The location is great. Just cross the road , there are many good restaurants, next to city hall, and playground for kids. Parking space is good security and large.

The hotel overall is great considering that there are few options in the nearby area. However, for people who travel frequently, there are a few things to keep in mind. 1. Main Entrance is hard to identify. You need to enter the parking area on Hill St, and go through the double doors, up the elevator to the 2nd floor for check-in. 2. The building is made of wood. Therefore, sound travels through walls, and heavy stepping causes vibration, and sound. 3. There is no onsite restaurant. It's a Starbucks with a couple of food options. On the plus side: 1. Filtered water available for free in the gym. Bring your travel mug. 2. Mini convenience store with pay-for snacks et. 3. Location, Location, Location 4. Our suite was comfortable. And since this was a work-play trip, the rolling desk was a huge plus for 2 remote workers. Thank you!! 5. Spacious bathroom 6. In room coffee maker Overall, we'd return.

Clean new hotel. Hard to find parking and the entrance, Elevator is not located in a central location allowing for easy access to rooms. No complimentary coffee or food downstairs. My wife and I do not care for strong Starbucks coffee so we had to leave to get breakfast before our granddaughter's soccer game.

Nice and clean. Good location. Biggest downside was it was noisy in the hallways outside our room until about 10pm so not ideal when you’re traveling with kids. Also, I told them I parked in the lower garage and asked if that was ok. They said I could stay there or come up a level and park in the hotel spaces. I said ok great. They handed me a ticket and told me where to park. Got my bill after we checked out and they charged us a parking fee!! Never mentioned any fee while giving me the pass and even knew I was already parked else where. You think they’d have the courtesy to say “sure you can stay where you are or park in our spot for a few. Both were covered and in the same garage so it felt like they did it on purpose to get more money. I’m not big on places that purposely get you to spend money without your knowledge, so that and the noise were why it didn’t get 5 stars. Honestly, noise stopping at 10pm on a Friday and noise in general is expected at a hotel. It was really them getting me to move my car solely to hit me with a secret parking fee that I didn’t like. We only stayed a night so I’m curious if we stayed longer if they would have had other hidden fees that they trick you into.

Beautiful hotel, very convenient for my needs. For the price they could have provided a continental breakfast. They had an area that had a made to order breakfast. The bar was not staffed as stated.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay in Duluth and we really appreciated how walkable the hotel was to nearby restaurants and bars. The room was nice and clean when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable for us. The front desk was also extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay and parking was straightforward and easy. Would definitely recommend if you’re planning a weekend stay near downtown Duluth!

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Its located very conveniently in the town center with a lot of dining / bar options (even though restaurants close very! early). The hotel is good with the major downside of the cleanliness of the rooms. They only clean the room every 3rd day. In addition, after they are having cleaned, it's not clean. The rooms will quickly be sticky and disgusting if they don't fundamentally invest in cleaning overall.

The hotel and its location were great. Several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The room was excellent- clean, roomy and quite comfortable. The only negative was with their room cleaning schedule. We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t have our room cleaned, nor were we given clean towels. I mentioned this at checkout and was told that housekeeping was only required to clean the rooms every other day and that we would have needed to request clean towels if we wanted them. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but this should’ve been communicated at check-in.

extremely convenient to the downtown area Rooms were rather small. If we would have had 2 kids or teenagers with us it would have been cramped. It is not a room you want to hang out in if it had been a rainy day for example. Luckily it was a beautiful day. At that price there should have been a free coffee breakfast.

The stay was fine a little disappointed with the service. During my stay my key would not work so I went to the front desk multiple times to get the key activated. They directed me to someone who still was unable to activate the door. My son who is 15 years old was left in the room and was not responding, so I became concerned. I asked for assistance and reached out to Marriott staff and learned that the maintenance staff was not on grounds. No on could open the door which was ridiculous and scary at the same time. I had to call the police to get some assistance. Thankfully police assistance was not needed because my son woke up from a deep sleep and opened the door. Marriot staff was unable to assist for about 45 minutes. I think marriot needs to change their policy and demand that someone be at the marriot at all times because this could have been a serious issue.

This property is in walking distance of many delicious locally owned restaurants. There is always free entertainment during the evening. Very safe and very family friendly. Not to mention the property itself is beautiful, clean and quiet. We will be back many times to visit this area.

This property is spectacular, clean and friendly staff, it is in the center of downtown Duluth across the street from City Hall and the outdoor theater and park. There are several great restaurants, breweries and bars within walking distance.
