I liked that it was in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to Santa Barbara Bowl and to State Street. Check in was so easy, free parking, allow 1 night stays. Rooms are clean, updated and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful new multi-unit property within walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Santa Barbara/State Street! The unit was very well appointed, stylish and extremely comfortable. The bed and bedding were super plush and cozy. The kitchenette has everything you could possibly need for a short stay, especially the Nespresso machine. It was really convenient having parking onsite as well. The management/hosts were very friendly and helpful as well. This is a very well run and maintained vacation rental. I will definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect little getaway for my family! We had a wonderful stay our apartment/hotel. The property was very clean and exactly as described. We booked the one bedroom suite which had everything we needed including dishwasher and laundry machine. The location was perfect and very walkable to downtown. There was also ample EV charging which is a huge plus. I will definitely rebook next time we visit Santa Barbara.

Beautifully renovated property in an excellent location. The rooms are small, but serves its purpose as a place to get ready and rest. I booked this place partly because I rented an electric vehicle and saw that this property accomodated this. The only issue is that vehicles not needing a charge took up all those spaces leaving non ev charging spots available which was beyond frustrating. I wish there was a policy for non ev users to use up non ev spaces before occupying the charging spots. This may allow people who need to use the charging stations the opportunity to utilize it overnight or anytime it is needed. This is not a reflection of the property, but having that as a policy would make it a better stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The room was exceptionally clean from the moment we walked in, which immediately set a positive tone for our visit. Everything felt well‑maintained and thoughtfully prepared, and we appreciated the quiet, comfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. The bed was great, the linens were fresh, and the overall space was comfortable. While the room temperature was comfortable, allowing for a slight adjustment would be a nice improvement. Overall, the room was very nice, and we’d happily stay here again.

I love this place!! I'm spoiled by 5 star hotels and fancy schmancy stuff, and this ranks up there in terms of the kind of customer service that makes things easy and the kind of decor / aesthetic that makes you feel calm and the kind of cleanliness that makes you not feel icky. The room was extremely clean and beautifully appointed with top notch fixtures and appliances. It's airy and bright and the designer did a great job with the decor and the small, thoughtful details, such as a disposable bamboo toothbrush with toothpaste on it or the sound machine made you feel more at home. The location was perfect for us. Traveled with husband and toddler and we were totally comfortable in this size room. My husband stayed again in the smallest room available on a separate trip and said it was perfect for him solo for one night. We have parents who live nearby this hotel that we travel up to from LA to see often, so we don't need a place with all the amenities as SB is sort of a second home vs vacation destination. If you're an LA or SB native and you don't need a pool or whatever, you should definitely consider staying here because it's pragmatically fantastic!

At the time of my stay there was some construction going on next door early in the morning so be aware of that if you're a light sleeper.Other than th a t was easy to check in and out by my phone and the communication was great too highly recommend to stay here.

This rental was exactly as advertised. It was nice, clean, and appeared to be newly renovated. Everything was in good working order, and the location was great. If you are very noise adverse, the thin walls may be an issue (very easy to hear neighbors even when they are talking at a relatively "normal" volume). However, white noise machines are avaliable in all the units for those who need them, which is a nice touch.

Casa Jardin was well presented, clean and a good location for us. The 4pm check in time was inconvenient - I hadn't realised there was no reception on the property (I should have checked more closely). We had arrived on the train late morning and had nowhere to put our luggage until check in. Perhaps a storage locker could be made available in the future for others in the same situation? We also found the place quite loud - the neighbourhood is quiet, but we could hear every doorstep from our neighbours upstairs. It's all hard flooring - perhaps some rugs would help dampen the noise, or a warning to upstairs guests to keep it down - they sounded like a herd of elephants when we were trying to sleep! We also found it slightly odd that a place for two only had one chair, so one person had to eat breakfast sitting on the bed. Overall, still a decent stay in Santa Barbara.

We had a great experience staying here. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip including toiletries, a kitchen, and easy parking. Love how easy it was to unlock the door with a 4-digit code instead of having a key or keycard. Easy to check in and out. Fast communication with property managers if there is any problem. Walking distance to coffee shop and businesses and sights in downtown area.

Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, you feel like it’s your own place amongst the locals. Completely renovated with a classy, minimalist vibe. They offer those extra touches of a larger resort. The entire place is spotless. And private. Parking is free and located behind the building. Loved the touch pad entry. The staff gave expeditious, clear and professional instructions. The easiest check in and out. It was my birthday and they had a nice hand written card for me with chocolates. Also, they gave a free tasting at the amazing SAMsARA winery. Do take advantage of that. The wines are delicious. It’s an easy walk to State Street. Only 2 miles from the beach. Looking forward to my next visit.

Highly recommend this place. The space was used efficiently, it was very clean, and had the eco/sustainable amenities needed for a great stay. When needing to contact the ‘front desk’ via text, they were responsive within a few minutes or less. Would def recommend this place and will plan on coming back when the times comes.

The only things I really care about when traveling are a comfortable bed and super clean room. Casa Jardin went above and beyond. Self check-in is so convenient and smooth, location was EVERYTHING (close to literally everything if you don’t mind walking around this charming little city) and the room had everything one needs for a comfortable, clean stay. I had some questions before and after booking and I had exceptionally friendly and efficient service from Arielle- would book here again 100%.

The location is perfect, just a few blocks from State Street but just far enough away for a relaxing getaway. The beds were amazing and the simple design made it cozy. We would definitely come back.

Property was great, BUT, construction is going on across the street and it starts early, with the construction there is a metal plate on the roadway so each time a vehicle drives over it, it makes a loud thump/clank… of course this isn’t the property management’s fault, however, if your not interested in waking up 6:30ish Monday through Friday, I’d look elsewhere

El Jardin is excellent. It’s inviting, quaint and comfortable. Walking distance to State Street is convenient. We felt at home. Definitely looking forward to returning in the future.
