Check in/out easy and fast. Helpful and attentive receptionists. Thoughtful modern design inside a historic building. Large room, extra high ceiling, large bathroom and huge shower. Great restaurant. A piece of advice, Valet is 50$ a night but as we stayed for a night Saturday-Sunday, street parking after Sat. 6p.m. till Monday is free :)

Liked the location and the facilities. Didn’t care for the parking. Valet $40 per night plus tip every time I needed the vehicle, will not stay here again for that reason. The restaurant on property ‘Wild Swan” is severely overpriced and not very good food.

Do not use the hotel’s valet parking. They park your car in an outdoor lot with no camera surveillance and our car along with 6 other cars were broken into. Windows smashed and luggage stolen. Apparently, this is common for this hotel and they still park cars in this outdoor lot.

Beautiful interior, comfortable room, like many places staffing was limited. Nice welcome, felt bad for front desk team / no desk just a small kiosk without room for guests to sign docs, only a small table acrosd ftom kiosk. and terribly uncomfortable looking backless high stool for staff to sit on. They didn’t complain so Im complaining for them. Function does not have to be compromised for form. No one at valet, waited 25 min for my car - again, with no other customers waiting.

Valet at the hotel parks cars in an unsupervised empty lot with no security and 7 cars were broken into the night we stayed at this property. This sounded to be a known issue yet valet continues to park cars there instead of in a supervised parking garage.

Great hotel and location. Was disappointed that the bar shut at 11pm on Saturday and wasnt open at all on sunday. No room service option and no coffee in the room. Shame because it was one reason we chose this hotel and the bar and restaurant looked great.

Nice boutique hotel on whiskey row in downtown Louisville. Short walk to Michter's, Peerless, Bardstown, Green River, Evan Williams, and others along Main Street. Nice staff, valet parking is a must if you drive in, nice high-quality hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Grady. Staff was friendly and was eager to share information about the history and art in the hotel and area. Nicely remodeled and clean, convenient to many of the nearby attractions. Excellent dining and breakfast in the Wild Swann downstairs. Room was comfortable with good hot water in the shower, good in room coffee (!), and great Ac. Great river view. Couple hiccups with housekeeping forgetting to replenish supplies like coffee but front desk always immediately fixed it. Parking is expensive and valet is available. Recommend calling for the valet as texting didnt seem to work well. We were happy with floor 4.

Beautiful clean room. Valet attendants the young man during the day he was awesome. Room attendant came to our room to clean she was very pleasant and gave us everything we needed. Really did not see many guests maybe 4 in total so it was very peaceful and quiet.

The hotel is beautiful and has a great history. Which is one of the reasons we wanted to stay there. The staff and location was excellent. The rooms where nice and spacious. But, the floors were dirty. I had to throw out 4 pairs of socks. Each time I walked around the room my socks where black from all the dirt. The bathroom also needs a bit of upkeep. There was rust on the corners of the shower and some of the tiles where cracked by the shower handle. With this hotel being only open for 4 yrs I thought the rooms would have been in better condition.

This hotel is in a great location! The decor and atmosphere are very good. Timothy and Regina provided exceptional customer service. For this type of hotel, cleanliness was an issue. The floors in the room never seemed clean and there was evidence of the previous guest on our arrival. The sheets were old and worn out. We were also disappointed that there was no tea or coffee in the room. There are lots of self-park options located very close by.

We were in town for a bourbon tasting trip. Hotel had excellent location to local tours/tastings. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mark and Melanie were excellent. Food was very good. However, we received snow--hotel was cold/had heating issues. They were kind enough to let us use space heaters in the room. Rooms have very high ceilings and they just weren't equipped for 0 degree weather (wind chill was -15 below)--which we completely understood. Hotel lobby is beautiful--however people tracked in dirt/ice etc so the lobby got dirty and stayed dirty over the weekend. We would stay there again-friends travelling with us also agree.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, spacious and truly felt luxurious. Mark in the restaurant downstairs was stellar. His customer service really stood out. The restaurant as a whole was first rate! Had breakfast there both mornings and it was fantastic. The Grady is a gem!

I had a nice stay here. The hotel is very pretty, bed was comfortable, and the location was good. Biggest drawback was the noise from other rooms - you can hear water moving through the pipes, people walking, etc. If you aren’t a light sleeper, you might not notice!

Beautiful hotel overall but the rooms were way too cold! Even when moved to a new room it still stayed quite cool so that the tile fly was almost too cold to walk on! A gorgeously furnished hotel though! Should have complimentary coffee in the lobby also-not just the pour over in the room!

