My wife and I chose to visit the North Shore of Lake Superior for our anniversary. We found this location to be convenient for us and only about 15 minutes from Duluth, in a nice quiet neighborhood with nice seclusion. We stayed in the lower level, which was convenient because we didn't have to negotiate any stairs. The dehumidifier worked well. The upstairs guests were quiet and respectful. The bed was comfortable and the space was perfect for 2 people.

Checked in Friday late afternoon and left Sunday morning. The bed was very comfortable and I'm told the futon was comfy to sleep on. The entire place is nice and I enjoyed the view out the windows. Parking is close and not having to walk any stairs was handy. I thought the price was reasonable. It had a country feel to it while being close to town. I would like to come back when I can stay longer since we were gone all day Saturday.

Thank you for letting us come a day early on such short notice. We really appreciate that. Your place is cozy, well appointed, and in a wonderful location. We were there during a big snowfall and the wooded setting was gorgeous. It worked very well for us. We were there 3 nights and the first night we didn’t here anyone in the unit above us even though a car was parked in the driveway. We met the gentleman staying there as we shoveled the driveway together the next day. The next morning he got up about 5:30am to get ready for work and I was awakened by his walking in shoes on the floor above. The third night we stayed, a different group was upstairs and normal conversation could be heard all evening. They were not excessively loud, but definitely could be heard. It was distracting. We would definitely stay again but would rent the upstairs instead.

Great place! Only suggestion would be to update with new pillows. The temp was very cold to start out on the lower level (for summer) until we started the heater. Maybe provide more blankets for people who don’t tolerate cold well. The place was roomy, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Thank you!

This was a great location for exploring Duluth. Though located on the far west end of the general Duluth area, local roads connected easily to the main driving arteries making it easy to get most places without undue traffic problems. The space itself was very nice. Clean, mostly quiet and if you have a cell phone, the hosts were available for assistance. If, like me, you do not like cell phone they were unavailable.

Owners are very thoughtful about misc products such as paper towels, cooking seasonings, & bathing amenities. Very pleasant place to stay. Only issue was Vrbo link was not working when checking in but was able to get ahold of them & get info.
