1 Mi to Cathedral Rock Trailhead: Home w/ Sunroom

Great property, great amenities (including some snacks and wine!), absolutely great neighborhood near Chapel of the Holy Cross, and both Oak Creek and Sedona tourist attractions. The garage was empty and available for use, there some convenient additions in the kitchen that were missing in other properties (like coffee, cooking oil and condiments, etc.), and washer/dryer available for use. Really wonderful property. Would stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Sedona home. The fully fenced backyard was our favorite feature—our pup Jubilee could run around safely while we relaxed. The yard is thoughtfully set up with comfortable furniture and a grill, making it the perfect spot for evening hang‑outs after a day of exploring the red rocks.Inside, everything was spotless and exactly as pictured. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, which made it easy to unwind, and check‑in was a breeze with clear instructions and a keyless entry. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with a great outdoor space (especially for dogs), this house is a fantastic choice. We’d happily book again!

We loved the idea of having a fully fenced backyard for our pups. It was very inviting and clean. Had everything and extras of anything you could need for your stay. The only thing l could complain about is the chairs on the dining room table need to be tightened. Most of the legs were loose. We will definitely keep this place in my for our next stay.

This was a nice place to stay. The only real issue we had was the crazy amount of mosquitoes on the property- hanging in the backyard was not an option because of that. There is a little bit of standing water in the backyard which could contribute to the problem. The house was very clean and we loved the games and books for the kids!

Absolutely loved the privacy of the location, the walkability of the beautiful neighborhood, and easy access to town. Views from the front and back yard were outstanding and it was a short walk to Chapel on the Hill to avoid all the traffic/parking issues. The home was perfectly appointed with everything we needed, bed/bedding was incredibly comfy and our dogs LOVED the spacious back yard. We also graciously enjoyed the delicious bottle of local wine that welcomed our arrival! A few bonus highlights was watching the little family of Javelina's stroll through the lot across the street one morning, a beautiful buck trot down the street one afternoon, and the serenade of the birds in the surrounding trees while enjoying time on the lovely patio to sip our coffee or watch the sunset. Truly enjoyed everything about this home! We would not only rent again, but highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Sedona area.

We had a great stay at this property. Kitchen is well equipped to cook and eat meals at home. Bathrooms have plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Outdoor space was nice, although there was some standing water which made mosquitoes a bit of a problem so we unfortunately couldn’t be outside as much as we would have liked. Also one of the back doors was unlocked when we checked in and could not be locked. This was a known issue when we texted the host and the solution was to take a wooden pole out of the closet and wedge it in the track. The location was great. You’re able to walk to the mystic trail head.

Superb, clean house in a beautiful neighborhood, really made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. Quite a large place with an amazing Zen room surrounded by windows in the back, and an inviting back patio perfect for relaxing in the cool Sedona Fall weather. A large well-designed kitchen with great appliances and plenty of cooking supplies, dishes, and more to make cooking meals a breeze. Of course plenty of coffee. Large master bedroom with its own door to the back patio, and nice second bedroom. Everything is very nicely decorated. House is within easy walking distance to several trailheads that take you to many of the top Sedona attractions; you could go on several day hikes on different trails each day and leave your car at the house. You can park your car in the garage if you want, though we left ours in the driveway. This was a great place and made our Sedona vacation amazing, highly recommended!

We absolutely loved this house especially the nice fenced in back yard with incredible views. Only a few miles from town. It had all the amenities including very comfortable beds. Also set up well for pets. I would highly recommend!

House as advertised. Shame the sunroom which is really neat didn’t really get any sun. If the kitchen was updated it would be even nicer. Parts of whole house could be updated for a really stunning home! Great had a view of the red rocks! Appears the sprinkler system needed some repairs. Loved all the doors and had nice cool air in bedroom. Primary bedroom and bath very nice. The bed and bedding were fabulous! So comfortable! Very fun house. Stayed there for my husband’s 65 birthday and he really enjoyed it! Estrella was very responsive and kind! Thank you!

In a safe, beautiful location. A few things in the home could be improved--the dirty tub and shower curtain were hard to ignore during our stay.

My husband, my dog, and I spent 3 nights at this property and had the best experience! The home is on a beautiful, quiet street surrounded by luscious plants and majestic rock cliffs. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The home was spotless and we were greeted by a nice card and a welcome basket with snacks and wine. Other things we appreciated about this home = wonderful, fluffy towels; a well equipped kitchen; great Wi-Fi; fenced in private back yard with grass for the pup. The king sized bed was comfortable and we loved having the sliding door off the bedroom to the patio. Another fantastic perk was the large garage that held both of our mountain bikes and our truck. We were minutes from downtown Sedona, but out of the hustle and bustle. If you like hiking and mountainbiking, this home is wonderful because you can access many trails from this neighborhood without getting in the car! Would definitely stay again.

And it’s just close enough to both Oak Creek and downtown Sedona. We had a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this AirBnb, and the bed in the master bedroom was SO comfy! Loved the outdoor patio as well. Great location for exploring a different area of Sedona than we have before. Beautiful fenced-in backyard for my daughter's dog to roam around in. Just a heads up about the TV in the master. You have to turn the light switch on for the TV to work!!

We did have a few problems — check in instructions were incorrect, code was not set to our phone number; we couldn’t reach Evolve, thankfully the owner responded after a few calls and gave us the correct code. The internet also did not work throughout our stay. Those were pretty significant negatives in the experience, I’m between 3 and 4 stars overall. Hopefully it goes better for future guests.

This lovely home sits happily in a quiet neighborhood about 4 miles out of town off of highway 179, yet it takes no time at all to get to the main streets of Sedona. We particularly liked being away from noise and a crush of tourists. The king bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was easy to use for making our meals (you may wish to bring your favorite spices if you are going to do a lot of cooking), and was well equipped with cookware, appliances and utensils. The spacious backyard was perfect for our two mini golden doodles. Being able to park in the garage was a plus. One item that was disappointing was that the home is advertized as having two fireplaces, but the homeowner informed us that we couldn't use either of them; February mornings and evenings in Sedona are cold and a nice fire would have been wonderful...The sunroom is a cool addition to the home but we opted not to use it...The property contact, a gracious young woman who lives nearby, was very helpful and accessible. In our 30 years of booking through VRBO, we have been most successful and satisfied dealing directly with the host/homeowner; in this case, there is an out of state management company and the booking process is vague and unclear. Be sure that if you are traveling with dogs, that you pay attention to the details in the booking and that your dogs are mentioned so the booking is clear and concise.

It's so close to Chapel Rock, you can see the chapel as you come and go, and it only takes about 15 minutes to get to Uptown. The location was great as it was a short drive to the main shopping area as well as many hikes, including Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock (which were gorgeous!). The beds were comfortable and we especially enjoyed the spacious backyard (which was great for a little stargazing in the evening).

We stayed two weeks in this house and absolutely loved it! We are big hikers and found ourselves within walking distance of several great hikes just off Hwy 179. At most, it was only a short drive to several viewpoints with well signed trailheads from which to choose, while avoiding the inevitable weekend traffic in town. The house itself was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, roomy bedrooms and spacious living room. The bedrooms had good closet space and dressers so we could unpack, stash the suitcases and make ourselves at home for a while. So great to have a washer and dryer too! Though we stayed in February, the outdoor patio areas were also very inviting, and on the sunny afternoons we often enjoyed the warmth of the sun on the SW patio. This is a quiet location far enough from the lights of Sedona to be able to enjoy the night sky as well. Big thanks to the hosts for making our stay one of the best ever.
