The room and pools are very nice. However the pool basically closes at 5:00pm.

Is a great place if you want a quiet place with no much to do. The hotel is very small and doesn't have a lot amenities only 2 restaurants and two big pools, no shows at nigth. The food was great and the drinks. The rooms were great very clean and comfortable. The whole hotel were very well maintained and the service and the employees were very friendly. If you travel with kids there is no much to do they have a kids club that was good but that is all. Overall is a good experience based on I was looking for just to relax. The beach I was not anle to get in because the waives were very rough I guess due to the time of the year.

From the moment we stepped off the plane this resort thought of everything! Not having to spend $150 on a shuttle to the resort was so nice, the resort is smaller which is so nice so you’re not having to walk miles for anything, especially with kids. We got a swim out suite and oh my was is wonderful! They literally thought of everything from the bug spray, toiletries, robes, slippers, cleaned our room not once but TWICE a day. Left little surprises for our kids. Sun hats for a at the beach, brought our 5 year old who was celebrating her birthday a cake to the room, don’t worry about packing a bunch of clothes because they have a all in one washer and dryer and to top it off the FOOD was amazing, every night was something different and when i say this is a high end resort with delicious food and not just a. Buffet you get everywhere else that’s what i mean. Such friendly staff we don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. Amazing

Top notch resort, everything we saw was very well maintained and staff were excellent. Our Junior Suite room was gorgeous. On site grocery store was well stocked. Gym was clean and equipment of very good quiality. Some sections of outdoor walkways between pools can get slippery when wet so try to stay on the tiles with traction. Staff did an excellent job keeping things clean and safe during a heavy rainstorm.

Excellent location to relax , If you have kids , the kids club is amazing. Staff is so wonderful .

Grand Residences was well beyond our expectations, and definitely deserving of their 9.6 rating! Food was delicious at every meal, service was impeccable, and everything was top-notch clean. It’s definitely on the more relaxing and quiet end of resorts… Pool and bars outdoors close around 5 PM, but indoor lobby bar open until 10 PM, with 24-hr room service still available. Live music several evenings was wonderful!

From the free private pickup at the airport to our personal concierge, we had exceptional service from the moment we arrived! We felt like family as we arrived, spoken to by name, handed drinks we'd pre-ordered from the car, checked-in right away and then introduced to our concierge. She went over our dinner reservations for the week, gave us a brief tour of the resort and got us settled in. The resort was wonderfully accessible with ramps and elevators. We appreciated the care taken for the environment, lots of eco practices in place. The lounge chair reservation service was wonderful, no fighting over saving chairs, a huge relief! The beach servers were attentive but not pushy, we had all the drinks and food we needed each day and the ice lollies and fruit skewers that were handed out midday were a wonderful treat. The resort was kept incredibly clean and the staff worked tirelessly to tidy and take care of us. Our villa was very spacious and comfortable and our bathroom had large bath sheet towels (a huge plus for two women over 6ft tall!) The evening turn down service was a lovely bonus. 24-hour room service was a great option and the food and drink at each and every restaurant was exceptional. Two minor downsides: The time share push is real, but it wasn't overbearing. Our concierge tried, and tried and we said no thank you and that was sort of it. She was pretty attentive the first couple of days, texting and checking in, saying hi across the resort when she saw us -

Excellent, staff were brilliant. Felt looked after the whole time and a seamless experience from airport transportation to check-in. Concierge was brilliant in helping us sort activities and dinner for the week. We also had a free massage included from taking a presentation on time shares, they didn’t push this hard on us but perhaps because I’m on the right demographic for that. Could do with another restaurant and perhaps indoor swim / sauna facilities but that aside nothing really missing!

The service in this resort is exceptional. The staff are very nice and super friendly. The rooms are typical Hacienda style, spacious and beautiful. The resort has limited dining options but the food is great. The pool area services are great. They have good entertainment for kids and few for adults. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing resort this place is for you. The beach however is not the typical Cancun beach and there are a lot of seaweed and sometimes the smell can be too much. We personally like to stay at the hotel zone area. This resort was la bit boring for us.

This is our 3rd time at the the Grand Residences. They will pick you up from the airport in their own cars. Its only 20 min from the airport. you can reserve your chairs ahead of time for the beach and the service from the staff is outstanding.

Resort property was beautiful: lobby, pool, restaurant and room. Front desk staff and concierge were friendly, helpful and courteous. Room service food was delicious. Cons: Our room came with an outdoor jacuzzi but it was so dirty, we did not use it. Staff near the pool were not very helpful. We were told that we could order poolside but every time we asked a server, they directed us to the pool bar and snack bar. However, other guests around us were able to order from the lounge chairs. We booked a reservation for French night and the server took orders from guests that were seated after us. Kitchen staff got our order wrong, even when the waiter told us about our special requests.

Worst stay ever at an all inclusive. We were only there 2 nights and our room was not cleaned or made up on the one day we had. Staff threatened us with extra charges if we didn’t make it to our dinner reservations even though we had only 45 minutes after we arrived. Basically one restaurant that they split to call it two. There are so many other places to go that are not so remote and have a proper all-inclusive offering.

