Nora was very friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find, extremely clean, lots of room, and plenty of comfortable beds. The pool table was quite entertaining. Beautiful property right outside of Gettysburg. Two nights was not long enough. We wanted to stay longer.

This property is beautiful! It is meticulously clean and has so many personal touches to make you feel at home. Plenty of extra blankets, towels, toiletries and snacks that make it so easy to stay here. It is spacious, private and quiet. The location is perfect, being so close to the Battlefield and the Eisenhower place, as well as grocery, restaurants, ice cream etc. and Gettysburg College. Coming back to the house at the end of a long day to soak in the surrounding beauty of fields and flowers is such a huge plus!! Watch a sunrise from the patio and enjoy a walk at sunset... this place is truly relaxing! One downside for me was no washer/dryer. Being a party of 6, I did hit the laundromat a few times but North Gettysburg Laundry is open 24/7 and so clean and reasonably priced. The bar size sink in the kitchen area and no full-size oven was a bit of a challenge but only because there were 6 of us and I was trying to save money by eating in. The hosts Don and Nora were so friendly and accommodating and our experience here was loved by all. We hope to come back as the area offers so much in history and beauty that it is hard to leave. We will definitely be recommending this property to family and friends! Thank you Don and Nora!!

The place was quiet and comfortable with plenty of space. The pool table was fun, and the snacks/cereal and milk were a nice touch. It was also very close to Gettysburg attractions. We would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for our stay - it literally felt like a home away from home. The apartment (the lower level of a large ranch-style home) is huge - large bedrooms, large living rooms (including one with a pool table), large bathrooms - worlds away from staying in a hotel. It was spotless and well appointed - plenty of extra towels, blankets, dishes, etc. The "kitchen" is really a converted bar, so no oven, but it did have a full size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, etc. - definitely more than adequate for our needs. The location is excellent. It is only about 5-10 minutes to Gettysburg (depending on where you're going - downtown, to the battlefield, etc.). The patio opens onto a large field that slopes down to a far distant tree line (great place for a morning coffee while watching the hummingbirds.) The neighboring houses are similarly situated, giving it a nice, spacious, rural effect without feeling isolated. Nora is very gracious and responsive, although we really only exchanged pleasantries with her, as everything was already in place. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and would love to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Gettysburg.

The house was lavishly stocked with linens, bathroom supplies, and kitchen needs. Additionally, Don and Nora provided a wide selection of cereal, coffee pods and teas. They greeted us soon after we arrived, and invited us to let them know if we needed anything. We are delighted to have stayed at this house.

We visited Gettysburg for the first time and stayed in this beautiful home. Don and Nora were wonderful hosts. The house was immaculate and they even left muffins, things for breakfast even granola bars that we took with us on our daily sightseeing. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The rental unit has many nice features. It's not right in Gettysburg, but isn't far away. We were actually happy to be outside Gettysburg. It was a quiet place to stay.

Our family of five enjoyed our stay so very much! There were special touches and amenities and the home was incredibly clean and comfortable. Don and Nora were wonderful hosts. They were kind and helpful and communicating was easy. We had our privacy, but if we needed something they were on it right away. The property is gorgeous and serene, yet so close to everything. The perfect situation. We enjoyed our time and would highly recommend. ❤️❤️

Nora was very friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find, extremely clean, lots of room, and plenty of comfortable beds. The pool table was quite entertaining. Beautiful property right outside of Gettysburg. Two nights was not long enough. We wanted to stay longer.

This apartment had everything we needed and more. I have never stayed at such a well-stocked VRBO property. There was an abundance of towels, blankets, and pillows. The owners thought of everything we might wish to have before we did! Plenty of coffee and creamer options and even some snacks thoughtfully provided. It was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed being conveniently located to the battlefield and town without being in the heart of the touristy areas and worrying about noise and parking issues.

You really feel like you’re in the country. It’s a beautiful area that we felt safe and away from the hustle of the city. Yet we were close enough to places like grocery stores and pharmacies. The hosts provided valuable information about the area, and we felt very welcomed by the amenities. The property was very nice, clean and roomy. It was only a 15 min drive to Gettysburg which made it nice for site seeing and visiting places. definitely would recommend this place for a weekend team retreat!

This property was perfect for our stay - it literally felt like a home away from home. The apartment (the lower level of a large ranch-style home) is huge - large bedrooms, large living rooms (including one with a pool table), large bathrooms - worlds away from staying in a hotel. It was spotless and well appointed - plenty of extra towels, blankets, dishes, etc. The "kitchen" is really a converted bar, so no oven, but it did have a full size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, etc. - definitely more than adequate for our needs. The location is excellent. It is only about 5-10 minutes to Gettysburg (depending on where you're going - downtown, to the battlefield, etc.). The patio opens onto a large field that slopes down to a far distant tree line (great place for a morning coffee while watching the hummingbirds.) The neighboring houses are similarly situated, giving it a nice, spacious, rural effect without feeling isolated. Nora is very gracious and responsive, although we really only exchanged pleasantries with her, as everything was already in place. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and would love to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Gettysburg.

The house is near our family in Gettysburg and has become our home away from home. It is a country setting but 5 minutes from downtown. Nora and Don are wonderful and very accommodating. We absolutely love the house. This was our 3rd stay at the property and will not be the last.

They greeted us soon after we arrived, and invited us to let them know if we needed anything. We are delighted to have stayed at this house.

The house was immaculate and they even left muffins, things for breakfast even granola bars that we took with us on our daily sightseeing. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. This property is beautiful! It is meticulously clean and has so many personal touches to make you feel at home. Plenty of extra blankets, towels, toiletries and snacks that make it so easy to stay here. It is spacious, private and quiet. The location is perfect, being so close to the Battlefield and the Eisenhower place, as well as grocery, restaurants, ice cream etc. and Gettysburg College. Coming back to the house at the end of a long day to soak in the surrounding beauty of fields and flowers is such a huge plus!! Watch a sunrise from the patio and enjoy a walk at sunset... this place is truly relaxing! One downside for me was no washer/dryer. Being a party of 6, I did hit the laundromat a few times but North Gettysburg Laundry is open 24/7 and so clean and reasonably priced. The bar size sink in the kitchen area and no full-size oven was a bit of a challenge but only because there were 6 of us and I was trying to save money by eating in. The hosts Don and Nora were so friendly and accommodating and our experience here was loved by all. We hope to come back as the area offers so much in history and beauty that it is hard to leave. We will definitely be recommending this property to family and friends! Thank you Don and Nora!!

The kitchen was wonderful. a stove top, microwave oven and every thing you could need to make up a great meal. We were with our grandsons, so it was mostly quick and easy things. But it is such a pleasure to move around there.
