Extended stay property with on site laundry and exercise equipment. The room had lingering smell of men's cologne or deodorant, normally wouldn't be an issue but my wife is sensitive to scents. Although the property is non-smoking inside the smoking areas are right outside the entrance doors, convenient for smokers not for non-smokers, also cigarette and marijuana smells do find their way into the building. Location is conveniently located right off the freeway and is close to McDonald's and a well stocked gas station. Google lists the property as a two star hotel, I would agree.

The hotel is generally clean and in fair condition. However, there were some specific elements about the 'extended stay' aspect that I was not expecting, as guests booking a single night on a road trip. There were only 2 towels in our room, for 3 guests in 2 beds. Not a huge deal, but awkward. The wifi required login, and it's possible that we missed some detail but it appeared to require payment (not free). There were noisy people all over the place, with crying kids and barking dogs, likely due to the extended stay situation. Booking through a third party requires that you sign paperwork and clarify the rate the booking site provided, which was a confusing start to our late check-in. There are no options for late checkout unless you wish to pay extra through a process of being checked and rebooked (again, 3rd party complication). The kitchen is nice and there is a full sized fridge. All in all - I think the hotel is perfectly comfortable for a longer stay. I wouldn't book again for a single night.

This is an extended stay hotel that does not provide any kitchen items such as a pot or pan to utilize the hot plate, no plate or silverware, no hand towel, dish cloth or detergent to wash any kitchen items, or the counter. The restroom was also lacking in basic supplies, 1/4 roll of tissue with no extra, no kleenex, hand soap. Housekeeping is on a 2 week rotation which is usually fine but you are expected to take your garbage out to their dumpsters when needed, They only will trade out towels if you bring down your dirty and pick up clean. I have stayed in extended stay hotels in the past and have never had to go buy the basics that I feel should be included in the price. Paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, spray disinfectant, paper plates, plastic cutlery, etc.

The rooms were disgusting one smelled like human urine and feces. We left the property after 10 minutes.

The check-in girl was very nice and helpful. I was very disappointed in this hotel for the price I paid, but guess I must be spoiled by other Choice properties. There was no breakfast, no ice machine. The guy at checkout was brusque and unfriendly. The hotel was very noisy, with traffic noise and people in the rooms next door and the hallways. I will not choose a Woodspring property again. There was a cube of butter left in the refrigerator, so I counted that as a win.