First room I was in was freezing!! Thermostat was not working. Apparently, the rooms being cold is a common complaint. There solution was to issue a space heater. The second room was much better. Bar downstairs was awesome! Good cocktails. Breakfast was good

We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a decent experience. The property was clean, updated, and we really loved the decor…it felt modern and welcoming. However, there was one issue that made our stay less comfortable. Our room was incredibly cold. Despite turning the heater up to 78°, it still felt freezing, even though the thermostat claimed it was 76°. We later found out that our neighbors on the 2nd floor had to request a portable heater from the front desk because their room was also too cold. It seems like the heating system could use some attention. Aside from this issue, we had a nice stay. The cleanliness and design of the hotel were definite positives, but addressing the heating problem would really improve the guest experience.

1 night. 2 visitors. Valet was at lunch. Front desk could not reach them. Was told “idk just give me your keys and leave it at the curb”. Charged $40 for valet. In Louisville. Terrible Asked to check in early was told “sure, for fee of $50” Front desk staff were rude, paid no attention, were in their phones, and chewing while interacting. Downstairs hyped “Swan” bar/restaurant had no life and opened late. Cocktails were good. Limited amenities. Small rooms. Small shower. Towels were rough and scratchy. Bathroom was large. Bed was comfortable. Will never stay again and will advise all friends/family to avoid.

It took 2 phones and over 20 mins to get a valet. And still no one came out. I finally left my truck and grabbed my own luggage. In the pouring rain.. In front the f the door there was a disgusting dirty feminine product in front of the door. Then the next morning at 6:30am I came down stairs to get a cup of coffee and there is a woman sleeping in the sofa. Laying down sleeping. She woke up when I waited to speak to the staff wondering if there was valet this day. Staff sleeping in the job is careless and messy. Shame on this hotel it lacks in so much ex specially in customer service.

Didn’t have the best experience checking in late. Didn’t feel very welcoming by the staff person who greeted us. Also when we got back from a late night out we couldn’t get back in hotel. No one opened the door when we pounded on the door. Had to find the phone number to call hotel for her to finally open the door. Didn’t get a very warm greeting this time either. Front desk person just need some customer service training. For such a beautiful hotel I expected higher quality service. The next morning the service was awesome by the new staff members.

Both the valet attendant and front lobby concierge were extremely welcoming and helpful getting me settled in and oriented to the hotel’s offerings as well as very knowledgeable about the hotel history and things to do nearby. I was very impressed and appreciate their level of service. I had breakfast at Wild Swann the next morning and the gentleman facilitating breakfast service was equally impressive with top notch service and menu options. I’ll definitely plan a return stay and bring my family along. Thank you!

Overall, the Grady was a very nice place to stay. Location is good, easy access to the downtown attractions on foot, but also adjacent to the river and a little less busy at the hotel. The staff, (reception, valet, bartenders, waitstaff, manager) were all excellent. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The Wild Swann was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

The Grady is a great place to stay in Louisville if you are coming for the downtown distilleries. You can walk to all of them located along Main Street, without worrying about drinking and driving. Plenty of restaurants are also within walking distance, including the Grady's own Wild Swann, and a great coffee and breakfast spot right next door. Some reviews mentioned a continental breakfast, but it is not included. Air conditioning worked great for our stay during a heat wave, and the bed is very comfortable. We were able to park in nearby covered garages for less than the valet daily rate, so we did that. Overall, this boutique hotel in an old, renovated building is both charming and relaxing!

What an amazing place to stay! Exceptional staff, beautiful hotel, lots to do within walking distance but also convenient access to highway if you want to venture out. My only complaint is the street noise at night. Yikes! Motorcycles and muscle cars were incredibly loud. Take ear plugs.

The ambiance and decor at The Grady were lovely. The staff was very friendly. The location is great. The bathrooms need better lighting, for a woman to properly see to do make up was very challenging, also a close up mirror would be great. The bathroom mirror is a little small. The main room lighting was also tough to see for make up even though there were two more mirrors by the entry door. The restaurant was understaffed for breakfast. The host/waiter/bartender/busser (one person) was so nice but service was extremely slow so plan for a lot of time. Also because there was only one person, tables were backed up with dirty plates everywhere. The restaurant atmosphere is very cool, and food was great, they just need more staff. I would rate excellent on everything if the bathroom lighting and restaurant staffing issues were fixed!

Our stay at The Grady, though brief, provided a welcome night of hospitality and comfort on a long road trip. We enjoyed the ambience—-a bit quirky with a strong vibe of twenties fun. Excellent bourbon cocktails and small plates at the basement restaurant and an even more delectable breakfast the next morning. I would have appreciated more amenities in the room—-Molton and Brown toiletries, a club chair and ottoman for corner reading, room service….these typical boutique hotel gestures are noticeable missing. In the whole, a pleasant stay. We will visit again.
