Adorable 2 bedroom guesthouse in the pines

This was our last stop on our roadtrip. Traveling with my friend and our dogs, we stayed only one night and wished we had stayed longer. The guesthouse is adorable and located in a peaceful and beautiful setting surrounded by magnificent trees and in a quiet neighborhood. We each had ample privacy within the house and a cute little backyard bonus. I would recommend this to my friends and also stay here again.

4 of us needed a place to stay overnight and this place was perfect. Clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hammock while sipping my morning coffee.

Beautiful property! It has its own private driveway so parking is right next to the door! It is large and spacious with two bedrooms and a full bath with great water pressure in the shower! A washer and dryer inside! Full kitchen! I highly recommend this place!

Perfect property for 4 people. The location was convenient and the property was very clean and charming. Having washer and dryer on site a bonus along with detergent to use. Coffee was available which saved us a trip to the store. We received great communication before our visit.

Beautifully done. Loved the access of separate driveway. Grandson loved the hammock. Very quiet neighborhood. Even though the little house is right next to the main abode, it felt very private.

This property was AWESOME. It was exactly what we were hoping for on our trip. It had a perfect sized yard for our pup after a long day of driving. Everything in the house was updated and looked great. It was conveniently located and the owner was great with communication. If we come back to Flagstaff this will be our first choice for a place to stay. I would absolutley reccomend staying at this property.

We went to Flagstaff to visit my daughter who is at NAU and due to the big snow storm prior to our visit we stayed in most of the time and cooked all of our meals. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the place was super cozy for all of us. Would definitely stay again!

All of us were very impressed with how clean and comfortable this place was at its price point. For a group of 4 or less I don’t know if you could do better in Flagstaff. Nice TV, great kitchen, comfortable beds and is pet friendly what more could you ask for. Joy was responsive to our emails and we had no problems with anything. We don’t get up here a lot but we hope this place is available when we do.

A home away from home in a beautiful neighborhood! The home is so quiet. The beds are very comfortable. We made this our home base for our day trip to Sedona. This was our last stop on our Arizona/New Mexico road trip before returning to Southern California. The owner alerted me about something left behind and was able to mail it to me. Wiish we could have stayed a little longer.

We have stayed in 3-4 different 2 bedroom units in Flagstaff over the years and this was the cleanest and newest one we have stayed. Great location too for visiting campus - about 5 min drive. We found it to be private and comfortable and would stay here again without hesitation.

The location and the place was perfect! I just didn’t like how the owners made an incorrect assumption that we didn’t pay in advance for our dogs and sent us a passive aggressive note after we left. Complaining that we stayed past checkout time and that we had dogs that we didn’t report to them. They immediately sent an incorrect bill for more than what they are supposed to charge. I just don’t like when people assume the worst in others instead of just walk over 15 feet and talk to us. Thankfully this happened at the very end of our trip and didn’t put a dark cloud over a beautiful stay. The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone we ran into were kind and talkative.Note: I apologize for checking out late because I assume checkout time was 11 like every other place I’ve stayed. But unfortunately, they have it at 10. Again, if they would’ve just walked over and talked to us, we would’ve hurried and got out of there but we were just enjoying the weather and taking our time until 11. I asked the owner to scroll up in our conversation and she can see where I paid the fee and where we talked about the dogs. She eventually removed the inflated invoice and zeroed out the account. It was just a little sad since I would have been a repeat customer, but I would prefer to do business with someone who is more kind and assumes good intentions. But if you are reading this, you will enjoy the stay. The place worked out nicely for us and the neighborhood is beautiful. And great location!

This guesthouse worked out great for us. Very close to the university, but far enough away to feel like a stay in the woods. The only small issue was with the wifi, but the host was very responsive to address it. We had decent cell coverage, so not a major issue for us. Overall very happy with our stay!

When we got to the property there was an RV blocking the driveway and so I called to ask them to move it but based on the conversation I could overhear it was awkward. The place was fine but it wasn’t very welcoming mostly because of the religious paraphernalia they had out. I feel like that should be disclosed in the listing - not everyone is your specific religion. They also didn’t allow smoking on the front patio or the back. Which is fine but I wish had been one of the first things on the listing because come on - we’re in flagstaff and marijuana is legal. I found it towards the bottom of their description after arriving. I assume this is another part of the owners religious bias. The place was fine but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the above.

Joy informed us we could check-in early and provided easy to understand instructions for parking, door lock, and other pertinent info. about our stay at this beautiful location. During our stay, we realized we didn't have a blender to make strawberry daiquiris. We reached out to Joy, who was quick to respond and a blender was delivered the next day before we returned from our Flagstaff adventures. Thank you Joy for being a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner's provided comfortable furnishings. We stayed here and traveled to AZ Snowbowl, which is fairly close at around 35 minutes depending on weather.