Room and grounds were spotless and well kept. The service was wonderful and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was not incredible but fine. They could use more options for restaurants/cafes/etc. Overall, excited we found a quiet getaway that let us relax.

The staff were very friendly and did an amazing job. Rooms were impeccable. Food was always good, the beach is kept clean. Lots of little touches that make it very memorable. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation, clean rooms, housekeeping did an excellent job supplying fresh towels daily and turn down service. Great choices at the restaurant, my husband who was vegetarian had no problems. Chef visited our table and prepared him a special meal, they also had a vegetarian menu. My only disappointment was the beach, it’s true that the sea is quite rocky in some area and the waves were rough. No fault of the hotel, but the scenery and sound of the waves was very relaxing. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to others.

This place was probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. They were constantly cleaning. I couldn’t find one spot that was dirty! And their customer service was amazing I felt like royalty here.

My two adult children and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The master suite was excellent. I enjoyed the Bose sound system and several TVs in the rooms. The suite is traditional styling and will likely appeal to older travelers. I had an excellent salmon dish and my two kids had good skirts steaks for dinner at Flor De Canela along with two very good musicians playing older songs which was quite entertaining, relaxing, and quite enjoyable. The hotel was right on the beach and my beachfront master suite provided a great place for me to record the sound of the ocean. It’s a quiet and just a really fantastic place to relax and enjoy the ocean. I would have enjoyed sleeping on a hammock outside while listening to the waves, but there was no hammock. My daughter and I also enjoyed a lap pool that we used to get some exercise. This is a great place for retirees or anyone just wanting to get away from the city vibe and be next to the ocean. The beach wasn’t really usable since there were many seaweeds in the water though.

Great service and the overall grounds and building and rooms was in immaculate shape. Small resort, but they keep it in excellent condition. Had an issue with AC, it was fixed within an hour. In room dining is solid. Definitely a relaxed place, not a party atmosphere.

Stunning! This hotel was amazing. Our family of 4 enjoyed a very relaxing week. Our children (18 & 19 yrs) slept on Murphy Beds and said they were uncomfortable. But that is our only complaint. We had a Master Suite and it was gorgeous. It was so big! The balcony had a private jacuzzi which we used often, 2 lounge chairs and a large 6 person table. The staff was incredible, always willing to help. The property was beautifully manicured. This is not a party hotel. There isn't much night life. But we had an amazing time that our family will never forget and I would return to this hotel in a heart beat. Book this hotel now. You will not be disappointed!

Had a wonderful stay with an upgrade to the larger master suite. The room was beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, great balcony (with jacuzzi tub) overlooking the pool and with a partial ocean view. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The spa./massage was an also really great, although it was rather expensive., it felt worth it. Food and beverages were also plentiful and very good. If you want a a great break with peace and quiet and pampering, this is a great option. For younger guests or if you want music, action and night life, it is probably too quiet for you, but we loved our (too short) visit!

The property was amazing. Tristan our concierge was outstanding! We had a master suite with private pool and delightful! Puerto Morelos very safe and close! Highly recommend!

I love my staying! The staff is very friendly and polite. Specially my concierge Ms Melissa. The transportation service from and to the airport was excellent, the driver Mr. Elias is wonderful and very professional. I recommend this hotel 100%. Very happy with my staying.

Our experience at this hotel was misleading, dishonest, and unacceptable. On the first day, our assigned concierge JANE MORON (CAREN) told us we would be receiving a free dolphin encounter tour. Separately—and with absolutely no connection—she said we were required to attend a 90-minute presentation or be charged 500 MXN. At no point did she state these two things were related. We have screenshots of the presentation consent form she made us sign — it clearly lists no benefits, no free tour, and no compensation. Nothing about a free dolphin tour whatsoever. After completing the presentation, we were given two papers (a “tour discount” and a $180 credit). Two different staff members — including the tour agent — explicitly confirmed that: • the dolphin tour had already been applied • the $180 credit could be used anywhere in the hotel Based on that information, we used the $180 for hotel purchases. But the day before checkout, we learned that the dolphin tour was never made free and the full charge remained on our account. Only then did the staff suddenly claim that we had to use the discount paper and the $180 credit together for the tour to be free — a condition no one ever disclosed. Not the concierge. Not the presentation staff. Not the tour agent. No one. This is a textbook bait-and-switch, with contradictory explanations and zero transparency. We ended up being charged over USD $100. We have photos of presentation agreement, which shown nothing related to the tour/credit

The food was delicious, fresh, and full of variety. The entire atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to come back!

We love the resort. Location, rooms, staff are all first class. Timeshare person was very disrespectful.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and well trained. The food is excellent.

The staff were the best part of the visit, especially when dining. It was a beautiful location, quiet, with three pools and amazing service. A couple of drawbacks. We went in October (rainy season) and with the seaweed, you could not swim off the beach. Also, we understand that many places are trying to keep their clientele but we are not in favour of timeshares. Which is one presentation that you need to participate in. However, the staff were not pushy and very knowledgeable, so it was manageable.

