American Great Outdoors @ Spring Brook Resort

Loved the quiet, non-congested neighborhood feel while being short walk from pools and restaurant. Having restaurant was a huge plus. Food was excellent. Whole process and stay was easy, hassle free. Only a few minutes to most attractions. Will stay again.

Overall the place was really nice. Few details: The kitchen amenities were a little disorganized and lacking if you plan on cooking meals. For some reason there were 2 drawers that the silverware was split into and the one we found first had 1 spoon, it wasn't until the middle of the second day that we found the spoons. The lacking was mostly about pans, we really had to search for a pan that wasn't scratched non-stick. (Scratched teflon is toxic.) There was one pan on the small side we had to use for 11 people, which made things a little complicated. And the oven was really inconsistent for cooking, we made 3 trays of food (same time) and one tray was burnt while one tray was undercooked. Seems to have hot & cool spots. If you keep to one thing right in the middle it's ok.There was a little coffee, 3 coffee makers, and a kettle (but no tea). There was hand washing dish soap, but no dishwasher soap (guests are required to clean the dishes). The grocery store is at the Walmart, but it's only 6 minutes away.The entry lock was tricky and we often had to try several times before it would unlock or lock (lock doesn't close when you key in the code until about a minute or two after if you don't touch it. Also, the porch screen door latch was loose and we had to tighten it a couple times. Storm windows were closed and really hard to open.The location is convenient to a lot of activities and the outdoor fire pit was nice. It is overall a beautiful location/property.

Great location, house worked well for our family gathering. Kids enjoyed the pool.

There was plenty of sleeping accomodations for our group. The bedrooms were clean and ample towels. When I texted the office to replenish the coffee it was delivered within a short time. A bathroom on top floor would have been very helpful. Nice to have club house with pool and sports bar close. Deck & stairs outside need replacing. REALLY ENJOYED our stay.
