This hotel wasn’t on my original list for Shanghai, as I’m a member of several international hotel programs. However, I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I’m a female solo traveller and stayed for 7 nights. Check-in was smooth and easy. I booked a room only rate, but the hotel offered a breakfast discount if I wanted to add it later. I didn’t take it since I’m not a morning person. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The first round of minibar items was free, the shower was large, and the toilet was fully automatic, it opened, flushed, and closed by itself! As a light sleeper, I really appreciated how quiet the room was. Housekeeping was excellent; staff always greeted me warmly and offered fresh towels whenever they saw me. The complimentary laundry room was a huge plus, with free detergent provided. Tip for travellers: it can get busy on weekends, so try doing laundry during the day or on weekdays. Location is excellent, within walking distance to Yuyuan Garden Metro, the Bund, restaurants, and shopping malls. Not all staff speak English, but that’s no reason for negative reviews! Download a translation app; locals often use them too, and communication is easy. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai, safe, convenient, and full of thoughtful touches.

We are a family for four with two kids age 11 and 7, stayed for 6 days. This hotel is family friendly, offers free activities like city walk with local tour guide, and craft arts etc. Right next to the subway station and Yu garden, and about 10 min walk to the Bund. Our room was large and clean, all the drinks and snacks are free, they even offer free laundry station. They also have a photographer on site! We really enjoyed staying here and would totally recommend it.

I had a great four days at the Blossom Shanghai. The location is good and the room I had. Queen Garden room, was excellent. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only issue would be that there is not a bar on the premises, it has been closed for over a year and there can be quite a wait for the elevators. Those things said, it is still a great hotel and I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in Shanghai.

Great stay! Hotel was in a fantastic location next to Yu Gardens and the Bund. We were surprised with free hotel activities such as daily city walk (930-11am), evening night tour of Yu Gardens scenic area (our guide was the super seasoned concierge, George) and even free hotel photography! (3 free photos and pay for what you like, our photographer Xiao Qi was amazing with full makeup and change of clothes makeover.) With complimentary local desserts 8pm-10pm every night. Hotel staff were all super friendly and generous with us - including helping me to settle a local parcel cost without wanting to charge me. There's also beautiful post cards you can send to your loved ones from the hotel, courtesy of the hotel. All in, it's simply amazing!!! I'll recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very nice place with a clear sense of detail. We opted for the Deluxe room — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a big bathtub and a super-size bed. Breakfast was very Chinese/Asian-oriented, and after a few days we decided to skip it — the coffee was terrible, and simple Western items like cheese or granola were missing. The rest of the buffet looked fine, just not to our taste for the morning. Staff were friendly in a typically Chinese way — not many smiles, but attentive and efficient despite limited English. With translation apps, communication was no problem. The fitness facilities do exist, but as in most hotels, they are quite limited: a few cardio machines, a dual cable tower, a bench, and some medium-range weights. A bar for the tower, and a barbell for chest with weight plates would have been great. Location is excellent — an easy walk to the Bund — and the cute autonomous delivery robot roaming the halls and taking the elevator on it's own is just magnificent. Overall, we were very satisfied. Room was clean,very quite sleep,comfortable bed .poor view of other rooms from the bedroom window.i enjoyed that the lobby is located on lvl 7 but to access the rooms you divert completely passed it via lvl 2 which is the entrance .didnt eat there as there are many food options nearby.

1st night, we were assigned to a room with an detached air-conditioning unit. The night went by very noisy because the machine was making a rattling sound. The hotel change us to a new room next day. All rooms were clean and amenities fill up daily. Staff were excellent and attentive. Take a free tour from the hotel and it was excellent; a lot of information offered. Definitely will stay there again.

I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel My room was big with a terrace. Very clean Plenty of hot water and good water pressure I felt very safe Staff that did a great job: The guy the checked me out. He was friendly, caring Housekeeping ladies: Nice and friendly This hotel is about 30 minute walk from Nanjing Road. About 2.5 blocks away from the pier where you would get a ferry to tour the Huangpu river I love walking, I did not mind the distance on foot Getting a taxi very easy. Use Didi application Distance to Pudong airport with no traffic is 38 minutes but with traffic over 1.2 hours Negative aspects which did mot impact my stay -No internet. I used my hotspot -Breakfast, not to my taste but you won’t starve. I don’t think it is worth to pay for it, but it was not too expensive. -Staff that checked me in looked stressed and was not friendly Good stay for 1-2 days at most If you need to use the internet, I do not recommend this hotel. Even with hot spot it took some effort to do my work. My room was 1010. There must be a club nearby, blasting Spanish music all night long. I did not mind. It kept me awake.

This hotel wasn’t on my original list for Shanghai, as I’m a member of several international hotel programs. However, I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I’m a female solo traveller and stayed for 7 nights. Check-in was smooth and easy. I booked a room only rate, but the hotel offered a breakfast discount if I wanted to add it later. I didn’t take it since I’m not a morning person. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The first round of minibar items was free, the shower was large, and the toilet was fully automatic, it opened, flushed, and closed by itself! As a light sleeper, I really appreciated how quiet the room was. Housekeeping was excellent; staff always greeted me warmly and offered fresh towels whenever they saw me. The complimentary laundry room was a huge plus, with free detergent provided. Tip for travellers: it can get busy on weekends, so try doing laundry during the day or on weekdays. Location is excellent, within walking distance to Yuyuan Garden Metro, the Bund, restaurants, and shopping malls. Not all staff speak English, but that’s no reason for negative reviews! Download a translation app; locals often use them too, and communication is easy. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai, safe, convenient, and full of thoughtful touches.