Overall if you want to relax and not leave the resort it’s perfect, but if your looking for clubs stay in Cancun, not puerto morales. It’s a cool place pools nice and good activities around but it was inconvenient to be 40-50 minutes away from all the fun

Although the location is not in a very popular hotel area, I am very satisfied with all the services. All the details are perfect, including a refrigerator full of drinks and snacks, 24-hour room service, which are very friendly to families with children. The large swimming pool, water bar and white sandy beach also meet our needs. All services are very respectful and considerate. If you plan to go to Xplor and Xcaret Park, the location of the hotel can save you half the journey and time. I strongly recommend this hotel to families who are going to Cancun for the first time.

Pros: beautiful, well-maintained property, very attentive and friendly staff, delicious food, easy transportation to and from the airport, quiet location, not crowded at all, a truly relaxing vacation, most guests were seniors or families with young children Cons: We visited in September not knowing seaweed at the beach was a problem, the winter months would be a better time to go. We were offered free salon services or excursions if we agreed to attend a 1 1/2 hour “presentation” so beware, it’s just a sales pitch to join a membership to their hotels

Amazing resort! The staff were friendly and attentive. The facilities were clean and usually actively cleaning the grounds. This is NOT a party resort, but it’s perfect if you just want to do a weekend getaway and enjoy some beautiful views and delicious food!

The customer service and hospitality was top-notch! Our conceriege, Liza, was extremely helpful - made our dinner reservations and reminded us daily. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire resort and the peaceful laidback atmosphere. Just a quick 5-7 min taxi ride to the Puerto Morelos town square where you can walk among the shops, enjoy ice cream, and do some souvenir shopping.

Room service food was not great. However, service and staff were exceptionally kind and professional. Wonderful experience. Just not the best food. Was expecting more from that area being such a high end resort.

Breakfast had great food and a wide variety. Lunch was tasty but repetitive, with the same dishes every day. Dinner was always excellent, especially on the French-themed night.

Food was hit and miss... it was better to order food to be made fresh off the menu instead of the buffet. Pasta was NOT good. Steak was good and the breakfasts and lunch at Heaven was always good. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the resort and our room, and quiet environment of the resort the most and the ocean view being visible from any place on the grounds. If the food improved, we would come back again. The beach was beautiful and the service provided by the staff was great!

Great amenities for most part. They should stick to Mexican food because pizza was awful and other Italian style dishes weren’t great either but the other foods they made were good. Room service was pretty slow but property was beautiful and relaxing and staff was helpful, kind. Appreciated the extra little things done for us as we were celebrating our anniversary.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Residences Riviera Cancún! The property itself is stunning — beautiful architecture, immaculate grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The service was truly exceptional; every staff member we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. The food overall was good, and we especially enjoyed the à la carte dining options and room service. However, the buffet could use some improvement in terms of variety and quality compared to other resorts we've visited. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not quite at the same level as the rest of the resort experience. One thing to note is that the location is a bit isolated — it’s not within walking distance to shops or major attractions, so if you’re looking to explore, you’ll need transportation. That said, the tranquility and seclusion are part of the charm if you're looking for a true getaway. Despite the minor notes, we would absolutely return. The beautiful setting, outstanding service, and overall quality make Grand Residences Riviera Cancún a place we look forward to visiting again.

Solid 3 stars 1)Food Very low food variety Realistically Only 1 restaurant on the property but they change the name of it daily some meals have been good some not eatable. At the French restaurant my wife ordered tenderloin stake but she received some cheap sirloin and trust me I tried it too and I know my stakes. 24/7 Room service made up for restaurants just a little so over all food receive 3 stars. 2)Room We got Master suite on the main floor with private terrace and pool/ hot tub. Room was really good. 5 stars 3)Entertainment Dose not exist at the property pretty much. 1 Star 4)Beach Beach is rocky and dirty with no available lounge chairs ever. I’ll give them a break since it was storming couple of first days. 3 stars. 5)Service Service was ok no major complaints. 3.5 stars. PS. if you order some straight liquor make sure they open new bottle in the front of you and watch them pour it. Couple of times when I ordered Don Julio Blanco they purred some cheap Tequila in my glass that I could not even smell not to mention drink and I know my liquors very well.

Excellent! The only area for improvement is the food. Wish the food was better. But the resort was definitely worth it!

What I didn't like is the food. There's not much choice when it comes to food. I have went to other resorts in Cancun and the food was better, more options. I will not go to this resort again.

If you are looking for a quiet, smaller, more intimate all inclusive vacation this resort is for you. Great food, clean property, very attentive staff. Tips are expected. You will get a cheque with the zero balance at the end of each meal with a tip option. Smart way to encourage tips. The day entertainment team were so much fun! Alejandra, Grecia, Mishele are the best!!! There isn’t a lot of evening entertainment but it wasn’t a problem. The evenings were quiet and enjoyable. A bit of a construction going on around the property, but the management did a good job to keep it somewhat discrete and not disruptive.
