Although we assumed that it was in the woods, we were dissappointed, it was still a great get away. It's located on a block with other houses, although it was nice and quiet we rarely saw anyone. The backyard is large enough with the fabulous juccuzi and a large patio, swing, and fire pit. Wonderful for sitting at night with the light-up deck. Being in the summer there were lots of ants and mosquitoes but the owners were checking and treating them and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. If you like watching deer, they made their presence everyday, i saw my first buck. Their antlers were an awesome sight! The games, especially pool, and darts were great. Something to do even if you don’t go anywhere in the city. Thank you, we really enjoyed spending our vacation and sightseeing here!

Nice place to stay. We enjoyed our first trip to Cape Girardeau. Place was clean and welcoming. Bed slept great. Cabin was nice. Hot tub was clean. I was able to build a small campfire.

It was a very nice cabin, the hot tub was not up to par. The pool table, darts and lay-out was nice. Very quiet area and the no partying rule was adhered to. However, we had a instructions on putting linen's in hamper, clearing all trash which I thought should be part of the cleaning fee. The host was nice and when questioned about the hot tub were provided possible solutions of course it was at checkout. This was my first use of VRBO and overall I will probably use it again.

We have stayed at this property a few times and loved it. This time the cabin wasnt very clean (dust on beams and furniture; the floor was dirty). I assumed it had been cleaned that day because there was a towel soaked in cleaner on the floor next to the front door. There was barely any toilet paper. The hot tub was very sudsy from something. I used the skimmer to try to clean it out but it just built up again within a couple minutes. We had positive experiences in the past here, hopefully it was just an off night..

Upon our arrival it appeared previous days people were still there as bed wasnt made and laundry going and pules of stuff in various places, etc. Then we got a knock on the door from the housekeeper who thought the place was vacant for the night and thought we just booked. Apparently vrbo doesnt communicate well with the home owners.

This cabin was very cozy and has everything you need. We ended up spending most of the weekend just hanging out at the cabin because there was no need to leave. We have already recommended it to friends to book and we will also be returning to it!

The cabin is in the city but you feel like you are out in the country. We stayed during the heavy rains that blanketed the midwest with tornados, etc. But, we were comfortable and cozy. We managed to use the hot tub during a brief break in the storm. Bed was comfortable.

The host were able to accommodate us for a last minute stay. They were great at communication and helpful. While we got there late, it was actually perfect as we watched a deer and looked at the stars from the property in the hottub. There is no light switch as you enter as a heads up for anyone who comes at night. We shot pool, played darts and dominos, warmed up dinner and breakfast. While the felt on the pool table and place shows some wear scratches on floor furniture futon etc, it was a great getaway. A spacious beautiful setting just a couple of hours from St. Louis.

We absolutely enjoyed the stay. The hot tub in the evening was wonderful as it was a heat advisory during the day. The inside AC worked wonderful, so we enjoyed being inside playing pool. Property manager was very nice and welcoming. Will book again!

My partner and I had a great time staying here! Super accomodating host, even when we had a last minute change and needed to adjust the reservation, all was taken care of in less than a few hours. We were only in town a couple of nights for a family celebration, but this cabin was a great place to come back and relax at the end of the day. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

My friends and I went to Cape Girardeau for a girl's trip and wanted to stay somewhere local that wasn't a hotel. We're glad we found this cozy cabin! The hot tub and pool table were awesome, and being close to town but not directly in it was very convenient.
