Loved all the games available in the finished basement! (Pool, Air Hockey and even some retro bowling and golf) hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. Didn’t use the fire pit as planned but was still nice to have available. Host responded to any concern or issue at hand with haste. Had all amenities you could ask for and then some! Overall had a great small getaway with friends and family and wouldn’t mind staying here again!

Rooms are spacious and property is beautiful. Internet works well as does the A/C. Here are some of our complaints: The basement game room was cold and moldy. The hot tub heater did not work. An upstairs window was wide open and could not be shut. One toilet was clogged. It is a good property, but it needs attention.

Spacious cabin with fun things to do. Firepit, pool table, and hot tub. Lots of places to sleep. Very cozy. Quiet area with lots of trees. Would recommend.

This was a great property to stay at. The location is very easy to find. It is about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills state park but a very easy drive. The house was wonderful. Very clean had lots of kitchen things to use. The hot tub was great. The toy room was a great bonus for the younger kids and the games in the basement were awesome.

This was a long weekend trip for my husband, me, 3 adult daughters, 2 husbands & 2 grandkids. We had a great time! Used the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, air hockey, & playground all provided at the cabin! So many things to do within just a few miles: Hiking, trails for our OHV, shopping, flea market & antiques shops! Elizabeth gave us a tour of the large cabin & was quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much & plan to make this an annual family event!

Check in was very easy. The property was just as described and the whole family loved the cabin accommodations. It was the perfect location for us just north of Hocking Hills. The Christmas decorations and goodies were a wonderful surprise. The weather was just warm enough for the kids (3,6) to enjoy the swings and gym set. The bigger kids played basketball outside and pool/billiards inside. It was a great place for some quality family time. The kitchen was stocked with plenty: a Kurig and regular coffee pot, a crockpot, an instant pot - we (11-15) made all our meals. We only found we needed more utensils and stopped at Walmart for plastic ware. It’s just a short hop to all the hiking trails. A great place for lots of family fun.

We had an ok stay. The hot tub heater did not work which others have mentioned so seems to be a recurring problem. This was a big disappointment as our group was looking forward to using the hot tub as the days were mostly rainy and gloomy and prevented much hiking or other outdoor activities. The kitchen needs more pots, pans, and plates. Hot water kept going in and out during showers. Overall a bit disappointed. On the plus side the games in the basement were great for the kids and the owner was responsive and allowed us to have a late checkout as we had a disabled family member with us that needed extra time in the morning, which was much appreciated. But we wouldn't stay here again

We had 9 adults, 1 teenager, 2 little kids and 2 dogs. This was the perfect place for us, plenty of room, had a blast with the games and the bonfire pit. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive awat but we felt like we were secluded in the woods. It's a very private, beautiful property.

We ran into a few minor snags but Elizabeth (the host) was so great to work with. The outside play area & the basement rec area is amazing, all the kids loved it. We brought their bikes & they had a blast using the long paved driveway to ride. Inside is lovely, lots of room for everyone. Some of the beds are moveable cots so we used those for the kiddos & it worked out great. The hot tub was awesome, loved the lights. Even with 12 people we didn’t struggle with the hot water level for showers/baths at all. There’s both a Keurig & a regular coffee maker, it’s nice to have a choice. Tip: Bring your own firewood for the fire pit, detergent for your laundry & your own paper towels/napkins/paper plates. All in all it was a perfect choice of a cabin for our week in Hocking Hills!

This cabin is tucked away from the main road offering lots of privacy. There was adequate space for all of us to have our own bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for a group of 6. We found the house to be clean and tidy, including the hot tub which we enjoyed. We loved having a Keurig for coffee and the kitchen was well equipped with dishes/glasses/silverware and cooking items. Beds were comfortable. Our only negatives were that the furniture in the main living room creaks and seemed kind of old and dated/about to break? And the dishwasher didn't really seem to work but the hostess said she might replace that when I communicated that it didn't seem to be getting the dishes clean. Overall she was easy to communicate with, responded about any problems (even offered to let us stay at the house past check-out if we needed to!) and we had a great time in the Hocking Hills. I would recommend this cabin for a large group!

The "cabin" is beautiful. LOTS of wood everywhere you look and very nicely done. (excluding the basement). A quiet and secluded setting for a get away to spend time with those you love. Clean and ready when we arrived. Some of the appliances, furniture and lighting was not as well done as other aspects of the place. But the price was great and our stay was enjoyed by all.

This is a beautiful cabin that is not maintained. There is a lot of garbage stacked around and throughout the house. weeds landscaping all overgrown including poison Ivy growing near the basket ball hoop. Mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. Owner said they have traps poison outside but didn't clean the mess they made inside.

Cabin was great cabin was clean. The house was very respectful and very helpful. We will be back again. Thank you.

Very good for families with children. Tiny bit of an issue with water pressure when everyone was trying to get ready in the morning. Inside very clean. Outside was good, but maybe a power wash? Overall, a great stay. Host was very responsive. Easy check in.

House is easy to find, not far from Lancaster! Plenty of beds in the house. Communication with home owner was prompt and easy. Water for showers was hot and cold, hot and cold through the whole shower. Property could use a little upkeep and the house was not the cleanest. Overall the stay was not bad for the price of the cabin.

