Very clean hotel with spacious rooms & comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and we were assured by staff it was a safe area for our overnight stay. They do have an outdoor pool. It looked very clean but we didn’t actually get to use it because we were only staying overnight on our way through. They also serve a complimentary breakfast but we checked out prior to serving time. My kids were wishing we could stay longer than just one night!

Arrived at 3:15 to check in. Room was not ready until 3:50 causing us to be late to event. No ice machine on second floor or I could not find and had to go to first floor for it.

We saw people playing in the pool early in the day so decided to go in the evening at 6. I took my family to the pool then went to the front desk for towels. When I got back to the pool my keycard didn’t work. The hotel staff came to tell us the pool was closed. There was no signage posted anywhere nor did she inform us at check in. On check out day when we tried to use our keycard around 9am it wasn’t working, check out is at 12pm. We checked out over a week ago and we still haven’t received the deposit back.

My stay at the Springhill suites was lovely . However , I was a little disappointed that the pool was" Closed for the season" . I've never heard of such a thing at a hotel. It was pretty hit would be nice to go swimming. Other than that a hotel was Clean, Safe and well situated.

The hotel itself and the staff was amazing. HOWEVER, we are discovering bites all over our body right after leaving. This hotel has bed bugs. I’m so sad about it because that’s gross and it was such a nice hotel.

Placed on first floor at the outer end. Very nice room, but when people came in/out slamming doors, yelling & laughing, it was quite noisy. If we stay again, will try a higher floor. Or, perhaps we’re staying at the wrong hotel for a quiet experience.

Our stay was awesome , the room was amazing loved the way it was designed even the bathroom I was blown away how expensive it all looked and how clean it was from the second we opened the door to our room . The staff at the from desk was amazing the second we walked through the front door to check in. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you happen to visit Slidell , LA

The layout of the room and where everything was located was very odd. Wide frosted glass doors made the occupants inside the room uncomfortable seeing silhouette’s of people as they stepped from the shower and moved around in the bathroom. The bathroom was VERY narrow and had a very small counter.

The lady who checked us in took the time to show us some of the handicapped equipped rooms to make sure that they had what we needed. This helped us pick the right one. This is an excellent example of courtesy and seeking the customer's satisfaction with the hotel.

After a very long day of travel - arrived after midnight only to find out that they were not honoring my reservation. Apparently Expedia had only let the hotel know of my reservation the day of my first night's stay and no rooms were available. I had reserved and paid through Expedia a week in advance. The only room when I arrived was reserved for someone who booked just the day prior but the hotel honored their direct reservation over Expedia. I was not notified prior to arrival and hotel did nothing to assist.

Although the room itself was quiet and comfortable, the service fell short. The front desk staff seemed unfriendly, and we received attitude when requesting additional towels, as we were only provided three for our family of five. The staff claimed they had run out. Furthermore, when we asked for an extra blanket for our kids, we were given a wrinkled item that appeared to have just come out of the dryer.

Overall was good. The breakfast though was disappointing. Very limited in options and even the main item (egg sandwiches) they offer it in very low quantities. Unless you were standing at the buffet table each time they bring it you won’t see it.
