My friends and I like to reunite every few years with our growing families, and this was the perfect place. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around in, comfortable bedrooms, and it was pretty close to several hikes and town. Amenities were great - we all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fire pit, and the kids especially loved the ping pong table! Place was clean and covered all our needs. We're already talking about booking again!

Booked a weekend in early April to celebrate a 70th birthday. Entry was simple and hosts were very responsive. There was more than enough room for our family of 20 to come together but have space when needed. We didn’t have small children with us but some of the moms did notice some areas where we’d have been concerned if our kids were still very young. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone with very young children to be aware of. Would book again, especially in warmer months so we could take advantage of the pool. The hot tub was nice and warm though. We also enjoyed having two fire pits.

Our family get together of 22 over Thanksgiving found the property spacious and inviting. With seven children 7 and under, their parents, and their parents; there was plenty of kitchen space for food preparation and serving, adult and children space for entertainment, and outdoor space for play, walking and exercise. The proximity to Lancaster was great for shopping, restaurants and bars. Although there was a malfunctioning thermostat for the downstairs HVAC, the response on a holiday by the owner and his HVAC contractor was unbelievably timely. We made use of the dual downstairs TV’s for viewing the OSU-Michigan game with ample seating space for our large group. A number of attendees used both the hot tub and the sauna with me, personally, using both every morning. The pool, understandably, was seasonally covered. For our large family group, the property was very comfortable. Its central location was accessible for our driving from four states. We will strongly consider it for coming get togethers.

We recently stayed at Valhalla hills for a joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend for my partner and myself with our friends to celebrate our upcoming wedding! We had an amazing time - we enjoyed the outdoors while playing games on the property, spent some time in the pool and hot tub, and generally enjoyed the spacious accommodations! The location is so scenic and the house is such a gorgeous and unique space! Justin and Hilary were easy to contact and very responsive. We would definitely consider coming back in the future!

We rented this house for a bachelorette and had an excellent weekend. The host was quick to respond and very accomadating to our group. The house was perfectly located near a town and close to popular hikes. Great amenities, we loved the sauna and hot tub! Highly recommend for any large group.

We had about 20 people here for two nights for a work retreat. Everyone was really happy with the quality of the mattress and bedding. The little things make all the difference. We used the media room for a presentation and game night. It was perfect. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and there was someone at the house within an hour fixing the problem. A place this large will always have issues but when you have owners like this property it gets fixed VERY quickly. We were able to relax and recharge in this beautiful home. The layout is also super interesting and a good mix of modern/cabin. We wish the main kitchen and dining table were bigger but that was our only tweak. We will be back again next year!

This beautiful house hosted me, my family and our extended family. The layout was perfect for us! We had areas to all be together as well as areas of privacy. The house is filled with lots of homey conveniences (Alexa devices, a variety of games, extras you may have forgotten, large beach towels, and many other amenities). The pool was perfect for kids and adults. The hot tub was amazing! The hosts were great- they quickly responded when we had a question and check in and checkout were super easy. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Our family had a wonderful 6 night stay to celebrate Christmas together. Multiple generations came together in this lovely space. We had lots of elementary and middle school aged children and they loved playing pool and ping pong not to mention the sleeping loft and bunk room. The multiple kitchens were great for meal prep and the were well stocked for a large group. The 3 ovens were key for us cooking Christmas Dinner. The house was clean and well prepared for our visit. Check in and check out were very smooth. Communication with the owners was top notch, they provided quick communication back to us responding within an hour or less. It was a lovely stay.

We had 8 couples get together for the weekend, and this was the perfect spot for us. So much space, multiple living areas, more than enough beds, and lots of things to do. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna during the chilly weekend. Super unique spot, would definitely recommend.

We rented this property with family members from Ohio to celebrate my son's graduation. It was truly a magical weekend and a fantastic place to celebrate. The pool and hot tub were pristine, the weather was perfect. The management were extremely responsive and helped correct a water issue within minutes of checking in. We all hope to gather again next year at Valhalla!

This cabin is beautiful and the pictures can't explain how big this cabin is. We took a family vacation to this cabin and everyone was in awe. The cabin was clean, dishes and utensils fully stocked (blenders, tons of bowls, extra tables and chairs ready to be put up, coffee makers etc.)Everything great, accommodations amazing, the only thing we struggled with was the cabin getting hot upstairs during the day, but the temps outside were real feel 110 outside and the sun was shining on the windows, so its no fault to the cabin or owner. The owner stayed in contact and gave us updates on the way. Contactless check in giving as much privacy as youre wanting! We would absolutely stay again if the family chose to do another getaway.

Not only is it beautiful and super unique, but it also had SO much space/room for us to hang out and spend time together. It's also always hard to find a place to accommodate sleeping arrangements for large groups and this allowed us all to have our own bed! The hosts also left a super cute note with a wonderful little care package which is a great personal touch! Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

Our extended family met together here for the Easter weekend, and it was a perfect fit for us. There was a large enough area to share meals together, but still all the space we needed to sprawl. The kids had fun exploring the property, playing pool and chilling in the tv game room. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, and the two kitchens came in handy. We booked it because of all the room, and the proximity to good hiking. Great place, and would definitely recommend it!

