The room we stayed in had a mini kitchenette very modern and nice finishes. Everything you would need if staying longer than one night. The room was extremely clean and modern with a twist of country flair. No carpeting in the room which we appreciated. The free breakfast buffet was better than your average free breakfast: make your own waffles & pancakes, scrambled & hard boiled eggs, sausage links, seasoned potatoes, biscuits & country gravy. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting next to the fireplace in the dining area which was warm & cozy. I would have given them 5 stars but our room was located on the back of the hotel facing a mound hill so there was no view to speak of (disappointing). I would recommend when booking the room request a room facing the front of the hotel vs the back. Overall, we were very pleased with our overnight stay.

Beautifully renovated with an upscale cowboy vibe. New property, so still a few things going on. Couldn’t park in the parking lot as they’re striping it, for example. Breakfast was great and there is some view outdoor seating. All the pillows were too fluffy for my taste, but I didn’t ask if there were alternates. Note that two sister hotels are side by side, so I started at the wrong one. ;)

Great hotel, breakfast was good, patio area on third floor has good views, everything was clean, the guy managing it was very friendly and helpful. There is no pool or hot tub, so if you want that, check out their hotel next door.

The hotel is only a couple of years old. It has a beautiful, modern, western theme. The staff was very welcoming. It would be a nice touch if they offered a a couple of wine choices. The lounge/lobby area and upstairs patio would be the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass. If you do plan on extended stay, be advised that the drawers on the furniture do not open. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel. One of the nicest I've stayed in for a long time. Western contemporary design which was first class in every detail down to the bath products chosen and used in the shower. The common spaces were so nice. The place was spotless and warm. Food was great. Parking, location, you name it. There wasn't a thing I could nit pick and say they could have done better. Well done all the way around. Owners and staff should be very proud. I've stayed in hotels across the country on all levels. One of the best.

The Bunkhouse was a great a great place to stay. The people at the desk were friendly and very helpful. We were really very comfortable in our bed and we actually needed heat and the AC and Heater unit was easily to set. I gave clean a little gig because the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. The grout around floor was black and moldy. Luckily we aren't allergic to molds. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of selection, all the normal stuff and pancakes, waffles, and really good sausage gravy and biscuits, and pancakes. It was a little hard to find though. The Bunk House and Cross Keys are two separate hotels right next to each other.

This is a great new hotel. Overall it is great, breakfast had a ton of options with a beautiful view, bed was very comfortable, and decor and room overall is great. Downside is the blinds do not fully block out the light so if light affects your sleep like me being a sleep mask-light at night from lights outside and then sunlight in the morning…

Did not like there were no blind. Even tho the glass was one way. We did not want to see out. The refrigerator made an awful high pitch squealing noise, was bad enough couldn’t sleep, I just unplugged it. The room was sold has having a view of the city… did not have a view of the city…but rather the parking lot. For $200 I had hoped it would be rather private and quiet. We could hear every person that walked down the hall from reception, and outside in the parking lot, especially when pulling in to check in and unload. Did not like how the vehicles lights would shine through window…all hours of the night. Really disappointed.

I loved this hotel except one thing... there is a gap at the bottom of the door and there are vinyl floors... Just saying, at least one of the couples staying there last night probably thought they were a little more private than they were... Inside the room things were very quiet and could not hear your neighbors... but from the hall? Well let's just say you could hear everything.

Stopped here on our way home from Portland. Friendly, welcoming staff. Went to nearly establishments and also extremely friendly and welcoming. I thought it would just be a random stop on a long drive home, but I cannot wait to come back.

Wow!! This place was amazing! Only stayed a day but would have enjoyed more! Beautifully decorated by the owners, so clean I thought it had just opened and found out it was two years old. In spite of the elevator being out of order the Staff went out of their way to help us with our luggage, then helped to show us how the lighting worked (with our keycard) and brought up additional bath linens on request. Everything was attended to within minutes of contacting the front desk. Beds were so comfy and shower had great pressure and lots of room!! Free buffet breakfast was very good with lots of options. Highly, highly recommend and will look for more operated by these owners to open in other areas.

When booking with Expedia, you get the worst room, every time. I have stayed with them many times and this is 100 percent the case. This property is brand new. So it is super clean and the theme is really cool. But the fact they put me right next to the lobby was too loud. The front desk guy was yelling down the hall at 7 am to the food delivery man and it woke me up too early. Very rude. Great spot, inconsiderate employees.

