Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel, good location and station parking close, with discount code at check in. One fault was the terrible squeaking noise from the lifts pulleys, (I was in room opposite). Didn’t get any sleep from 7am ish, when they started to become more active. Reception said they’d pass on to maintenance but other wise didn’t seem too interested! Please get this fixed as it defeats the object of staying. Thanks.

It is always clean and good value but they had switched off the heating in the foyer and restaurant and it was verg cold dining there in the evening. This also meant my room heating was fighting against the cold and I went to bed early in my last night to gwt warm and did not eat at all

This hotel is my favourite stay in Brighton. It’s easy to drive to, parking is opposite. It’s almost built into the side of the station and walkable to everything you need. The hotel itself has helpful staff, is very modern, clean, friendly and comfortable. The price does fluctuate far too much for me which annoys me as a regular visitor and can quite easily go from £75-£200 for one night for the same offering. While i understand it - this difference is too high.

Didn't have breakfast, Brighton cafe culture wins out. Poor / no reception on TV channels and remote didn't work well. Struggled to set a nice room temperature and light from the thermostat was annoying. Good parking and good to know about the parking QR code at reception.

Lovely welcome on arrival, explained the parking etc. Room could have done with a hoover, the tv didn’t work. The bar area is vast and worked well but there was a horrible noise every so often allegedly from the HVAC. Slightly disappointed on returning from the event we went to we were greeted with a member of the bar staff who was very happy to tell us we couldn’t get a drink while she put the shutters down on the bar. Rubbish end to the night. Think this hotel is expensive for the location and having to pay for parking. Won’t be staying here again.

Hi there, Whilst the hotel was okay and the staff very friendly. We had a few issues. Number 1: there was rubbish in the room showing it had not been cleaned properly see picture attched we do not eat these chocolates as we eat strictly kosher and we found this behind the bin in the bathroom. NUber 2: there was some stains next to the bed which were rather off putting probably from puke or something which meant my wife and i and our kids had to wear socks/shoes whilst walking around the toom. Number 3: on the first night of our stay Sunday 28th just after we had finally got the kids to sleep (1yr old and 4 yr old) there was a fire alarm meaning we had fo wake them both up and take them downstairs!!! Only to get to the lobby and realise this was a mistake and there had been a leak in the reception!!! The lifts were then not working we had to carry the kids back.up and it took them a really long time to get back to bed ruining the first night of our trip. Please see that we are compensated for these inconveniences. m 2.

The hotel was in a good condition, great location for our purpose, along with good food and drink (I had a lovely pizza, not sure what the other food is like). The room was good with great AC although whilst all surface were clean I am not sure it had been hoovered after the last guests as black hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the bedroom which was disappointing.

Upon arrival, I found the bathroom to be in an unacceptable condition. It had clearly not been cleaned properly—there were bodily hairs all over the floor and covering the non-slip mat, which was extremely off-putting, especially as I was preparing to bathe my child. Additionally, the room itself was very dated. The bed sheets were torn, and the curtains were visibly dirty, which added to an overall sense of neglect and discomfort during our stay.

Good location right next to Brighton station however not at all worth the price. The rooms not only need a serious upgrade, but there was rust and mold in the bathroom, stains on the headboard, carpet & furniture. Better off paying a little more for a nicer hotel.

Location was excellent, just at the back of train station. We could leave the luggage earlier on check in day and leave for storage at check out day. Receptionists very helpful. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs were watery and bacon didn’t taste nice. Otherwise sausage, baked beans, fried eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes good. Nice bread and couple of pastries, couple of juices apple and orange. Good coffee which was nice! Bedroom- beds comfortable, and crispy clean bedding. Couple of sticky stains on bedside table. Air conditioning unit had error sign showing, we have informed the receptionist, but she wasn’t really interested… bathroom needs a good clean! Not only mirror and toilet. Corners and silicon dirty. When people next room shut their doors the noise was very very loud! Iron, hairdryer, selection of tea, coffee which was nice. Overall mixed feeling.

Absolutely the most comfortable beds ever!! I picked this hotel for its conveint location to the train station which is across the street. I grew up on a dead end street with train tracks at the end so train noises I can just filter out. If you require complete quiet you might want to request the other side of the hotel. Food is everywhere which is amazing only thing which is odd being from a country that has fridges in all hotel rooms was this one didn’t. Nor an ice bucket or ice, but perhaps it’s a cultural difference.

Slider/runner mechanism on one of the drawers is faulty. The power cable at the rear of the TV was disconnected rendering the TV inoperable - until I manually reconnected it. Room was clean and tidy. Windows can be opened - unlike many hotels where they are sealed.