The house is very large with plenty of room for large groups. We had 11 adults and 6 children ages 3-17. All of the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The bathrooms (6) are all big as well. It’s in a relatively secluded area but only 30 minutes or so to Laurelville where we went horseback riding. The pool is only 3’ deep which was a little disappointing for the bigger kids and adults. We ran into a couple of snags, the hot water handle in a lower level bathroom wasn’t working and one of the sliding doors in the game room didn’t lock and the handle was broken. We had a great stay at Valhalla. The place is massive with lots places to gather and hang out. We drove to nearby hiking spots as the yard is not really conducive. Outdoor fire pit was a hit. We used both kitchens as needed to feed our big crew. Thanks!

Everything about the property was amazing! The layout perfectly accommodated what we had in store for the weekend. Very clean, more than enough space for our large group, and scenic doesn’t even begin to describe it. Will definitely keep them in mind for future gatherings!

Awesome property. Plenty of space to hang around with lots of guests. Great place to go and get away from it all. It’s also a nice property if you have a lot of couples - plenty of private rooms with king beds. Would definitely go again.

This cabin is beautiful and the pictures can't explain how big this cabin is. We took a family vacation to this cabin and everyone was in awe. The cabin was clean, dishes and utensils fully stocked (blenders, tons of bowls, extra tables and chairs ready to be put up, coffee makers etc.)Everything great, accommodations amazing, the only thing we struggled with was the cabin getting hot upstairs during the day, but the temps outside were real feel 110 outside and the sun was shining on the windows, so its no fault to the cabin or owner. The owner stayed in contact and gave us updates on the way. Contactless check in giving as much privacy as youre wanting! We would absolutely stay again if the family chose to do another getaway.

We rented this house for a bachelorette and had an excellent weekend. The host was quick to respond and very accomadating to our group. The house was perfectly located near a town and close to popular hikes. Great amenities, we loved the sauna and hot tub! Highly recommend for any large group.

We had about 20 people here for two nights for a work retreat. Everyone was really happy with the quality of the mattress and bedding. The little things make all the difference. We used the media room for a presentation and game night. It was perfect. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and there was someone at the house within an hour fixing the problem. A place this large will always have issues but when you have owners like this property it gets fixed VERY quickly. We were able to relax and recharge in this beautiful home. The layout is also super interesting and a good mix of modern/cabin. We wish the main kitchen and dining table were bigger but that was our only tweak. We will be back again next year!

This beautiful house hosted me, my family and our extended family. The layout was perfect for us! We had areas to all be together as well as areas of privacy. The house is filled with lots of homey conveniences (Alexa devices, a variety of games, extras you may have forgotten, large beach towels, and many other amenities). The pool was perfect for kids and adults. The hot tub was amazing! The hosts were great- they quickly responded when we had a question and check in and checkout were super easy. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Our family had a wonderful 6 night stay to celebrate Christmas together. Multiple generations came together in this lovely space. We had lots of elementary and middle school aged children and they loved playing pool and ping pong not to mention the sleeping loft and bunk room. The multiple kitchens were great for meal prep and the were well stocked for a large group. The 3 ovens were key for us cooking Christmas Dinner. The house was clean and well prepared for our visit. Check in and check out were very smooth. Communication with the owners was top notch, they provided quick communication back to us responding within an hour or less. It was a lovely stay.

My friends and I like to reunite every few years with our growing families, and this was the perfect place. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around in, comfortable bedrooms, and it was pretty close to several hikes and town. Amenities were great - we all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fire pit, and the kids especially loved the ping pong table! Place was clean and covered all our needs. We're already talking about booking again!

We recently stayed at Valhalla hills for a joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend for my partner and myself with our friends to celebrate our upcoming wedding! We had an amazing time - we enjoyed the outdoors while playing games on the property, spent some time in the pool and hot tub, and generally enjoyed the spacious accommodations! The location is so scenic and the house is such a gorgeous and unique space! Justin and Hilary were easy to contact and very responsive. We would definitely consider coming back in the future!

We picked this site for a central US location for a 50 year college reunion. Property near Hocking Hills met our expectations. The multitude of bedroom, beds plus 2 kitchens and multiple congregation areas made this a great place for large groups. Was also a peaceful quiet area.

This place was perfect - plenty of bedrooms and many "living spaces" for people to spread out and have quiet time and or fun and games. Hosts were VERY good with communication. Would stay here again for sure. Only reason I gave it 3 stars for neighborhood as there was really nowhere to walk/hike within walking distance but otherwise great place. Hoping to go back as we just enjoyed being in the cabin!

The house was all we expected and more. Cool architecture, lots of sleeping arrangements, two kitchens, fire pit, hot tub and pool/ping pong kept 3 generations of our family busy and having fun. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back again.

Our family get together of 22 over Thanksgiving found the property spacious and inviting. With seven children 7 and under, their parents, and their parents; there was plenty of kitchen space for food preparation and serving, adult and children space for entertainment, and outdoor space for play, walking and exercise. The proximity to Lancaster was great for shopping, restaurants and bars. Although there was a malfunctioning thermostat for the downstairs HVAC, the response on a holiday by the owner and his HVAC contractor was unbelievably timely. We made use of the dual downstairs TV’s for viewing the OSU-Michigan game with ample seating space for our large group. A number of attendees used both the hot tub and the sauna with me, personally, using both every morning. The pool, understandably, was seasonally covered. For our large family group, the property was very comfortable. Its central location was accessible for our driving from four states. We will strongly consider it for coming get togethers.

This property & the amenities greatly exceeded our expectations - very spacious & functional for our large group. The cooking & dining areas surpassed our needs for our group of 20 adults and children. All of the amenities were exceptional - we will be planning a return trip.
