This is a gorgeous boutique hotel in Polanco (one of the most exclusive parts of CDMX). It is close to the shops and restaurants - all walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are snacks put out during the day. Wine is available as well (I think you have to pay for that though). Breakfast is also really good.

This was my second time at Pugseal. It is my absolute favorite place to stay in Mexico City. Gorgeous hotel, delicious breakfast, wonderful smelling eco products and such friendly staff. Special shout out to Giovanna, Enyar and Israel! They helped me organize a work meeting and I booked a massage that was also top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was fantastic! The food was really great and the service was amazing. It's on a quiet street very close to one of the main roads in the Polanco neighborhood. Lots of high-end shops and a ton of restaurants nearby. We felt very safe to walk around both during the day and at night. The room was very clean - totally worth every penny.

Overall it’s a very pretty property with very accommodating and friendly staff. There were several cons though: 1. They had this very perfumey smell throughout the hotel and if you are sensitive to smells, this maybe an issue for you. 2. Some rooms do not have windows that face outdoors, instead they face into the hotel stairs. 3. Breakfast and coffee is included but it’s just decent. If you really want amazing breakfast I would go out to the local restaurants. Overall the staff are wonderful but I wish I knew the above before I booked.

For over 200 dollars a night (I guess it was an amazing deal) my daughter and I got to stay in a room without a window, the only natural light source was from a glass door, which opened to the staircase, where everyone walked all the time. My mom got the same room set up. In my room electrical circuits were messed up (room 14) and I could only use an outlet to charge my phone when the main lights were on. The pillows were AWFUL. I could not use any of them and had to make my own pillow out of a bathrobe, stuffing it inside a pillow case. The only real "amenity" in this place is their "gourmet breakfast" which really is an overrated selection of the same basic food: eggs and beans, prepared in an OK manner. Places outside of the hotel had AMAZING breakfast. The smell of the entrance way and in the cafeteria is of some kind of cleaning substance, very strong and overpowering. Had I known, I would have rented a B&B for the same price. The area is very nice. I definitely would NOT return to this hotel.

Beautiful property. Location was wonderful and safe. Breakfast was great and they will also make you a customized breakfast if you like. The staff was so friendly. The rooms were spacious and the decor was great. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Beautiful architectural and design details. Friendliest staff! Great à la carte breakfast. Perfect neighbourhood. We loved our stay and can't wait to return. Only complaint is that that rooms with two beds don't have access to natural light.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone! The hotel is so interesting and beautiful, and the staff is outstanding. So thoughtful and attentive. And the breakfasts we had were so delicious! The only little complaint I have is that our room was on the inside of the hotel and we did not have a window. But still I would go back in a nanosecond!

I reserved and paid for deluxe king size room of 366 ft.² as advertised, on Expedia, however, we was given the room the total of 13’ x 15’=195 ft.², which was very small and very uncomfortable. As I paid for it during the check-in process, neither Expedia or Pug Seal Polanco Allan Poe hotel would not compensate us for a product or service we paid for, but didn’t receive. Therefore, I would not recommend this property to others unless you inspect the room before you pay for it during check-in.

This is an outstanding boutique hotel in the heart of Polanco which is a nice upscale neighborhood. The property is a very elegant old mansion that was converted into a very nice hotel. The breakfast alone which is included is worth the stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Loved this hotel so much. Delicious breakfast, cute rooms, amazingly decorated property in a great neighborhood full of shopping and restaurants. The service was amazing and person at the front desk was able to help us with sightseeing and restaurant reservations. We had the best time and I would come back!!!
