We travelled from Australia and was looking for a property close to 17th street. The location was perfect the neighbourhood beautiful and quiet. The Host was AMAZING so helpful and very fast responses. The house it’s self was perfect the kids spent loads of time in the heated pool and spa, lots of towels were available which is very helpful. The beds and the linen were very comfy! The house was spotless and the 2 bathrooms and kitchen were beautiful. LOVED this property would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family house in this area.

I rented the property with a group of friends and we all loved our stay! The house was clean, quiet, and was equipped with everything we needed. We loved both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Easy parking in the garage and on the street. Close to everything. We walked the neighborhood in the morning, and loved hanging by the pool in the afternoons and evenings. The outdoor fridge was super helpful to have for additional cold storage. Overall a great experience and we would definitely rent the property again!

This home is everything the listing shows it as and more. So well stocked and pristine clean as other reviews have mentioned. The owner is very pleasant and was always available for a question or advice. Neighborhood is lovely and very quiet considering how close the homes are to each other and to the busy commercial area a few blocks away, which is also a huge plus for groceries and pretty much anything else you may need or want. The pool and jacuzzi are in excellent condition and very clean and it is a SALT water pool! What a treat to not have to swim in chlorinated water! Back yard is truly an oasis and so relaxing to sit amongst the lights and plants and fire pit at night. The owner has thought of everything and that is a rarity in the vacation rental world. The beach and access to Pacific Coast Highway is literally a few minutes down the road. There is no local hotel, fancy or otherwise that can compete with this home for value, privacy, quiet and comfort. Vrbo needs to offer the option of more than Five stars. A real gem. Do not hesitate.

Although it may have been better to stay on the beach for some, this home was a perfect location for us. The pool and hot tub were amazing, the off street parking was great and the host was so communicative and helpful. The house is literally 10 min from the beachy tourist area, but gets you away from the noise. Loved it!

We stayed here with our daughter's family to visit Disneyland. The house was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, etc. The backyard space with pool, hot tub, plenty of privacy and spacious outdoor dining area was the highlight of our stay, especially for our grandson who loved the pool. Our host Jan, reached out to us immediately to make sure everything was good and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this home and will definitely stay here again.

Jan definitely understands the needs of her guests! The house was stocked with good toilet paper, paper towels, zip locks, dish soap, dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, and wash cloths! So often when renting a VRBO I find that you have to purchase all of the above. Kitchen was stocked and it was easy to prepare meals. We really enjoyed using the pool with our family. Beds, bedding and towels were all nice quality and comfortable. My only recommendation is one of the bedrooms was rather large and could have easily accommodated a King size bed instead of a a Queen. Jan is easy to contact and responds quickly. It was a very pleasant stay with plenty of room for everyone. We spent most of our time out on the patio around the pool. We even entertained my niece’s family for dinner a couple of times. The location was perfect, close to everything, Side Car Donuts and Plums Cafe are 2 of my daughters favorites! Also having 2 parking spaces was great as street parking gets filled up. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Thank you for sharing your house Jan!

This house was absolutely perfect for my family. We swam in the beautiful, warm saltwater pool for hours. The hot tub was right by the pool and also super enjoyable. The house was well-appointed, inside and out, and also had comfortable furniture. I have encountered vacation rentals that seem to be more concerned with online photos rather than comfort; this house was comfortable inside and out. Nice beds and bedding, towels, even beach toys were available. We would love to stay here again. Many wonderful restaurants were walkable nearby; we enjoyed In-N-Out, Hanuman Thai and El Matador. It was also a super-quick ride to the beach. It really was our best vacation house experience. Thank you so much to our host!

Awesome property! House is clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The property is well-maintained, and everything is in good working order, including the washer and dryer. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and small appliances you will need.We enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful backyard patio/pool area in the evenings - it's just as beautiful as the photos show.Having a garage was important as finding street parking is pretty difficult. The garage accommodates small to medium vehicles only.If you are a beach-goer, the provided beach gear (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards) is very convenient, and the beach is just a 10 minute drive.Check-in was very easy and communication with the host is almost instantaneous. I had a couple of questions and received a reply within minutes each time.This property is definitely a jewel, and we are looking forward to booking again!

