We stayed here for a week, and it was perfect for 2 couples! We had a truck and trailer, 2 motorcycles and another vehicle and there was plenty of room to park. The house was beautiful and so clean, we loved all the little details. You can really tell the owners care and put a lot of work into this place. We did wish there was a tv in the 2nd bedroom just for night time, but wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Murphy. The house was beautiful, and the location was peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and cooking on the grill. We were glad to be near so many outdoor activities that allowed us to enjoy being out in nature.

My wife and I traveled to Murphy with our two daughters and stayed at Hummingbird House. I cannot say enough positive things about this house and our overall experience. The house is beautiful and was well stocked for our 3 night stay. So many things about this house show a personal touch and a genuine care. The screened in back deck was one of our favorite spots overlooking the woods and we enjoyed watching the deer pass through. The hot tub was also a favorite for relaxing after walks on the Murphy river walk. We spent a few hours playing corn hole which sits next to a large stone patio with a fire pit. There is also a large front porch overlooking the woods across the street. We had a couple rain showers which made for such a relaxing time listening to the rain while sitting on the porch drinking coffee. The house is less than five minutes from the heart of downtown which was great as we made multiple trips there daily for the local restaurants. My wife and I are already planning our next stay here later this year. The overall personal touch sets this house apart from places we’ve stayed in the past. We cannot wait to visit again!

It is one of the best places we stayed at. Very clean, cozy, and has everything you think you would need. Both porches are fantastic and the hot tub is a nice addition for sure. The screened in porch in the back is also very nice. We will definitely try to stay here again!

This house has everything you need to the "nth" degree (There was a shoe horn by the chair in the bedroom!). Beautiful setting in the woods. Hot tub that was oh so good! Inside was immaculate. Beautiful wall art. Cutest bathrooms. Designed so perfect. Comfy beds. Pet friendly. Close to casino. Friendly neighbors. Grill... it goes on and on. You won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful place to stay. All the amenities of home and lacking nothing. Cozy quiet home. The hot tub was wonderful. Friendly folks in the area too. The home is close to mostly anything that you may need to obtain extra on your personal list. Shopping centers and grocery stores just few miles away. Less that 8 minutes to downtown Murphy, NC and about 10 to 15 minutes to the Casino if interested. We missed the opportunity to experience the River Walk but would highly recommend it. Murphy has many unique shops and eateries that may interest you as well. The Chop House has excellent food. If you like flea markets to find treasures, Deckers Flea Market and Foster's is north if the city about 4 miles. If you are interested in a Brewery or Winery, they have them too. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay. The contact person was more than willing to be helpful when needed. Truly an awesome experience with plans to return.

Hummingbird House was the perfect landing pad for us while we attended classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The home was so charming and clean, with very easy check-in and check-out instructions and good communication with the host. It is also a very short drive to Downtown Murphy and the Folk School. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again in the future!

We rented Hummingbird for a one week vacation with friends. We were amazed with this property from the thought that was put in to provide everything we needed. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable, perfect size living room so that we could all sit around and chat in the evenings. We had a total of 4 motorcycles with us plus a 20ft trailer. More than enough room. We were so happy with this rental that we are already planning to stay here next year..

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. It was a cozy little house right outside of Murphy. It was in a great location close to many things to do and see. The cottage itself was clean with everything you need. My favorite spot was the back porch sipping coffee. The owner was very helpful and was quick to respond. I would stay there again.

Hummingbird House was the perfect landing pad for us while we attended classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The home was so charming and clean, with very easy check-in and check-out instructions and good communication with the host. It is also a very short drive to Downtown Murphy and the Folk School. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again in the future!

I loved this property and the indoor murals beautiful .i love the way the host provideed everything i need for a great sucessful trip. Mext i will use the hot tub for sure.

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. It was a cozy little house right outside of Murphy. It was in a great location close to many things to do and see. The cottage itself was clean with everything you need. My favorite spot was the back porch sipping coffee. The owner was very helpful and was quick to respond. I would stay there again.

What a wonderful place to stay. All the amenities of home and lacking nothing. Cozy quiet home. The hot tub was wonderful. Friendly folks in the area too. The home is close to mostly anything that you may need to obtain extra on your personal list. Shopping centers and grocery stores just few miles away. Less that 8 minutes to downtown Murphy, NC and about 10 to 15 minutes to the Casino if interested. We missed the opportunity to experience the River Walk but would highly recommend it. Murphy has many unique shops and eateries that may interest you as well. The Chop House has excellent food. If you like flea markets to find treasures, Deckers Flea Market and Foster's is north if the city about 4 miles. If you are interested in a Brewery or Winery, they have them too. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay. The contact person was more than willing to be helpful when needed. Truly an awesome experience with plans to return.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Murphy. The house was beautiful, and the location was peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and cooking on the grill. We were glad to be near so many outdoor activities that allowed us to enjoy being out in nature.

Our best ever stay in Murphy! The hosts were very accommodating. The house was even nicer than it looked in the pictures and we liked being in the woods with birds singing all around. It is comfortable and tastefully furnished with high quality furniture and beds. The house is an easy drive into downtown Murphy as well as to Hayesville. We hope to visit again soon.

You could tell as you entered how clean the cabin is. It wasn't only clean but very comfortable and I am very picky when it comes to beds. They thought of everything from all you need in the shower to what you need in the kitchen and towel for shower and extra towels for the hot tub. When we visit Murphy again we will be staying at same cabin.
