First, the negatives. I'm not a fan of forced Valet Parking. There is a parking lot nearby. But you're not allowed to leave, if you are paying for overnight parking. Unless you want to repay for parking. And you're not allowed to park in front of the hotel to unload yourself. The elevators are 1/2 the size of normal elevators. This can cause long wait times for a ride. Also, we were given a handy cap accessible room . There were no chairs in the room. Although we asked the front desk about it and were told someone would bring us some, we ended up sitting on the bed or cooler for the weekend. For the price we paid, this was inexcusable. The positive. The historic district where the hotel is located. It is also in an arts district, with many places to visit and see. The room was clean and in good shape overall. although our stay was overall pleasant, I will look for something closer to the Inner Harbor next time.

Such a bad experience. Our room had no soap in the shower, and the phone was not working to ask them. Out of the two elevators one did not work. Everyone had to wait 15 for every ride. The staff at the cafe dashery was not friendly. On checkout they charged the wrong amount that I am still trying to get refunded.

Impressive Mt Vernon area boutique retreat. Tucked on a quiet street but easy 20min walk to the Inner Harbor. Impressive architectural elements blend w fun decor- bed was so comfy, spacious room, darling bath with classic tile & spacious shower w killer toiletries. Felt a good value for the money...wish i wouldda had time to enjoy one of 4+ private karaoke rooms. So fun! Valet is $50 per night...street parking is available 2 hour limit 7am to 8pm "rarely enforced" per locals.

Staff was outstanding and welcoming. Accommodations were excellent. Neighborhood is great and a hidden gem in Baltimore. Note the elevators are slow but to be expected in old bldg. Rooftop restaurant has amazing views of city.

Only issue I had was the Wi-Fi/Internet was down. So, I couldn't watch TV. But the usage of the gym replaced my down time which I enjoyed.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent. We had a minor issue with our AC the 1st day, and it was fixed immediately. The Topside Restaurant was fantastic. We dined there twice during our stay. Our only criticism is there should have been advance notification about Valet parking of $49.00 per day.

Great hotel, service, nice restaurants, location. The only thing is the elevators, which are quite fast, have issues with recognizing the room cards (which you need to get to your floor or the restaurant) so of the 6 or so time we rode the elevators in our one day stay there, 4 of them we spent going up and down in vain before giving up and having the front desk help us. Otherwise would stay again.

Front desk agents were accommodating and friendly. Towanda was great! Valet was a little pricey at $50 a night but they were also very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we loved the unique decor and cleanliness. The karaoke rooms, retro jukebox, atm on site and lovely seating areas were also wonderful additions to the property. The rooftop restaurant was fabulous and service and food were excellent! Highly recommend!!

AC was not as cold when hotel was full with guests. Good location but a couple of blocks away surrounding areas seemed concerning. Gym was decent roof top restaurant very nice ambience, good food with amazing views. The breakfast cafe in the hotel is definitely up to par. Great staff. Parking 49 a day but street parking available I found street parking everyday and night. Drawback is the vehicle must be move by 9:00 to a different location as it’s only two hour parking until 7pm. I would stay again

Very unique property! The surrounding neighborhood includes charming parks and a Washington memorial. It’s a 1.5 mile walk to the harbor area. The cafe and rooftop restaurant were both quite nice. The employees with whom we interacted were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, valet service is unavailable from 11-7, which made it impossible to retrieve our car to get someone to the airport.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this outstanding boutique hotel. Our corner room was very spacious, clean, artfully decorated, had a white marble roomy bathroom, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was always personable and went out of their way to make sure we and other guests were helped and happy!

The hotel itself is super cute and trendy. The receptionist I spoke to was really sweet and helpful. Unfortunately there were a decent amount of broken shards of glass in my room and I found this out when I stepped on one barefoot. My friend and I were in a rush to get ready to head out for a wedding so we called the front desk and let them know we’d be heading out soon if they could clean the room up. We were guessing maybe a previous guess broke a glass and never let housekeeping know and tried cleaning it up themselves but even then housekeeping should’ve done a better job cleaning. Right before we headed to the wedding we let the front desk know about all the broken glass and asked them if they could vacuum and replace all the towels that were in the bathroom and clean up the bathroom where most of the shards of glass were found. When we got back from the wedding we found more glass and noticed they had not cleaned or replaced anything. We found most glass shards under the wash clothes and thank goodness we looked before using those wash cloths on our faces. The next day we let management know all this and they did take $50 off my bill and comped our breakfast bill. It was a decent way of handling the situation but definitely still could’ve been better. I’d like to try to stay here again because it is a really cute place but this was pretty unacceptable.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful view of JHU campus. Room is spacious and very clean. Like the water boiler not being a coffee maker by default. Parking garage is only 3 minutes away by walking. Great hotel!

