Had high expectations and were more than impressed! Parking was easy and free, lobby was beautiful and welcoming, staff was friendly and proactive. Our room was lovely and clean and had all the features we love: dimmable lights, strong water pressure in the shower, 2 chairs, and an A/C that made us forget the heat. Also loved that the tv had a useful on-screen programming guide and access to streaming services.

Nice little boutique hotel in an active part of town. Convenient to downtown and Edmond area. Very clean room. Pleasant, friendly staff…front desk and housekeeping were both helpful with questions. Convenient, free parking. Would definitely stay again.

I loved the pool and the pool bar! John was so friendly and made us the best drinks! I love the spicy Paloma. It was our 22nd wedding anniversary and we loved our stay at the Ellison! Magical!

I called to see if we could possibly check in a little bit early or if we could hang out at the pool until a room was ready and the front desk attendant was extremely friendly and helpful. He got us into our room and we were able to hit the rooftop pool. The pool and bar area are beautiful- great couch areas to hang out in the shade and the drinks were fantastic (~$10 for cocktails). The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, a great place to stay. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to make sure you have a great stay. It should be noted, the room (double Queen) was small; it was fine for two people but would be really tight with any more than that. My only complaint is the towels. They are cheap quality and many of them were stained. The staff did have fresh ones sent up, but something like that should never happen. It soured an otherwise great stay.

The property is beautiful & in a great location. However we had to check out 6 days earlier than planned. The humidity in our room was outrageous. The tile was slick & the carpet was wet. Not good! Called down to the front desk, offered to move us then advised my husband they didn't have any other rooms available. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Great place but falls down a bit on a few things: 1. Cheap stuff & scratchy toilet tissue and facial tissue 2. Inexpensive sheets - low thread count and they don't feel smooth 3. Badly laid out cramped room:. In a double Queen room, there's only 6" clear on each bed side that's by the window or wall. The bed by the window has no room to get by b/c the drapes take up the space. Designers needed to find a less wide chest between the beds. We asked to be moved and the front desk said all the rooms are the same way! 4. No mirror in the room to get ready while partner is occupying the bathroom. 5. The barn door closure is kind of dangerous b/c it's heavy & auto-closes the last few inches! Easy to get pinched or fingers smashed. it's very hard to start opening even for those of us that work out 3x/week!! 6. We do not care for a sheet with a heavy comforter on top. Traditional blankets and bedspreads are easier to manage for the right amount of warmth. Pros: 1. plenty of outlets and USB ports 2. Blackout drapes 3. Keurig coffee set up 4. Cold drawer is interesting idea but not very helpful? Was told would not be suitable for milk. 5. Appreciated having the Safe for valuables 6. Free coffee service in the lobby is nice (but no decaf) 7. Appreciated having one of the bathroom lights on a dimmer. Ditto for uplights behind the headboard

HIghlights: Television that could stream, magnifying mirror in bathroom, robes in the room, wine refrigerator and refrigerator drawer, and wonderful beds. Staff was lovely. Did not like: Room was too small - two queen beds only allowed for one chair and a small round table - difficult to work on. Only mirror was in the bathroom. We were on the ground floor and the windows were not tinted - we waked outside and could see directly into the room when the curtains were open. No towel rods in the bathroom.

Super cute hotel with great style just outside of Oklahoma City. We only stayed here one night, but really enjoyed it. The only negative was the A/C didn't work well at all (neither did the fridge) and when we called down, we were told it would be looked at but no-one ever followed up and it wasn't fixed while we were there.

Overall, it was a pretty great experience our first room. However, the air conditioning didn't work which is no good in Oklahoma in the summer, but the staff was absolutely amazing! They moved us into the room next door and after that everything was great. I would also like to say that the pool upstairs was a great place to hang out and I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning. It was amazing

I've requested a mini-fridge throughout my (4) stays and only once was the hotel able to accommodate the request. I understand it's a boutique hotel but it should really have at the very least a refrigerator as the "cooling drawer" serves no purpose. Thank you.

Our luggage was lost, and Wallace reslly went above and beyond. We stay here whenever we are in OKC. The onsite restaurant is amazing, we barely ventured out..except for the bartender's awesome restaurant suggestions which were both fantastic. Great customer service, comfy, updated and clean rooms.

The staff at the Ellison go above & beyond, their compassion, kindness and understanding completely saved a horrendous situation. I had a VRBO booked & when I had arrived the house was trashed, the host had said the location was double booked & I had lugged groceries all the way from Dallas to host a dinner party which was due to arrive in one hour. The Ellison was the only solution for a place for us to stay… when I checked in with Jasmyn I was literally shaking from stress & frustration, nearly on the verge of tears about the situation and she handled my drama like an absolute PRO. She was kind and listened and helped me check into my room with ten minutes to spare before my friends arrived. When I was bringing our bags up to the room the manager Aaron stepped in to say he could offer a mini fridge to help salvage some of my groceries & I could not be more thankful for his empathy. His quick thinking to solve a problem that was something he “needed” to do but felt compelled to help a guest stuck in a tricky situation & his thoughtfulness is such a rare trait to find these days… I cannot thank both Jasmyn & Aaron enough for all they did. As for the hotel itself! The only room they had available as a standard king, it was on the smaller side but they packed it full of all the amenities to make it comfortable. I loved the modern feel of the hotel, plenty of sitting areas for me and my friends to visit. The entire property was clean, well lit, modern, and safe.

I really liked this property. The area around it was nice, it was conveniently located, there is a Whole Foods literally next door. The décor is nice and modern. It was quite and the safety measures are excellent. When I travel I try to find locations where I can go by myself and not feel like I stick out as a newbie in the area. This trip was with my son and he said to mention that it is a "judgement free" zone. He was not dressed appropriately but the staff didn\'t look or talk down to him, they were all courteous and helpful. Bottom line, next time I am in OKC, THIS is where I will stay. Great place!

We had a great stay! Enjoyed a little friend staycation. Dinner at Milo and an evening of drinks at the pool. It was lovely. This hotel is the so cute right in the middle of OKC!

Great stay! The restaurant MILO leaves much to be desired, but “Okie local” food tends to be very similar. The quality of the food was good, but definitely leaves much to be desired as the menu is quite antiquated and pedestrian to be considered “fine” dining. Chef Kurt Fleischfresser offered similar menus across the street at the Coach House back in the 90’s. Update, excite and dazzle… take some risks!!

Second stay at the Ellison and as usual it was lovely! The staff is by far the friendliest I have encountered I travel for work often and they this is my favorite hotel. I have stayed here twice now after a surgery so to say it is the beds are fantastic is saying a lot. It really is extremely comfortable, amazing food at the Milo, will back to stay again and continue to recommend to others.
