Modern Midtown Carriage House -Free Parking

Enjoyed our stay at the Modern Midtown Carriage House. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and the house was located in a great part of Atlanta that I felt safe in, esp with walking to restaurants. A few things to note for people who care about these things: the bed was definitely a harder memory foam mattress, so if a hard bed isn’t your thing, keep that in mind. They did offer 2 fans, one box fan and one small table top fan, which immediately made my husband happy with that. As for parking: free parking right next to the carriage house, but it’s quite tight to get into, so if you have a bigger car, that may be a challenge. But street parking is an option also, although very hard to find as every spot was taken on the street. Joseph was great with communication, offering recommendations of nearby stores or restaurants, and one other thing we enjoyed is minimal duties for check out. Mainly just clean up after yourselves and you’re good to go! If we were back in Atlanta, we’d definitely book this place again.

This was truly a perfect place to stay while in Atlanta. The hosts were very quick to respond and communicative. The space is beautiful, cozy and quiet. I would gladly stay here again.

This property has a great location and is very aesthetically pleasing. We made sure the listing stated the property does not allow pets before booking as my husband has a severe cat allergy. When we went to bed, we noticed cat hair on the cushions of the pull-out. Within an hour of laying down, my husband was hit with an allergic reaction to the cat hair. The property owner confirmed a cat had been allowed on property just a few guests prior, and that pets are allowed on a case by case basis. Owner was polite, and ensured the property listing would be changed to reflect the possibility of pets - which is great for future guests, but didn’t really do anything to help our particular situation. It would have been nice if a partial refund had been offered, given the circumstances. Overall, the unit is beautiful and easily accessible, but our experience was heavily affected in a negative manner due to a misleading property description.

We really enjoyed our stay in Atlanta. The home was as described and close to Midtown restaurants, museums, parks. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t as beautiful as we had hoped, but being from New England, we’re very used to changing patterns! Joseph was great communicating with us and attentive to any questions. It was a short trip but definitely wonderful!