Light in up stair in restroom not working,celling fan on 3rd floor not working,all the cars got scratched from the tree's not being trimmed upon entry, back deck dirty had to clean off before use,pit area in back not usable chairs and cushions wet and dirty.only 2 wash clothes were available.paid to much for the place to have not been able to enjoy the stay. Had to go on a man hunt for pots and pans not organized at all. Need a full make over.was charged 900 dollar extra for guest over 6 because i didnt change my guest count.which i forgot but surely didnt think it would matter being that the property held 16 guest. Will i stay here again no.

The bathroom in the basement had quite a bit of mold on it. The basement could use carpeting. We spent quite a bit of time there with having little ones, it has a nice play set outside; however, the lawn hadn’t been mowed for quite some time. I would not recommend this house to any of my friends.

I want to start by saying that our family, which included 4 generations, had a great weekend spending time together. We enjoyed the area and the amenities the home offered. For us the devil was in the details with this home. We specifically looked for 6 bedroom homes, this one, although listed as a 6 bedroom is a 5 bedroom with a sleeping loft. (We learned that a loft can be listed as a bedroom per VRBO but did not feel it was clear in the listing, maybe my fault for not reading better or asking more questions.) And 1 of the bedrooms has a glass door and open window (no glass) to the open room below, so no sound barrier. There were not enough coffee cups for our group and only 3/4 drinking glasses. The oven was so dirty we did not use it, the toaster worked but was broken, the dishwasher was not attached to the cupboard and tipped out when opened (but it did work). The blender lid was broken but the owner had a new one shipped overnight knowing it was something we had asked for (which was much appreciated!) When we reported these and several other issues the owner did offer to come the next day and fix the things that could be taken care of, however due to napping babies and planned outings we did decline. It was close enough to go to Hocking Hills for a day, we found a fantastic children's museum in Lancaster that our toddler's really enjoyed. We would not choose to stay again. For us we did not feel we got a good product for the , however the family time was precious.

Elizabeth does a very good job of communicating. The cleaners do a fair job of cleaning. There were many cobwebs in the basement bedroom. The kitchen has many appliances but is chaotic and there is not enough silverware or flatware for a large party. Plan to wash the dishwasher after each meal. The cabin sleeps many. Please realize there is only 1 bathroom on each floor. The space suited our needs. The location is amazing and the price is decent.

Our entire family, well minus a few, came and enjoyed the wife open spaces inside and out. Nicely done for Christmas. It was warm and inviting. Plenty of space for all of us. The noise level was high with the wide open spaces as well, but not overwhelming. We enjoyed walks through the woods. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for our older two, and the upstairs accomodated our younger members perfectly with 3 sleeping in the large basement bedroom. The location of the house is great, too. It is close to Lancaster where we enjoyed Rising Park, and not too far from Hocking Hills State Park where we enjoyed hiking! Overall, this house was wonderful for our family. Everything went perfectly. Plenty of room for our large family, lot's to do, every amenity we could want. Elizabeth communicated every step of the way, making the trip less stressful because we didn't have to guess about anything. She even left her tree up for our gift exchange. My older kids went out and explored the area (antiquing, etc.) and had a great time. Cannot thank Elizabeth enough for how blessed our family felt to gather together in her home.

We rented this property to spend Thanksgiving with our adult children. The host was very responsive and helpful. My only recommendation would be for blankets on the beds in addition to the quilts during cold weather. Would definitely recommend!.

We booked this vabin and arrived. Only ro find out the owner doubled booked the property. Told us she will put us in a different cabin which was a dump. Told us we were an inconvenience to her although she was the one that double booked. AWFUL communication and very snobby lady. Please look elsewhere and save yourself from a headache. Our whole first day was ruined because the 2nd cabin was another hour away. Wasnt even clean when we got there!

Was looking for a place where ten of us could get out of the city and have a fun weekend catching up. The location, both the house and it's proximity to Hocking Hills, was exactly what we needed.

Nice cabin in the country. Property is very private, you don’t even know that there are nearby homes. Very nice location not far from Hocking Hills.

Our friend group of 11 had a lovely stay here. The host was so nice and welcoming, she even left us cookies! There was plenty of space for us all and enough for us to do even with a rainy day. It’s a very pretty area and is close to many fun things! We drove to Ash cave and it was about 35 minutes. Definitely worth the drive! We hope to visit again soon!

Group of 15 - good room arrangement/kitchen could handle multiple cooks - needs pot and pan upgrade and more plates and flatware/nice secluded space/minor maintenance issues/teens loved the game room in basement. Bit of a drive to HH State Park(30 min)/grocery was an easy drive away. Love log cabins - 3 pushng 4 stars.

This beautiful cabin style house was exactly what was needed for our group. It had many options to enjoy a such fun relaxing stay in Ohio. Had more than enough beds, spacious bedrooms, hot tub was relaxing, a huge yard and the shaded area made a perfect peaceful fall weekend. Our dog Brew had a fun weekend too. A tiny water issue had happened during our stay but Elizabeth was more than happy to get it fixed within hours. The house could use a couple more dishes and upgraded pots and pans. Thank you so much Elizabeth again for opening up your home to us! Definitely loved the house it was beautiful it was our little home for the weekend.
