Courtyard by Marriott Clearwater Beach

Very nice, cozy vibe with this property. Staff is wonderful. Location is great. Bed is comfy. Roof top bar is great. If you want to park a car - valet parking is your only choice but it is quick & efficient.

I like the place it was clean little pricey, but it was a Saturday on Clearwater Beach so what do you expect? Staff was super cool. room had a fun view. It was nice. I liked it. Fun place to stay if you decide last minute to stay in town but book early in the day. We checked in around four and the whole hotel was booked out by 8P. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a shower door and water got everywhere. For me personally I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t get the breakfast sandwich for my free breakfast option. For 20 bucks for two people it wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was nice that the lady at the counter cooked my eggs to order, she was very friendly too. Those are pretty much the only cons. I would stay here again if I was in town, preferably not on a weekend.

Needed more chaise lounges at pool, less chairs

I was not impressed at all. I was very disappointed. The room was not ready when we got there at 4. We sat there a half hour and it still was not ready. They ended up giving us a different room which was OK. When we finally got to the room the keys did not work. We had to go back down and get that fixed. When we got in the room and got settled we realized there were only hand towels. We went back down and proceeded to wait twenty minutes while both counters were being monopolize by one family. Apparently they must have been VIP members. Other disappointments were the parking was mandatory valet at an additional $38. We did try the pizza restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was exceptional. Apparently guests receive a free dessert but we were told our dessert was not part of the offer. Would have been nice to be told this beforehand. I will definitely not be returning to this hotel when there are so many better options. I thought the Marriott would have been a reputable name .I qill stick with Hilton.

Property was well maintained, staff were really friendly and good with the kids. 7 mins walk to the beach and close to very thing.