The property was very clean, comfortable and incredibly well-stocked (beach gear, cooking essentials, linens, and even a first aid kit). I forgot to request pool heating and the owner responded immediately to my request-she quickly to turn on the heater so we could enjoy the pool our first evening.

Nice secluded getaway tucked into a quiet neighborhood with newly renovated and updated amenities. House was clean, well equipped, very cozy, great outdoor area, secluded and private, new appliances, fresh paint and comfortable beds. I wish I was staying longer but I will definitely be back!

This house was the perfect place to stay for our daughter's graduation from UC Irvine. The location can't be beat - the beach, the university and restaurants were just a few minutes away. The property was super clean and amazingly well-appointed with all the little things that make a rental property comfortable - coffee and filters, lots of towels, high quality soap and shampoo. Even ziplocks! The manager was very responsive and even a minor pool issue (which didn't affect our enjoyment) was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The outside patio and pool area is definitely a highlight. It's amazing how close this house is to major streets (and thus the access), but the backyard is truly a quiet oasis.

We were a party of 7 girls - it was a sister/aunt/nieces/cousin long weekend getaway. The house was perfect. We cooked breakfast in the morning, spent the day out and about, and came back to the house to grill, float in the pool and relax in the hot tub. Just one note- the house comfortably accommodates 7 people, but the futon is more of a sleeping mat than a futon (frame and mattress). My sister lives nearby and she ended up bringing an air mattress.

Our family immediately felt at home in this gorgeous place. It was stocked with every amenity we could have possibly needed! We found ourselves spending more time hanging out poolside, over adventuring around town. It was truly the perfect place to rest and recharge.

Nice secluded getaway tucked into a quiet neighborhood with newly renovated and updated amenities. House was clean, well equipped, very cozy, great outdoor area, secluded and private, new appliances, fresh paint and comfortable beds. I wish I was staying longer but I will definitely be back!

Jan definitely understands the needs of her guests! The house was stocked with good toilet paper, paper towels, zip locks, dish soap, dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, and wash cloths! So often when renting a VRBO I find that you have to purchase all of the above. Kitchen was stocked and it was easy to prepare meals. We really enjoyed using the pool with our family. Beds, bedding and towels were all nice quality and comfortable. My only recommendation is one of the bedrooms was rather large and could have easily accommodated a King size bed instead of a a Queen. Jan is easy to contact and responds quickly. It was a very pleasant stay with plenty of room for everyone. We spent most of our time out on the patio around the pool. We even entertained my niece’s family for dinner a couple of times. The location was perfect, close to everything, Side Car Donuts and Plums Cafe are 2 of my daughters favorites! Also having 2 parking spaces was great as street parking gets filled up. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Thank you for sharing your house Jan!

This house was absolutely perfect for my family. We swam in the beautiful, warm saltwater pool for hours. The hot tub was right by the pool and also super enjoyable. The house was well-appointed, inside and out, and also had comfortable furniture. I have encountered vacation rentals that seem to be more concerned with online photos rather than comfort; this house was comfortable inside and out. Nice beds and bedding, towels, even beach toys were available. We would love to stay here again. Many wonderful restaurants were walkable nearby; we enjoyed In-N-Out, Hanuman Thai and El Matador. It was also a super-quick ride to the beach. It really was our best vacation house experience. Thank you so much to our host!

The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and small appliances you will need.We enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful backyard patio/pool area in the evenings - it's just as beautiful as the photos show.Having a garage was important as finding street parking is pretty difficult. We travelled from Australia and was looking for a property close to 17th street. The location was perfect the neighbourhood beautiful and quiet. The Host was AMAZING so helpful and very fast responses. The house it’s self was perfect the kids spent loads of time in the heated pool and spa, lots of towels were available which is very helpful. The beds and the linen were very comfy! The house was spotless and the 2 bathrooms and kitchen were beautiful. LOVED this property would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family house in this area.

