Brevent access is a quick walk, there are many bus stations a very short walk from the hotel to access other ski areas. The rooms are a good size, the sauna is a great bonus as well as the ski room with boot dryers! Staff was excellent in recommending places to ski based on the conditions. Would highly recommend.

We stayed 4 night at the hotel and was very satisfied. Most amazing view from the hotel room, all the facilities that you need plus a lot extra (drying room for boots and skis!!), kind personale and very central with bus stop right outside the door and several nearby. Also 5 min walk to the sunny ski area Brevent-Flegere. Breakfast was also very good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

La Sapiniere was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony that looked out over Chamonix and directly at Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi, and a 5 minute walk to the town square. All day, paragliders landed right in front of the hotel - thrilling. We had no problem getting a parking spot each night. Highly recommend!

Terrific older hotel in a nice location near downtown Chamonix. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when asked questions about restaurant reservations, skiing ideas, etc. If there is enough snow you can walk across the street and cross a small park on your skis, grab a short poma lift then do a short walk down to the Brevent Cable car. Alternatively, there are bus stops right outside the hotel where you can catch buses to various other parts of town. There are a few nearby restaurants that are a short walk. The views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille de Midi from our room were spectacular. We had a smallish room with two smaller beds, a bathroom with tub and shower, with the toilet in a separate room. A bit older radiator heating system that got quite warm at times. Nice balcony with views so opened the door a time or two to cool things down. Ski storage rooms with boot dryers was nice. Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. You can reserve a time to use privately. You can pre order breakfast for the following morning for an additional fee. Overall an exceptional experience if you don’t need a lot of space.

Like not being in direct downtown area of Chamonix. Beautiful views of Mount Blanc and paragliders landing in the field off our balcony. Very warm and charming sitting areas in the lobby, bar, and outside deck. Every staff member was wonderful!

Very easy access to the ski bus and close to town but quiet. Lovely sauna and friendly staff. It's a family lodge and the owners and staff were very helpful in suggesting best areas for us to aki on different days.

Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful! Room was nice and clean. Location is very convenient. View from both balcony and breakfast room is very beautiful. Breakfast was also very nice with lots of choices. Price was not cheap. But compared to the restaurants in the town, still very valuable. We enjoyed our stay.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet is high quality, and I found the room very sweet and comfortable. I give the place 5 stars overall, but I would provide just a couple small suggestions to the management: It isn't their policy to have mini fridges in the rooms, and while I'm sure there is a good, perhaps environmental, reason for this, it's really inconvenient even if you just want to keep your chocolate or drinks cold. They ask that you don't bring in takeaway food and I also found this tough as a solo traveler who doesn't really like dining alone in busy restaurants all the time. Apart from the breakfast, they do not have a restaurant. I'd also like to suggest a slightly heavier touch with cleaning the room on days other than check in. To be clear, the room was very clean upon arrival--no complaints. I just wished the bathroom countertops and the shower seemed to get a clean surface wipe down. Water remained in the shower from when I used it, and the counter had little rings and water spots from my daily use. It would be nice to have decaf tea available in the room, but I'd like to thank the staff member who provided me some from the bar when I asked. These are small suggestions for the hotel, but for anyone looking for a great place to stay, I'd say this is a wonderful choice.

The rooms could use some love though- our room had a bunch of dust left behind the door when we walked in, and it was so hot that we had to sleep with the balcony doors fully open each night due to the lack of A/C. However, outdoor area, proximity to town, and views are wonderful, and the breakfast area is great. Overall solid 3/5.

Great location, Mandy and her team couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Rooms are really clean, only negative as this is an old building, you can easily hear people in the next room, but this is definitely not enough to stop us returning.

Petit déjeuner simple, mais produits frais, et bio pour la plupart. Literie correcte, chambre et salle de bain propres, peu insonorisé côté couloir cependant, mais c'est peu gênant, entendu qu'il n'y a que 2 ou 3 chambres par étage. Parking gratuit appréciable quasiment en centre ville.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi does not work for whatsapp in our phones. The staff informed us that this may happen if you have Iphone. Other than that the wifi was working good.

The hotel and breakfast were really nice, but the owner was rude to us. We had our baby with us, who for some reason was not registered in their system. When we arrived, they said that normally we should book a larger room (and pay more) when traveling with a baby, but that it was fine for now. However, when we were about to leave, the owner suddenly changed her mind and demanded that we pay extra because of the baby – even though we had not been given a larger room. Terrific older hotel in a nice location near downtown Chamonix. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when asked questions about restaurant reservations, skiing ideas, etc. If there is enough snow you can walk across the street and cross a small park on your skis, grab a short poma lift then do a short walk down to the Brevent Cable car. Alternatively, there are bus stops right outside the hotel where you can catch buses to various other parts of town. There are a few nearby restaurants that are a short walk. The views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille de Midi from our room were spectacular. We had a smallish room with two smaller beds, a bathroom with tub and shower, with the toilet in a separate room. A bit older radiator heating system that got quite warm at times. Nice balcony with views so opened the door a time or two to cool things down. Ski storage rooms with boot dryers was nice. Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. You can reserve a time to use privately. You can pre order breakfast for the following morning for an additional fee. Overall an exceptional experience if you don’t need a lot of space.

Brevent access is a quick walk, there are many bus stations a very short walk from the hotel to access other ski areas. The rooms are a good size, the sauna is a great bonus as well as the ski room with boot dryers! Staff was excellent in recommending places to ski based on the conditions. Would highly recommend.

Myself and my husband recently spent a week at this hotel and loved it. The staff were friendly and the view from our room/balcony of Mont Blanc was stunning. The hotel is fairly close to town (5/10 min walk) and lovely and quiet with a large grassy area in front with free car parking at the hotel as well. It is also close to the trails/cable cars for running or hiking the mountains. There is also a lovely river walk close by if you want something a bit flatter. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hôtel La Sapinière was fantastic. Firstly the rooms and balconies were excellent and the views were amazing. Its a short and easy walk into town but ifs far enough out to be very peaceful. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pastries, and the bar area was lovely with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Finally the staff were so helpful and friendly helping with transport options and excursion ideas. Do not hesitate to book Hôtel La Sapinière!

We had an amazing stay here! Location is perfect and it is such a treat watching the paragliders land outside the room terraces. The breakfast and service at the bar are two other amazing perks that make this hotel a gem. Would highly recommend!

Existe espaço comum para guardar o equipamento e local para as botas com aquecimento. Todos os acessos têm código. Recomendo pela facilidade mas principalmente pela simpatia e conforto com que recebem os hóspedes. O único ponto contra poderá ser a distância ao centro que em dias mais difíceis implica uma caminhada de 5-10 minutos.

Nice and friendly staff, and perfect location near the slopes and just a short walk from the city centre. The breakfast was also a positive experience and a good start to a long day of skiing. The hotel isn’t the most fancy or modern choice, but the triple bed room was perfect for our three night family trip. Hope to come back on another occasion!
