First stay at a Residence Inn. We were very pleased. The accommodations and the property amenities were all great. They were cozy and high quality. Complimentary breakfast was very good. On site bar available in the evenings. Heated pool and jacuzzi and a beautiful fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

Property and staff were excellent. We had the studio apartment with King bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen area fully stocked with essentials. Pool, hot tub, grilling and outdoor dining area with adjacent but fenced off fire pit and area to play corn hole makes a nice area to play and relax. Family friendly but we went without kids and enjoyed time with other adult only couples. Rooms were quiet even with kids next door. Great free breakfast, bar area, and convenience to Sedona tourist activities, shopping, and hiking trails.

Breakfast is amazing and the menu rotates each day. Pool and hot tub is clean and well maintained. There is a gym with sufficient equipment and is also very clean. Customer service was great and will definitely return. Great location too, many restaurants down the road and great views of the red rocks. Parking is extra but lots of spacea available. Housekeeping is every second day.

Two night stay- overall very pleasant and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The room wasn’t cleaned after the first night stay. We weren’t sure if this was normal if we didn’t request it. The complementary breakfast was good and better than the average complementary breakfast.

Housekeeping could do better with cleaning floors, shower floors, bathroom floors, all handles front of cabinets, dishes\silverware in suite, carpet could use a deep clean, and all furniture in room. Lighting along outside property was broken or not working Staff could be less loud including housekeeping as well as doors. If you are looking to not be disturbed or have anxiety highly recommend earplugs as doors are heavy & slam extremely loud. Overall good place for a nice getaway.

The property itself is placed in the middle of some gorgeous views and it also felt very modern. Nice touch to have the room so separated, with a seperate kitchen, living and then your bed and shower. I did have a huge stain of dog pee next to my side of the bed and I didn't bring a dog. Closet door was also locked? So I couldn't hang any of my nice entire. And the fan is really loud when it turns on so hopefully you aren't a light sleeper. All in all, the best service came from the chefs making the food in the morning. They have a set menu but a family wanted waffles and by the next morning, they were in the kitchen. They really tried to make you feel welcomed and always started your day with smiles and great service. The desks staff on the other hand could use some work. If their mean glares don't scare you from talking to them, the attitudes for asking questions just might. You don't need to make people feel incompetent for asking a simple question about check out.

Facilities were top notch, well tended and as promised. Room condition/kitchen was great. Breakfast was subpar — much different from my recollection of stays at other Res Inns across the country. Room cleaning staff did not clean or replenish room during five night stay, planned for six, but left a night early to stay at another hotel because I couldn’t lose another night of sleep from the noise of the guests in the adjoining room. Won’t be back.

Stayed for 6 nights recently. First, the good: service was great, A/C efficient and fantastic breakfast. We wanted a place that had a kitchen and it suited our needs perfectly. The bad: All the smaller suites face the pool area which also has several patios/grill areas. We had to listen to loud groups and screaming kids every evening while trying to relax and sleep. Stay on the outer perimeter if you can afford it! They also charge a small fortune for parking a car, and I would have booked elsewhere if I had noticed that earlier.

Loved the cleanliness and views this hotel offered. The breakfast was wonderful with many options to choose from. The only complaint would be the mattress on the pull out sofa was not comfortable at all. You could feel the frame of the sofa underneath and it was very saggy. Overall the room was wonderful and very accommodating for us.

The WiFi wasn’t great and we were like on the lowest floor so it was hard to get service. The people at the front desk seemed like they didn’t know what was going on…I called before we arrived to the hotel because it was around noon to see if there were any rooms available for early check in and the lady who answered said there were quite a few rooms available and to come on in! When we got there the same lady I’d spoken to on the phone asked how she could help us and I said we were checking in and she’s like “it’s early, check in isn’t until 4pm” and I’m like “I just called and spoke to you and you said there were quite a few rooms available…” then she got us check in…then in the middle of getting us checked in, a guy working comes out and she’s like “can you open that room, I need to look at the cameras” super strange and unprofessional in our opinion. When I went to check out, I told the man working that we were checking out because it was around 7am and he seemed super confused…it took him roughly 10 minutes to give me a print out of the parking receipt? Which had been emailed to me that morning already…other than that, the room was nice and clean

We thought it was ok, but our room was noisy. We had pounding outside, kids hitting the walls and screaming, then the person above dropping things on the floor. We were tired from flying and being up since 2:30am ET flying to AZ. It was not relaxing and quiet to get rested up. Told them on check out and they said we should have asked for a quiet room and we could have called. Well, we were so tired we did not want to deal with it, and understand kids can be noisy, but the building should have been somewhat more soundproof. There was no sound proofing.