Our stay was perfect. Host was so kind and responsive. Even chatted with me I. The weeks prior to arrival for ideas on what to do and see. House is immaculate and adorable. Pool and hot tub were great. House is well stocked w necessities and we were able to Instacart groceries very easily. We will absolutely be back and are so thankful for the great week!!!!!

We stayed here with our daughter's family to visit Disneyland. The house was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, etc. The backyard space with pool, hot tub, plenty of privacy and spacious outdoor dining area was the highlight of our stay, especially for our grandson who loved the pool. Our host Jan, reached out to us immediately to make sure everything was good and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this home and will definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean, comfortable and incredibly well-stocked (beach gear, cooking essentials, linens, and even a first aid kit). I forgot to request pool heating and the owner responded immediately to my request-she quickly to turn on the heater so we could enjoy the pool our first evening.

This house was the perfect place to stay for our daughter's graduation from UC Irvine. The location can't be beat - the beach, the university and restaurants were just a few minutes away. The property was super clean and amazingly well-appointed with all the little things that make a rental property comfortable - coffee and filters, lots of towels, high quality soap and shampoo. Even ziplocks! The manager was very responsive and even a minor pool issue (which didn't affect our enjoyment) was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The outside patio and pool area is definitely a highlight. It's amazing how close this house is to major streets (and thus the access), but the backyard is truly a quiet oasis.

I rented the property with a group of friends and we all loved our stay! The house was clean, quiet, and was equipped with everything we needed. We loved both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Easy parking in the garage and on the street. Close to everything. We walked the neighborhood in the morning, and loved hanging by the pool in the afternoons and evenings. The outdoor fridge was super helpful to have for additional cold storage. Overall a great experience and we would definitely rent the property again!

All and all the house is nice. The backyard is great unfortunately the location it’s surrounded by apartment buildings and every morning we’d wake up to a homeless person sleeping across the street from the property. With young girls didn’t feel comfortable with them, walking our dog in the morning or at night.

This home is everything the listing shows it as and more. So well stocked and pristine clean as other reviews have mentioned. The owner is very pleasant and was always available for a question or advice. Neighborhood is lovely and very quiet considering how close the homes are to each other and to the busy commercial area a few blocks away, which is also a huge plus for groceries and pretty much anything else you may need or want. The pool and jacuzzi are in excellent condition and very clean and it is a SALT water pool! What a treat to not have to swim in chlorinated water! Back yard is truly an oasis and so relaxing to sit amongst the lights and plants and fire pit at night. The owner has thought of everything and that is a rarity in the vacation rental world. The beach and access to Pacific Coast Highway is literally a few minutes down the road. There is no local hotel, fancy or otherwise that can compete with this home for value, privacy, quiet and comfort. Vrbo needs to offer the option of more than Five stars. A real gem. Do not hesitate.

Although it may have been better to stay on the beach for some, this home was a perfect location for us. The pool and hot tub were amazing, the off street parking was great and the host was so communicative and helpful. The house is literally 10 min from the beachy tourist area, but gets you away from the noise. Loved it!

Stay here! It’s amazing! Hostess thought of everything!I was so impressed with the intention and purpose the hostess put into her home for us to stay there. It’s very clean! I’m picky and I give it the white glove approval! Living room: warm and inviting with boardgames. Decorated very cute! The bathroom: nice towels, hostess provided thoughtful necessities. Again, very pretty decor.Bedrooms: the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Everything feels new. Mattresses were in great condition! Kitchen: utensils, pots, dishes and all kitchen items placed with thoughtfulness. Outside: quality pool towels, the patio furniture is in excellent condition. Plenty of space to have dinner on patio. Decor was very nice! Laundry room: hostess thoughtfully included laundry soap. Clean washer and dryer. There isn’t one negative to this beautiful home. I have traveled a lot and have been mightily disappointed in some of the locations I have stayed. But this place is a beauty! Well done!

Clean and comfortable with great back yard pool and hot tub. Well stocked kitchen and a good location in Costa Mesa. Owner was easy to communicate with and she made it easy to check in. We plan on staying again!
