Fancy 1-BR in Central Location Parking available

Upon arrival the back gate slammed shut into our new car causing considerable damage to our vehicle. Then our code would not work to open the lock to get into the house. After 1 hour the door was remotely opened for us. I went back and forth with property manager for another hour to make sure we had a code that would allow us access during our stay. He kept sending us the same instructions many times that did not work. Finally, we called the main office of the rental. I was told after 30 more minutes that the codes were overloaded in the lock and had to be reset. Took 2 hours to get this lock issue rectified. The next day we found out that there was a tech coming to fix the ice machine that we weren't told about until 45 minutes before he arrived. With this we missed our first tour because we couldn't leave our pup in the house with a stranger coming in.We rented for 8 days, the unit was not prepared for a long term renter:2 coffee cups, 4 bowls, 3 glasses, 3 wine glasses, 3 salad plates and one large plate. We were constantly having to wash dishes to keep them up. 1 good frying pan (other 2 had buildup on them), 1/4 full of a 'small' dish soap bottle (for 8 days), Kuerig leaked (needed constant wipe down), no cleaning supplies. Fire and police dept across the street, constant alarms all night. Exterior littered.I was asked if there was anything special we would like during our stay. I asked for Christmas decorations, there were none.Horrible Stay!!!!

Loved our stay here ! Very charming and cute. 10 min to subway and convenient. Loved all the Washington photos in the house. Only thing we missed was a VCR,a blender and you could use more dishes and glasses... but otherwise it was totally great. The extra parking spot was so appreciated. Overall we loved it !! Barb

My partner and I just spent the past 5 days at this spot and it was great! It's only a couple miles from the national mall and is perfect if you'd like to walk or bike to the Capitol and all the museums. Owners were immediately responsive to any messages we sent, they were very descriptive in instructions on how to access the property, and even gave us the access details to the on-site parking while we were in the middle of DC traffic en route to the site! If you're ever looking for a place to stay while in DC either as a work-trip or a vacation like ours, we'd recommend giving this spot a good look! We're glad we did :)

The property was great - very clean. Plenty of room for a couple. It was just me for a work trip, so I did not spend any time there during the day. I had to check in/arrive late at night, and it was very hard to see where to retrieve the key and use it to unlock two doors to the apartment. Once in, I felt better doing it the second night, but still needs better lighting outside. The only thing that's good to know is there is no door to the bedroom - it opens to the living area. Again, plenty of room w/a living room, bedroom w/desk and work area, spacious bathroom, and kitchen with bar. The property owner/manager was very responsive.
