Cairo Capital Hotel

The room was really small for 4 people. The bathroom shower was leaking everywhere. The beds were really uncomfortable and the Internet terrible. The noise from the street it’s crazy until 3-4am, impossible to rest. Breakfast was good and personnel very kind.

Staffs are super helpful and friendly. They allowed us to leave our luggages at the hotel while we went to Luxor for 3 days. The hotel is very nice and clean.

Staff were very nice. They always wanted to make sure that our needs were met and everything was ok. Breakfast was delicious. The property was clean. However there were few mosquitoes. They were in the area in general. Also the shower water leaked through the shower door. It was a bit annoying.

Bathroom is not good. Becouse water leaks out and gets cold quickly. But all of staffs is very kindly and breakfast is good.

Front desk and staff were always friendly and accommodating. The hotel needs a serious upgrade. The stairwell is dark and dirty. The lobby furniture is worn and stained. The room is scuffed and the bathroom leaks from every location. Rooms are noisy from the street. The breakfast is prepared by one overwhelmed lady. But everyone was cheerful. Location was great.

Otelin puanına aldırmayın çok kötü bir otel. Odalardaki klimalar eski ve gürültülü. Tuvaletlerde gitmeyen bir koku var. Duşlar eski ve pis. Odalarda pencere olmadığı için koku çok rahatsız edici. Kahvaltı salonu dedikleri odaların arasında bir koridor. Sabah erkenden gürültü başlıyor uyuma şansınız yok. Otelde lobideki gürültülü sohbet odalardan duyuluyor ve her saat etrafta bir gürültü var. Odalarda elbise asacak dolap yok odalar çok küçük olduğu için yalnızca 2 askılıklı bir vestiyer var. Eski ve pis bir binanın tek katında 15-20 odalı bir otel. Kesinlikle puana aldanıp benim gibi tercih etmeyin

Vänlig och hjälpsam personal! Toa/duschavloppet behövde rensas, blev översvämning i badrummet, men vi fick hjälp av personalen. Bra frukost, supertrevlig frukostpersonal.

Posizione molto comoda, ingresso del palazzo da rivedere per presenza di persone che chiedono elemosina e sembra poco sicuro. Staff dell’hotel gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ci hanno aiutati nella prenotazione di uber e dei ristoranti. Anche per la colazione ci sono venuti incontro per la scelta di cibo dolce. La camera era molto pulita. Il letto un po’ troppo duro e il bagno bisognerebbe restaurarlo (il lavandino è molto piccolo). Hotel di un grande potenziale

Very nice hotel with professional staff. Quiet place to rest and rooms are large with high ceilings and comfortable beds

Great staff, good breakfast, they made breakfast for us outside of their usual times as we had two early starts. Room was very noisy and the beds were not the most comfortable!

4泊しましたが、最初の2泊は部屋が無かったのか近くの系列ホテルThe Square Boutiqueに泊まらされました。 事前に連絡も無く、割り引きされることもありませんでした。 The Square Boutique は水回りが良くなかったです。シャワーの水圧が弱く、頻繁にお湯から水に戻り、シャワーを浴びるのが大変でした。 Cairo Capital Hotel もバスマットがビチャビチャになりましたがそれ以外は大丈夫でした。 ただ、エアコンの暖房機能が壊れていて部屋が暖まりませんでした。 立地は良いですが交通規制等でUberがなかなか来ませんでした。 Wi-Fiが使えたので問題ないですが、圏外なのが気になりました。

Excellent accueil, mais l'entrée de l'hôtel se trouve à l'étage d'un immeuble ancien, sans indication bien visible dans le hall d'entrée un peu sinistre au rez-de-chaussé. Également ma chambre était depourvue de toute fenêtre, ce qui passe pour une nuit mais pas pour un sejour plus long.

Cairo capital Hotel is excellent as long as you know what you are paying for. If you want luxury hotel suites, balcony views, room service, swimming pool… this is probably not the place for you. If you want to explore Cairo on an agreeable budget then definitely consider this hotel. Solo traveler, the room is spacious, cold air conditioner, television, fridge, coffee, hanging space for clothes with shelving, bathroom is clean, water is insanely hot, I have stayed in many cheaper hotels where they scrimp not providing hot water. This is the opposite The water is very very hot so be careful. More importantly it is clean, no bugs, clean modern furniture, clean bedding & and safe environment. There's a mix of tourists, solo travelers both male and female, Egyptian business people. Reception staff are kind and helpful, they do sell trips but I didn't find a hard sell I got some excellent advice about local restaurants & cafés, off the tourist track. Got some great advice about navigating the pyramids. Excellent location central downtown Cairo if you enjoy the hustle bustle it's a perfect location. Cairo is super safe very little crime which is refreshing, you can go take your photographs take videos in safety also the evenings are very busy with the Egyptians walking and shopping and totally safe. Yes there are a few panhandlers (nothing compared to down by the pyramids though) just be polite and firm. You can walk to the Egyptian museum, you can walk to the Nile, Giza 25 minutes

Workers in the hotel tried to scam me for simple water bottles. They were so persistent that I book tours with them only and it was not pleasant to be asked that as many times as I got asked. The room was super tiny and not the room I asked for at all. Next time I will not be coming to this hotel.