1st night, we were assigned to a room with an detached air-conditioning unit. The night went by very noisy because the machine was making a rattling sound. The hotel change us to a new room next day. All rooms were clean and amenities fill up daily. Staff were excellent and attentive. Take a free tour from the hotel and it was excellent; a lot of information offered. Definitely will stay there again.

I had a great four days at the Blossom Shanghai. The location is good and the room I had. Queen Garden room, was excellent. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only issue would be that there is not a bar on the premises, it has been closed for over a year and there can be quite a wait for the elevators. Those things said, it is still a great hotel and I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in Shanghai.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Blossom House. The service was excellent, breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel also organizes activities and city tours, which we took part in—a traditional Chinese incense ceremony and a guided walk along The Bund. Definitely recommend this place.

Amazing Hotel. We used this hotel for a stopover night on the way back to the UK from Japan. You just need to fill in a small form at the border on the way to immigration for a 240hour/10 days free visa to get out of the airport. If you are doing this as a stopover tell them at checkin so they do not transit your bags! Artistically designed rooms in a great location.We had a large balcony with views overlooking Shanghai. Great service - even though they did not speak much english they use a translater app so communciation was excellent. They really helped us. Lots to see just by walking around and great views of the Bund buildings. We were just here overnight so had enough time to wander around and get some dumplings and noodles from a large array of small restaurants just outside the hotel. The area felt very safe as there are a few hotels about in the area. Good ameneties in the room - USB points so you don't need a plug!. Great breakfast with a wide choice of foods in a big dining room with great views. We just got a tax to get there from the airport - took about 45 mins - equivalent of £20-30 (dependant on amount of traffic - alot more in the morning!) Note - bring an address in chinese as taxi driver could not read the english address. Also the location in the UK version google maps is incorrect. Look for the correct street address. Well worth a visit and Shanghai looks a great place to visit. We wish we actually had extended our stopover for a couple of days.

Very nice place with a clear sense of detail. We opted for the Deluxe room — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a big bathtub and a super-size bed. Breakfast was very Chinese/Asian-oriented, and after a few days we decided to skip it — the coffee was terrible, and simple Western items like cheese or granola were missing. The rest of the buffet looked fine, just not to our taste for the morning. Staff were friendly in a typically Chinese way — not many smiles, but attentive and efficient despite limited English. With translation apps, communication was no problem. The fitness facilities do exist, but as in most hotels, they are quite limited: a few cardio machines, a dual cable tower, a bench, and some medium-range weights. A bar for the tower, and a barbell for chest with weight plates would have been great. Location is excellent — an easy walk to the Bund — and the cute autonomous delivery robot roaming the halls and taking the elevator on it's own is just magnificent. Overall, we were very satisfied. The room was spacious and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Staff were helpful and made a good effort to help us despite the language barrier. The location is only a few minutes from the yu garden train station so it is easy to travel throughout the city easily. You can walk to many restaurants and to the yu garden within a few minutes.

O hotel é bem localizado, perto de vários pontos turísticos de Shanghai, o serviço é bom, pessoas prestativas, quarto amplo e bom com banheiro excelente, ele merecia facilmente 4 e até 5 estrelas, porém ele nos frustou em uma coisa que eu e minha família valorizo muito, o café da manhã. Eles não se preocupam em oferecer variedades de comidas no café da manhã para ocidental, para ter uma noção o pão era ruim e não tinha nem queijo. Então o resumo é, se você for do ocidente e quer um bom café da manhã para começar bem o dia, fuja desse hotel, mas se não se importa, vai contratar a estadia sem café para tomar na rua, recomendo muito esse hotel.

I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel My room was big with a terrace. Very clean Plenty of hot water and good water pressure I felt very safe Staff that did a great job: The guy the checked me out. He was friendly, caring Housekeeping ladies: Nice and friendly This hotel is about 30 minute walk from Nanjing Road. About 2.5 blocks away from the pier where you would get a ferry to tour the Huangpu river I love walking, I did not mind the distance on foot Getting a taxi very easy. Use Didi application Distance to Pudong airport with no traffic is 38 minutes but with traffic over 1.2 hours Negative aspects which did mot impact my stay -No internet. I used my hotspot -Breakfast, not to my taste but you won’t starve. I don’t think it is worth to pay for it, but it was not too expensive. -Staff that checked me in looked stressed and was not friendly Good stay for 1-2 days at most If you need to use the internet, I do not recommend this hotel. Even with hot spot it took some effort to do my work. My room was 1010. There must be a club nearby, blasting Spanish music all night long. I did not mind. It kept me awake.

We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious, excellent facilities and amazing views. Excellent location, so close to the Yu Gardens and the view of the bund. Would stay again

Nice location if you wanna be close to the Bund. Fantastic view on the skyline both from the Lobby floor - nice quiet area with tables there if you wanna work - and from the room (but be careful: while booking it is not written that std room has no window so they asked me for a - paid - upgrade if I wanna the window. I saw it happened the same to other guests checking in at the same time). Metro station is 3 mins walking away. The hotel is quite well furnished even if cleaning in the corridors could be a bit more accurate (in the room all was OK). Light smart system management is a bit weird, some functions were missing. Reception staff does not speak English so they used a translator (check in process was quite long, but not the first time in China). They do not have iron in the room but a laundromat room + steamer at 8F (often busy, no idea why, even late at night).