Amazing place! It looks brand-new, the service at the front desk was fantastic, and the room was extremely comfortable and clean. Even though it's close to the highway (and our room faced the road), it was exceptionally quiet. It's very close to downtown Madra, so plenty of access to dining, groceries, gas, etc. We'll definitely be back!
Amazing place! It looks brand-new, the service at the front desk was fantastic, and the room was extremely comfortable and clean. Even though it's close to the highway (and our room faced the road), it was exceptionally quiet. It's very close to downtown Madra, so plenty of access to dining, groceries, gas, etc. We'll definitely be back!

The Bunkhouse was a great a great place to stay. The people at the desk were friendly and very helpful. We were really very comfortable in our bed and we actually needed heat and the AC and Heater unit was easily to set. I gave clean a little gig because the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. The grout around floor was black and moldy. Luckily we aren't allergic to molds. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of selection, all the normal stuff and pancakes, waffles, and really good sausage gravy and biscuits, and pancakes. It was a little hard to find though. The Bunk House and Cross Keys are two separate hotels right next to each other.

This is such a stunning property! The rooms, lobby, breakfast area, and exterior of this hotel is perfect. There is not a lot to do in madras and not a lot of options for dining. There is a lovely Mexican restaurant across the highway however it is not accessible on foot. I would stay there again though there was noise in the hallways at night. The walls seemed thin. The rooms had kitchenettes! Breakfast was very very good, free of charge and in a beautiful environment. It had indoor or outdoor seating.

I wasn’t expecting this to be right off the main highway and across from shopping centers. Otherwise, this hotel was great! Very clean, friendly staff, sitting outside in the evening on their main patio was nice and a definite perk for staying here.

My stay at the Bunk House was very enjoyable. I was passing through town to see some nearby sites with a friend of mine and decided to stay here. The decor and ambiance was very good and the hotel smelled very clean. The front desk employee was very helpful, giving us a few recommendations for dinner. They had a complimentary breakfast that was tasty, the coffee could use improving, however. There was only a few negatives, the deadbolt on our door didn't line up correctly so we couldn't use that while in the room. Also, the lock for the bathroom door didn't line up either so we couldn't lock the bathroom door. Our room was also right across from the elevator and the ice machines and the noise level was a little higher than I'd like. We let the front desk staff know about the locks before we left. Overall I'd definitely recommend this hotel, it seems like they have a few kinks to iron out but that wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

The room we stayed in had a mini kitchenette very modern and nice finishes. Everything you would need if staying longer than one night. The room was extremely clean and modern with a twist of country flair. No carpeting in the room which we appreciated. The free breakfast buffet was better than your average free breakfast: make your own waffles & pancakes, scrambled & hard boiled eggs, sausage links, seasoned potatoes, biscuits & country gravy. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting next to the fireplace in the dining area which was warm & cozy. I would have given them 5 stars but our room was located on the back of the hotel facing a mound hill so there was no view to speak of (disappointing). I would recommend when booking the room request a room facing the front of the hotel vs the back. Overall, we were very pleased with our overnight stay.

Beautifully renovated with an upscale cowboy vibe. New property, so still a few things going on. Couldn’t park in the parking lot as they’re striping it, for example. Breakfast was great and there is some view outdoor seating. All the pillows were too fluffy for my taste, but I didn’t ask if there were alternates. Note that two sister hotels are side by side, so I started at the wrong one. ;)

The free breakfast was almost inedible. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and tasteless. The single serve butter containers were rancid. The waffles turn to mush the instant you put syrup on them, and the potatoes were very dry and cold. They did have other options however like cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, biscuits, gravy and sausage. When I asked for sugar-free syrup they were able to find some in the kitchen, which I appreciated greatly. You had a choice of Apple or orange juice and there was coffee also. The room was beautiful and we could find no fault there

It's clean and new, BUT the price is crazy for no work out room, no pool, and get this no bottle openers, they gave me a rusty used one to "borrow" which didn't even fit a standard bottle. The upstairs breakfast nook outside was nice and the breakfast was typical of a decent hotel. Just WAY overpriced.

Beautifully decorated and the architecture of the building was stunning from all the metal details in the walls to the canoe lighting when you walk in. The room was large and everything was very clean, the bathroom even had roses for toilet paper. Continental breakfast was very good with lots of choices. 10/10 would stay here again when in madras.