We were attending an event in Baltimore. The room given was extremely small, dark, and had no natural light. We faced the back of the building. There was no area to get ready, such as put on makeup, blow dry, hair, etc. My husband and I left after one night, even though we had already paid for two nights. I have asked twice for an email receipt and have yet to receive one. They charged my card for the second night parking, even though we were not there. However, I did call and they reversed that charge. I don’t believe the hotel was fully booked, so I’m not sure why we got one of the smallest rooms. Also, I was aware that there would be a resort fee, but was unaware they also charge another $12 for an amenity fee. I have included the view of my very small window. When I booked this hotel, it shows a beautiful view of the other side of the building.

The hotel was very unique in that it had an art deco vibe throughout the hotel. The room was beautiful and had a historic feel to it. Dining at the Topside was amazing, great views with exquisite food.

Where the room was very clean it could have done with a face lift. The sofa & cabinet showed wear. There is no desk or chair so not convenient for any laptop work. The space in the room was not utilized very well. You could not watch TV from the bed if you wanted to. The bed was comfortable and seemed newer than the rest of the space.

Our first time at Hotel Revival, beautifully decorated hotel, with comfortable and creative pieces. Friendly staff. Highly recommend Dashery breakfast cafe on property, coffees and breakfast 5 stars. Topside rooftop restaurant was excellent. Our room remained a good temperature, quiet, relaxing with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend as a central location. We would stay again.

The hotel and the rooms are beautiful, is a nice boutique hotel with great restaurant options a few blocks away. I had two issues during my stay, 1) they did not do housekeeping one day, there was no logical explanation as the room was empty with no sign on the door for "do not disturb". 2) They triple charged me the stay room deposit, 4 days later, I still have not been refunded the over charged amount. To make it worst, they did not notified me of this triple charge until I went to the front desk and they realized the mistake "the system\' made. Besides this, is a great hotel and the staff is great also. Just be aware of their charges.

I had two issues during my stay, 1) they did not do housekeeping one day, there was no logical explanation as the room was empty with no sign on the door for "do not disturb". 2) They triple charged me the stay room deposit, 4 days later, I still have not been refunded the over charged amount. To make it worst, they did not notified me of this triple charge until I went to the front desk and they realized the mistake "the system\' made. Besides this, is a great hotel and the staff is great also. Just be aware of their charges.

The service in this hotel is exceptional! It's a rare gem! I stayed here for several days to move my daughter into college. EVERYONE on EVERY shift was lovely and accommodating! The doormen, front reception, the housekeepers, the customer service folks at the cafe and the speakeasy bar. Quite literally, everyone! Bartender D was a highlight!! The room was comfortable and felt modern-enough while giving old, historic charm vibes. One of the elevators went down during our stay, and we received a text message so that we could plan accordingly. I will most certainly be back. Hotel Revival helped make an emotional time pleasant and much more palatable.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent. We had a minor issue with our AC the 1st day, and it was fixed immediately. The Topside Restaurant was fantastic. We dined there twice during our stay. Our only criticism is there should have been advance notification about Valet parking of $49.00 per day.

Perfect experience. Oz at the reception has an impeccable customer service, and stands out among so many monotonous and generic receptionists. He offered several upgrades that we qualified for, advertised different services they have in the hotel and was beyond pleasant. The room interior has character and is cozy and clean.Wonderful stay.

My fiancé and I stayed at this property for our anniversary, just for a little 3 day trip. It was okay the room was clean and spacious for the most part. Went for my nieces wedding. We were able to check in early and Walter the Valet was incredibly friendly and professional. The room was clean. We are at Topside, rooftop dining in the hotel, which was just Ok. It was very noisy and I would not agree with a James Beard level cuisine as mentioned. Also, they closed the rooftop bar on a Saturday night for a private event so our wedding party couldn’t enjoy the bar and on Sunday night, the night of our wedding, they closed the bar at 9:00 just before our return to the hotel with a number of guests once again left with nothing. Very disappointing considering we occupied a good number of rooms

One of my favorite hotels in Baltimore. Great service, beautiful rooms, convenient location, great rooftop restaurant. The only drawbacks are the boiling your own coffee in the room (used to be pour-over, just switch to Nespresso already if you want to be fancy) and that the cafe doesn’t open until 7am and the food is kind of fussy. But I love staying here!

Staff was great! The rooftop bar/restaurant was closed for a private party which was unfortunate and inconvenient for me. Bathroom plumbing was questionable. The front desk made great effort to provide great service which I appreciated. Thank you to them!

The Hotel architecture, decor and overall vibe were amazing! The staff was excellent, accommodating and extremely helpful. They were able to answer all of our questions and direct us to everything we needed.