The majority of the hotel and room was satisfactory and pleasant; however, there were three things that were disappointing. The shower in the morning was like warm and, despite adjusting the temperature to the maximum and waiting several minutes, didn’t get warm and went cold during the shower. The window was ajar and fixed with a screw through the frame. It wasn’t possible to open or close it and there was noise and a cool breeze all night. The bed base had a wheel missing and was on a slant.

The hotel is new and beautifully furnished. The rooms are very clean and fully equipped with everything you need, including towels, soap, and shampoo. In a double room, they even provide four pillows, which is a nice touch, although the only downside is that the pillows are a bit too high. I love sleeping in complete darkness, and the curtains are excellent: even during the day, no light gets into the room. I absolutely loved that. Another great point is the silence, there was no noise at all during my stay, which made it very relaxing.

The server/host in the breakfast buffet was so rude. We came at least 20 min before 10 and she told us we only have a few minutes which we undercut it felt like she followed me all around d while I was getting my food and reminded me that we only have a few minutes. Once we sat down she approached our table and ask us if we were done with the buffet food so she can keep them, whereas as she just saw us sat down. I felt like we were being pushed out of the restaurant. Another scenario was in the room, we needed water. All we have was sparkling and we didn’t drink that. No one answered room service so I walked around and found the housekeeper . She questioned me why I needed 6 bottles of still water, I told her we were thirsty and there’s 3 of us in the room. I thought this was very rude as we didn’t like the sparkling water. She called the manager and he then instructed her that we needed to call the reception area which I just finished explaining that no one was answering . We were only there for a day and it was the worst service ever . I will not recommend this place. The staff are RUDE!!

Poor communication skills from reception staff. Brusque to the point of being rude. Was given the wrong room - booked Executive room with 1 King bed and initially presented with standard room with a double bed and l single sleeper. When l queried, they initially resisted saying the bed was a King and it was what l had booked. I insisted back and only then did they concede and moved us to an actual Executive room with a King bed. Absolutely dismal service. On top of all that, half the stuff in the room are broken or in some state of disrepair - sheets with holes, waste bin with broken foot pedal, toilet role is so poor quality, l had to go and buy instead of use it, etc. All around more appropraite for a 3-star hotel at best.

On top of all that, half the stuff in the room are broken or in some state of disrepair - sheets with holes, waste bin with broken foot pedal, toilet role is so poor quality, l had to go and buy instead of use it, etc. All around more appropraite for a 3-star hotel at best.

First room we were given the toilet was leaking. Room changed quickly. Asked reception for an upgrade as it was my Birthday but they said they didn’t have any and gave us two free drinks vouchers to have at the bar; which was very nice. When we went to the bar I asked for a glass of Prosecco and my partner an apple juice, the lady said Prosecco is only sold by the bottle but as it is my bday she can give me one of the small bottle of Prosecco botella gold complimentary. She was very kind and brought us a slice of cheesecake. Unfortunately the bar manager ruined all her efforts and told her to tell us that the small Prosecco was not included for the voucher and that I would have to pay, I didn’t make a fuss as the italian waitress was very kind and her intentions were good and I didn’t want her to get into trouble, but the manager should have just allowed it and not asked her to charge me £11. Defeats the whole point of getting a free drink offered by reception. Rooms are tired and no hand shower!

Great breakfast for someone who is GF First room had very noisy air on like a motorbike. Were told to make it quiet we just needed to turn it off. They were very reluctant for us to change rooms but we insisted so they gave in - not great service!

Very friendly and welcoming. There was a flood from a 5th floor room above reception and a clear up operation was immediately put into place, efficiently and correct safety signage was displayed prominently. All staff had, and knew their place within this urgent situation. Very impressive. This was our 2nd visit to this Leonardo hotel and would definitely recommend.

The room was very clean and although it faced a courtyard so the view was not great, it didn't put us off. The seagulls were friendly, tapping on the window! We got the train and it was right next to the station so was perfect location. We didn't have breakfast there. Staff were very friendly and offered to look after our bags on the last day, which really helped! Would definitely recommend.

The location was perfect. As we went by train the station was approx a 5 minute walk away. It had dining facilities which we dined on the last night. Food was good. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the promenade going, a bit longer going back. ( it's uphill) But bus service very good.

Seems to have gone downhill since changing from The Jury’s. Also the online check in is a complete waste of time as you spend the same amount of time queuing and waiting at the desk. Still nice and a great location but it needs freshening up.

The room was good, however the breakfast was very poor. We arrived at 9:30 and there was little food left and although we were told more was coming out-very little did. Sadly the quality of the food was not the usual standard of the hotel. Many people were left without a decent breakfast.

The room was great, clean and all the facilities you would expect. Its near the rail station, which is handy (You cannot hear it, my room overlooked the station on the 3rd floor). Although its a bit "out of it" so be prepared for a 20 minute walk downhill to the front. The breakfast and evening meal (and service) however, is terrible. Slow service, mediocre cold tasteless food/room service. Eat ANYWHERE else.