Hotel centralissimo.. le stanze abbastanza grandi e pulite per gli standard del cairo. Abbiamo avuto una spiacevole sorpresa pur avendo acquistato una stanza grande con finestre ci è stato detto che la stanza era in manutenzione e che ci avrebbero dato per una notte una stanza senza finestre.. stanza sporchissima, rumore proveniente dalla stanza accanto in cui stavano facendo delle manutenzioni (demolizione pareti) e senza nessuna finestra non ci si riusciva a girare da quanto era piccola la stanza, sporchissima.. abbiamo reclamato e improvvisamente la nostra stanza acquistata era magicamente libera..

J'avais lu des commentaires sur l'hébergement (qui a d'autres noms sur google). Je ne pensais pas que j'allais être ciblé pour cette scam. J'avais payé pour 3 nuits. Lorsque je suis arrivée, voyageur solo, ils ont dit que *ma chambre* avait des problèmes et que je devais être transférée dans un autre hotel (alors que les autres arrivant en couple pouvaient rester). La valeur de la meilleure chambre de l'hôtel imposée était de moitié. Ils ont refusé de me rembourser pour que j'aille ailleurs. J'ai négocié pendant 1h30 pour finalement avoir un remboursement partiel, sans etre la valeur perdue. J'ai contacté Expedia pour me faire rembourser. Aucun agent n'a accepté de le faire (extrêmement insatisfaite à ce niveau également). Le matin on m'a dit que j'aurais un déjeuné, je l'ai demandé 3 fois, je ne l'ai pas eu. Je suis partie sans. Dans la journée ma chambre n'a pas été nettoyé tel que mentionné qu'elle le serait. La dernière nuit un de mes amis est passé pour charger son cellulaire pendant qu'on continuait à parler. Lorsqu'il est sorti, l'homme à l'accueil est venu dans la chambre et a regardé dans le lit (en déplaçant les couvertures) pour voir si on avait eu des rapports sexuels. Mais quel culot !!!!! . Je ne recommande pas.

The hotel was hard to find and located in a very sketchy location. When I finally found the hotel, there was a sign saying the hotel was located on the next floor. We walked to the floor that it’s located on and there’s a sign saying that they were closed for renovations. The person who worked there barely acknowledged me and continued smoking his cigarette as I explained that I had a reservation. He then gets on the phone and doesn’t tell me what’s going on. Once he hung up, he told me he was sending us to another hotel. He had a teenager walk us to another hotel which was down the street in an equally sketchy location. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night. Very horrible experience.

I stayed fewer nights than booked. Had to pay upfront and was told I would be credited any money back if I checked out early. I verbally communicated with the hotel staff multiple times I would be checking out early. I sent the hotel four emails requesting a refund. No response from the hotel. Had to dispute the cost with the credit card company. Pain in the butt.

I had booked a 3-night stay for my whole family (6 people) at Cairo Capital Hotel. Upon arrival, we found out that the hotel was under renovation. Fortunately, the management took care of everything and transferred us to Tahrir Plaza Suites. It turned out to be a great experience: The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, perfect for a large family like ours. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to Marcellino and Doua for their professionalism and warm hospitality. We also appreciated the convenient location, close to downtown and many attractions in Cairo. Overall, despite the unexpected start, our stay turned out to be very positive and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and customer care.

The staff were super friendly and approachable! We had problems with one of our private tours they we pre-booked online and the staff here were super helpful in contacting them and getting it sorted! They also had a great list of tours- we actually joined one of them and loved it! The room are pretty standard but highly recommend due to the location and the staff!

Booked Cairo capital 2days before I arrived in Cairo,evening before the hotel messaged me to inform me about the shuttle service they supply from the airport On arriving at the hotel it was immediately obvious that I wouldn’t be staying there The whole hotel is being refurbished,it’s closed,it’s having a complete refurbishment Why this Is still on Expedia is baffling Stayed somewhere else

Great location supper great staff. But since it is in busy area, therefore it is noisy.

Very conveniently located. Walking distance from the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. Also close to good dining options. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent value for your money.

Es un buen lugar, para nuestra desgracia, habían obras en construcción lo que aumentó el ruido en la noche, el desayuno en realidad no fue bueno

Prima di prenotare questo hotel ho letto le recensioni di almeno altri cinquanta posti ed ero presa dallo sconforto. Cercavo un hotel che fosse relativamente in centro, che fosse pulito e che non cadesse a pezzi. Al Capital siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e cortesia. La nostra camera era pulita, di buone dimensioni e non mancava nulla. L’hotel si trova in centro, al primo piano di un palazzo. La scala non è per niente fatiscente come letto in altre recensioni, l’unica cosa che fa un po’ paura è l’ascensore ma noi abbiamo sempre usato le scale. Nonostante la posizione devo dire che di notte è abbastanza silenzioso. L’unica cosa migliorabile è la colazione. La scelta è limitata ma non è tanto questo il problema, perché il cibo è buono, preparato al momento e la signora che lo prepara molto gentile. Sarebbe il caso di anticipare l’inizio, perché le otto di mattina è tardi considerato che molte persone hanno prenotato escursioni che iniziano prima.

Está bien ubicada en el centro de la ciudad, el personal muy amable y te reciben con agua y si sales temprano del hotel se toman la molestia de preparar algo rápido de desayuno. Un punto a favor de la amabilidad. Los cuartos de 3 camas son demasiados pequeños y el espacio del baño es reducido toca entrar de lado, por lo demás una buena opción cerca de muchas cosas que te gustaran ver.

Had a great stay at Cairo Capital Hotel. The staff were amazing. No request was too much. Breakfast everyday was to a good standard. Central location, walking distance to shops and a few museums. We booked all of our activities through the hotel and we felt safe and looked after. The drivers were friendly and on time. Great value for money and had a great experience.