The staff here are all amazing: kind, helpful and attentive. Breakfast each day was delicious and varied with items for different food needs. The pool area was pleasant without any traffic noise. We loved the proximity to hiking and biking trails and would stay here again! One nice surprise was when a marching band practices at the school field and we could hear them from the pool!

Everything about the property was lovely, except for the initial check-in experience. I felt discriminated and treated differently for sure. I noticed a completely different tone of voice compared to how the previous guest was treated. As someone who travels frequently, experiencing something like this feels disappointing and unprofessional, there is no need to go into details, but I wish the best to that employee despite her childish behavior. That said, the property itself is amazing, and the breakfast manager was exceptional—so courteous and attentive, which made for a very pleasant experience. Overall, this is still a great place to stay.

On the outer edge of West Sedona but within distance of shopping, grocery store and dining. Very clean throughout. The staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive. Had an issue with a noise from the a/c in our room at 9:00 pm. Maintenance was there to fix within 5 minutes! I highly recommend this hotel.

Very unfortunate experience with front office staff on a Saturday. We had been given a handicapped access room as they said they were full up ( fair) but when we went to ask for a full ironing table and a portable full-size mirror, they declined any help, openly lied to us, threatened to have us thrown out. Never have we encountered anything like this. The front office staff on the Monday were more polite. But we are simply shocked that an iconic company like Marriott can per It behavior like that of Saturday in the hospitality industry. Happy to talk more on this

Our stay was uncomfortable, I was intimidated by Vicky, front desk counter! Vicky told me their rooms were all one size, she didnt let me change my accommodations, which I found out that evening there were different ones! Spoke to (Sonny) asst. general mgr. was friendly. said she had lack of communication, also was charged for parking 25.00 a day (3) I shouldn’t had to pay for parking!

Overcharging charging pet fees twice no boundaries entered my room without permission twice when two signs of do not disturb and pet sign on the door.Traumatized my cat and mold and toxic chemicals in the vent when turned on.We paid over 500$per night and left unwell.

Hotel and staff are great. The hotel is a 10 min drive to the centre of Sedona and we had to rely on Uber which stoops at about 8:30pm. That means eating within walking distance is not really an option. Parking is $18 per day, which we knew. The Sedona Trail Bus pick up is across the street which is nice. Views were great. Pool and pool area was great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel pristine condition. I walked into Sedona however it is about 2 miles so anyone who’s not fit would need to drive. The views and surrounding area are stunning. I’m keen to return to Sedona and would like to stay here again.

Would not stay here again. You have to pay $25 a day for parking and it’s way out of town, no restaurants nearby and no restaurant in hotel. Room was so smelly we had to change rooms. The pull out bed was the worst we’ve ever seen and we use pull out beds a lot. Pool was nothing special. No views. Breakfast was ok.

Beautiful area/property on the edge of West Sedona. Being on the outskirts of the city allowed for easier movement in and out of the property, a faster route through Cottonwood, and better views of the mountains. The property is gorgeous and laid out for easy access to all buildings. It was evident that the property does its best to be accessible to all persons by indicating accessible pathways, deaf room options, and plenty of handicap parking spots. The room itself was spacious, well laid-out, and contained everything I could need during my stay. The bed was super comfortable and made for several great nights of sleep away from home. The team members on site were knowledgeable of the area and happy to help in any and every way possible.

It is just far enough outside of the main part of town that it seems quieter. Great location next to a trail shuttle stop and the Red Rock Loop rd. Fully equipped kitchenette with frig, microwave and dishwasher. I would stay here again

I like the extra room provided by a Residence Inn - it is always convenient to have the extra living space and kitchen counter, sink, fridge, etc. This particular Residence Inn is located a bit far from the main area of Sedona, but as long as you have a car, that is not a problem at all. The exercise room was nice and the equipment was in good shape. The things that were disappointing were: upon check in, the night time host was unable to find a list of rainy day activities (which they do have) so she said she would ask the morning host to find it and provide it to me. When I asked again in the morning, the morning host had not been informed that it was requested. However, she was able to locate and print the paper for me. The host who was at the counter when I checked out provided some incorrect information to me as well, which wouln't have been a big deal, except that it cost me a half hour of time. Related to my room: The shower floor and the rim around the base of the shower could use a solid cleaning. This particular room had 2 large windows, but both faced a wall that was approximately 5 feet from the window, so we didn't get good light. Request a room that doesn't face a wall. My only other comment is about Sedona area in general. Keep an eye on the weather. When there is rain, expect flood warnings. Plan to adjust your itinery and go elsewhere that is more safe, without the risk of flash floods.

Wonderful facility. Polite staff. Breakfast was good but a lot of carb based foods. Wish there were more strait protein options. Wasn’t happy about the price for parking either. That was a surprise. $25/ night to park in the parking lot?? That’s ridiculous.
