Clean, brand new HI Express designed for drivers and located close to a 401 exit. Around the corner from the INVISTA Centre. And 20 minutes drive to downtown. Free parking and breakfast with all the food groups. Small indoor pool popular with families. Check-in was very smooth. Being off the main street in a business park with spread out industrial structures made walking anywhere unappealing.

Good stay. Only thing we didn't like was the pool and gym. There is no intimacy. Clear Windows everywhere and people outside (just beside the front door) are looking a you. Dark windows at least will make sense. Personnels (front desk and breakfast) were awsome.

The hotel itself was well run and clean. The parking lot is not secure. An individual was canvasing the parking lot pulling on car doors and trunk latches in the late evening. When I confronted him, he walked into the bushes and unveiled a shopping cart he had waiting for the goods. He walked it down the street and hid it for later. I informed the front desk and was told they could not provide security for the parking lot, or a secure parking spot in general, but they would check the lot once on the hour. I re-parked my vehicle so I could see it from my room and stayed up most of the night to monitor it. The hotel itself is very isolated and the surrounding area is dark.

Very clean and quiet everywhere you look - in the room, bathroom and common areas throughout the hotel. On the second day, they did not make up the room until 6:30pm causing some inconvenience as we were getting ready to go out.

This used to be my go to hotel when I am visiting in kingston, this time we were given an outdated room with terrible beds the mattresses were caved in and pillows were bad, last few times we stayed in a totally different floor it seems. Breakfast was basic, parking was great.

We were extremely frustrated with the television. Their chrome cast woyld not work so they said they woukd send someone up. Instead I soend an hour on the phone with a tech support guy with no manners. He coyld not figure it out so we have up. The outlet on the besside table did not work. The ice maker near us did not work. Woynd up all over the hotel to find ice.

We got to Kingston. It was a new hotel Holiday Inn. Very very nice. The rooms are very spacious beautiful part of town very quiet five stars across the board. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was five stars as well was very full when I left.

Property was clean and modern, obviously new. Well planned excellent on site facilities. Found lighting in room strange - unable to leave one small light open to read in bed withouit having several lights on and needing to get up to turn out the lights.

This property is fairly new, so it's kind of annoying that so many things already seem run-down: broken tiles in the elevator, loose faucet in the bathtub, etc. The room was fine--clean enough, decent size. But the front desk staff? From the person who kept me standing there for over 20 minutes (after 8 hours in the car with my family) repeatedly messing up the processing of my reservation to the guy who, when I asked if they could exchange currency, just tried to scam me by exchanging his own CAD one-for-one for my USD... yikes.

I had to walk through a person smoking at the front door. I told a staff member. After they investigated the person told me that there was no one smoking at the front door. I will reserve comment on that answer

The housekeeping staff walked into the room while my 14 year old was sleeping and we were down at breakfast. My daughter asked him to come back later and he ignored her and continued to strip the beds. She had to lock herself in the bathroom because she was upset and didn’t know what to do. When we reported it the housekeeper said he used his translator to talk to my child and she said to come in. He didn’t use a translator and she said to come back. This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional.

The front desk staff during check-in was very pleasant. Parking was easy and straightforward. The breakfast was okay. This might be becuase we were a bit late for the breakfast. Location might be a bit too far out of the city, feeling like it was in the middle of nowhere.

From the warm welcome from the staff to the cleanliness, amenities & great breakfast included; I would highly recommend this hotel. Surrounded by well maintained grounds & a beautiful nature trail. Note: the area around it is still new & being developed but restaurants, Costco and other stores are only 2km away.

This hotel is very close to the INVISTA Centre. There is even a path to walk to it. It is also very close to the highway. Shopping and restaurants are just a 5 minute drive away. My only complaint is that the plugs didn’t work beside the bed.

I stayed at the hotel with my wife and a friend a couple of weeks ago, and we really enjoyed the overall service and attention from the people at the front desk to the cleaner and at the restaurant. In addition, the hotel is well located, close to the Hwy. 401 and not far from the downtown. I will highly recommend it.

Room was great, clean and comfortable, but breakfast was very disappointing. Small breakfast room for the size of the hotel, huge line to wait for food, everything was empty so we had to wait in line for over 15 min for them to refill, and they only refilled enough to serve not even 1/2 the line. My husband and I split 1 plate, ( 1 egg, 2 pieces of bacon) because they didn’t have enough to feed everyone, we felt bad for those at the back of the line. Then several of us had to take our breakfast to the lobby or to our room because the tables were all full. Very frustrating end to our stay. We expected much better for a Holiday Inn.

It is a very clean and nice hotel. They can improve on their coffee which is very weak for someone who likes strong coffee in the morning. Breakfast needs a purk - no fruit was available because it was Monday, they said. Otherwise very nice place to stay.

Came here for a work event for 3 nights, 2 of the 3 nights we had to call front desk due to severe noise from other guests in the hallways and nearby rooms. Room was very clean and tidy however the lack of sleep due to noise issues greatly disappointed. Breakfast was limited and ran out of meat to enjoy with other hot food. Otherwise food was average

This hotel was beautiful and our room was perfect for our 1-night stay. Good variety at breakfast. Parking was easy and convenient. We are also grateful this is a pet-friendly hotel and our pup was spoiled by the staff when we checked in. We would definitely stay here again on another trip!
