Ants were all over the bathroom and other dead bugs. The safe beeped on-stop and although this was reported no remedy was provided - I had to stuff wet towels on it to drown out the noise. The patio furniture was not cleaned the entire stay. The pool had dead flies, bees, and other insects floating in it daily, never skimmed. The location was close to several restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a 30-minute walk or 10-minute cab ride. The elevator was slow and sketch. The website showed an on-site restaurant but apparently it had been closed for months. The room smelled of mildew.

NOTE: Be careful about parking if you self-drive as you can get a ticket since there are no designated parking spaces and the local police will ticket your vehicle AND remove the plate from the vehicle! This can disrupt your trip as you need to spend your time to visit a local govt department to pay fees to retrieve your license plate 😖

Although aesthetically pretty at first, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work in our first room and the safe was broken in our second room, the elevator seems very unsafe, and the surrounding area is dirty/sketchy. We were there for maybe an hour before we decided we couldn’t stay at this hotel and we left. Although aesthetically pretty at first, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work in our first room and the safe was broken in our second room, the elevator seems very unsafe, and the surrounding area is dirty/sketchy. We were there for maybe an hour before we decided we couldn’t stay at this hotel and we left. You get what you pay for. The room itself was clean but it definitely needs some updates to remove the stains in tiles of the bathroom grout and the shower faucets do not shine at all. Linens could also get an upgrade b/c you can tell they have been washed too. many times now. The staff were amazing though especially the gentleman who worked on our arrival. We found our window didn’t lock and the door lock wasn't working either that he made some changes and gave us a new room to feel secure. On one of the days we hung out on the roof we didn’t feel comfortable there that the staff sent us to their other hotel a block away to use their roof pool instead so that we could enjoy our stay better. Grocery not far away, great restaurants everywhere (best place was like a block away) and beach is short walk too. All in all, it was good enough for what we paid for and we still enjoyed our time there.
