Riverfront Condo Downtown w/ Pool and Hot Tub

Location: excellent. Very easy river access. Tubes rental locations nearby. Plenty of places to shop and eat with in 10 min drive. \r \r Unit: left a lot to be desired. It was clean (ish). Some of the dishes were dirty. The linens / curtains / couch cushion held in a lot of strange smells. The bed in the primary bedroom was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE —squeaky, springs poke you, no support and not soft. It made for a long night of tossing and turning trying to find a tolerable position. The sun rises at the perfect angle in the primary bedroom to blind you in the morning— and the curtains are completely sheer, so don’t plan on sleeping in —not that you could with how uncomfortable the bed was. Sigh. The garbage disposal smelled really awful. Oh, also the lock box was very hard to get opened. The whole unit was very dated, smelled strange and could use a major refresh. Portions of the parking garage are very low and my 6’6” husband had to duck his head to walk through. On a positive note- the AC was awesome. The unit stayed cool despite the 100+ degree temps outside. \r \r My biggest concern was the there were pills (3 different ones) on the lamp base in the primary bedroom. It’s a safety concern that loose pills would be sitting out in a condo that should have been emptied and cleaned from previous guests. \r \r Overall: not sure I would stay in that unit again unless as a last resort. I would return to the complex in a different—hopefully better—unit.

My daughter and I decided to take a quick trip to the river and loved this place. We were able to enjoy the pool and hop straight into the river. They have Texas Tubes right next door so we could rent tubes and float to the exit and get on the bus back home. The apartment was perfect. Will most definitely be coming back for years to come.

The condo was bigger than expected and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner's instructions were clear and concise. Only issue we had was dodging wasps and wasp nests on the stairs around the property. Overall we are looking to book again for our next river trip!

Our rooms were awesome, a very nice pool,, & a 3 minute walk if you want to go tubing..

This property is not ADA accessible,The train noise and construction noise were terrible. There are no eateries around the condo. Management did not respond to requests. The location next to the river is not walkable. The pool was not in use, being cleaned and repaired.

Great place! Nice and clean. Water pressure was something to be desired in the showers. Parking is very limited in the ramps as hight restrictions to 6' and the outside parking lot is on a very steep hill.

The proximity to the river, and the ease of getting in and out was really convenient.

Also, i was taller than the shower head in the back bathroom, and i'm 5'6". Overall, it worked out fine for just three nights.

The property and the rental was perfect! The condo was clean and couldn't have asked for a better location. Will most definitely book again if ever we are back in the area and it's available of course.

We loved the location to the river, Wurstfest, and downtown restaurants. The property is old but very clean and well maintained.

The room wasn’t clean, the showers in both bathrooms didn’t drain well, the beds were very hard, the couch wasn’t clean and the couch bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Very quite location just very very out dated and needs updates on everything!

Great location. Perfect set up for three to six people. Was welcoming and clean but could be cleaner (smelled moldy and dusty). One screen door was malfunctioning and the ceiling fan in the living room needs to be replaced. Otherwise, I would definitely rent this specific unit again in a heartbeat.

We walk in the condo and it smells like pee. Try to contact Vrbo but end up with someone that’s in charge of the units, not the property manage. We already tried to talk with her and was told they did not manage that unit (118). We go to CVS and get a candle to try and mask the smell. Next I open the freeze to get ice, ice pours out over the floor. The ice maker is broker and never senses there is ice in it. I notify them if this as well. They say they will get maintenance over in the morning to fix it. They fix was to just get all the ice out except what is in the tray. I had raised the sensor arm ( after chipping away ice) and stop it from continuing. Since maintenance did not fix anything, the next person to let’s the arm down to make ice is going to have the same issue. As we get ready for bed, we find that the dead bolt lock on the front door does not work. I then looked at the door jamb and it had been kicked in at some point and their “repair” was to nail on a new piece on inside trim. They did not replace the jamb so there is really nothing stopping someone from just pushing their way in. This too was reported and like the ice maker nothing was done to correct so we sleep in a room without being able to dead both it for security. You want to avoid this place unless your some 20 something just there to party all night. To add insult to this whole weekend there is no coffee to make coffee, we are told to wash our own dishes and carry out all the trash. The

Great location to river but a bit dirty and unkept. Popcorn ceilings in the bathroom are wet and damp and pieces are hanging from it along with moldy brown stuff which make it really gross when trying to clean yourself. Cups in the cabinets were dirty upon arrival with food pieces stuck to them. Location to the river was great. AC worked great and we were able to keep the condo cool. Saturday we heard honking all day long while at the condo due to how crazy it gets accessingi the river on a Saturday. Overall I’d rate this condo a 4 out of 10, could use some updates and a deep cleaning for sure.

Very clean, comfortable beds and close to everything! We will stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone going to New Braunfels!

The view for this room was perfect for the pool and river. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed I have ever sleep in. Loved that all kitchen tinsels were available and I didn't need to run out and buy anything.

Overall a great place. Older than I expected and more expensive than I anticipated, but a good stay.

Nice spot to spend a few days. River and pool looked great, we didn’t use due to weather and other activities. The kitchen was small but adequate, could use a few more tools (tongs and an egg turner, and maybe some wine glasses).

Condo is on the older side. Beds were not comfortable but the condo had great location. For that, I would stay here again.

The condo was comfortable for sleeping, but the furniture in the common space was uncomfortable for just hanging out or dining as a group. Also, i was taller than the shower head in the back bathroom, and i'm 5'6". Overall, it worked out fine for just three nights.

Very pleased with the condo and we enjoyed our stay.. Management was VERY responsive to our questions and needs. The front bathroom water pressure was too low and needed to be addressed. Both bathrooms could stand to have some hooks for towels. The kitchen needed a larger fry pan. The microwave was so clean I could swear it was brand new. Otherwise everything was very clean and tidy.

The condo is in a great location. You are close to several restaurants and breweries. The tube rental is less than a block away. The river is right outside your door. The condo is an older property but it is clean and well equipped. We had a very relaxing stay.
