Willowhaven ~ Beautifully Crafted Redwood Home, Spa, Woof!

Lovely stay in Wilowhaven! Surrounded by redwoods. Absolutely Lovely! Go there just to circled by the Giant Redwoods. We came to Monte Rio for a Memorial Service and Nature embraced us, held us…we also spent time at Goat Rock Beach one of the Holiest places on Earth.

We stayed here while attending a friend’s wedding in Sonoma and knew we wanted something a little unique and this place absolutely delivered. Because of the wedding, we needed an iron and ironing board (not something we usually care about), and the owners had it ready for us right when we arrived. Super responsive and thoughtful.Check-in and check-out were seamless. For a couple, the space is perfect. Super cozy bed, and having full bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs was a great bonus.The hot tub was incredible. I mean, come on! It's right in the middle of a redwood fairy circle. The deck and yard were equally inviting; we spent time just sitting outside, having lunch, and relaxing.We saw a few comments about the neighborhood but honestly didn’t understand them. It’s quiet, peaceful, and an easy trip into town for coffee or breakfast. We also loved the location for exploring: one day in the redwoods (Armstrong Woods) and another out at Shell Beach and Goat Rock hunting for the coolest rocks and sea glass.We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, and this is easily top three. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Willowhaven was the perfect location for a small group of friends to relax after a busy, week-long work event. The hot tub is awesome under the towering redwoods. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay, including a cozy fireplace. The pull out sofa bed was incredibly comfortable and easy to put away for the day. So for those who plan to use that second bed, know that you'll be comfortable. Great locations for food and hikes in Monte Rio nearby, and all that Guernville has to offer is just a short drive away.

This property was VERY comfy! Nestled in Redwood trees with a comfy cabin feel! We had access to plenty of trails and beach spots! The cabin was well equipped with all the cooking items youd need!

Very quaint place with just enough creature comforts to stay for a few days. We loved the deck and hot tub, our dogs felt very at home there as well. We will tell our friends about this home and we will be booking it again next year
