My friend and I unfortunately had one of our good friends pass away about a month ago, and this weekend was his memorial service in Albuquerque. I booked this location because it has a king size bed, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access and was only about a 15 minute drive from where the memorial service was going to take place. It was 100% perfect for our needs. There is an adorable front porch with chairs for sitting in the evening with a cocktail or having coffee and chatting in the morning. There’s also an area with Adirondack chairs where you could kick back and relax. The unit itself is I want to say maybe a converted garage I’m not 100% sure on that, but you would never know. There was a bathroom with all types of pretty Mexican tile, and essentials such as shampoo, hair dryer, body wash. Fluffy towels! The main floor was ceramic tile covered with beautiful rugs. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept like rocks both nights. As others have mentioned, the coffee bar contained cereals and milk for the cereal, including almond milk for those who are avoiding dairy. And a little bit of fruit! We ended up not eating any of it, but it was nice that it was provided. A coffee maker and a Brita water filter that was filled to the brim, plates, cups, drinking glasses, silverware - more than enough for two people. And also a cute little dining room table, should you want to eat your breakfast at the table. Perfection!

We overnighted in Albuquerque on our way to Colorado. The Guest Suite was just as it is pictured! You pull through the gate and see the sign that designates the guest parking. It was very clean and welcoming. They thought of the little details. There was a coffee/tea bar and 2 types of cereal. In the mini fridge there was water, milk abd fruit cups! After a long day on the road it was a nice touch! It was so quite and peaceful. Highly recommend!

This is a small stand-alone building behind the owner’s house, with secured parking and a large outdoor seating area for guests. Very quiet and safe overnight. Inside, the room somehow manages to be both cozy and luxurious. Soft and clean sheets and towels, a memory foam mattress, and complimentary cereal and fruit for breakfast. Check in was super easy, with the code of your choice on the lock. The hosts were quickly responsive but respectful of the guest’s privacy. Perfect for a single traveler or couple!

Tranquilo was perfect! The host was great and has included almost anything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As a woman traveling alone, I especially appreciated the gated entry. The property was quiet, well maintained and the grounds were lovely. Emails and texts were quick to receive responses, check in was seamless, bed comfy, interior well appointed, and the location is convenient to popular Albuquerque attractions, easy interstate access, near the airport and good places to eat nearby. Would definitely choose Tranquilo again!

Tranquilo was a great place to stay. The guest suite is extremely clean, quiet, and close to a lot of amenities. The bed is very comfortable and the suite itself is furnished and decorated beautifully. Flora, the owner, is extremely courteous and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this little cottage to anyone visiting Albuquerque.

We felt so cared for at Flora’s rental. The king bed was firm, kitchen chairs and table comfortable to sit at. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the breakfast items and coffee supplied. It was the perfect place to start our New Mexico adventures! Flora is extremely responsive. Would stay here again if in the area.

I had everything I needed, quiet, comfy, and easy. The decor, furniture, everything was very artistic. The bed itself is a work of art. Little touches like hooks in the walls make it easier for travelers who need to hang things! There is no kitchen sink but that was easy enough to work around, with the water dispenser there in the kitchen area. Little touches like a small container of milk and some cereal made it more special (watched TV late at night and had Cheerios, like a little kid). I hardly know how to operate and proportion out grinds for the coffee maker, so I found myself wishing it was a Keurig instead. I'd love to know more about the property as it's an intriguing, large sprawling property with garden beds being underutilized.

Everything was great! Flora communicated quickly, easy check in. It was close to old town and Hwy 40 so access was easy. Nice amenities-coffee, fruit, water,shampoo…highly recommend!

We loved how centrally located the property was to lots of restaurants and a winery just down the street and old town. The cool morning weather made The porch very pleasant during my morning coffee.

Everything was great! Flora communicated quickly, easy check in. It was close to old town and Hwy 40 so access was easy. Nice amenities-coffee, fruit, water,shampoo…highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. The place was in the back of a lot on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. About 4-5 miles north of Old Town, but it was real easy to get around town, as very near to both I25 and I40. Had all the amenities that are advertised and more than what you would find in most hotel rooms.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. The place was in the back of a lot on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. About 4-5 miles north of Old Town, but it was real easy to get around town, as very near to both I25 and I40. Really enjoy the location, casual atmosphere of room and property. Very quiet, convenient to Old Town, I-40, just about everything. Gated at night. Second time there. Recommended for no-frill stay.

We felt so cared for at Flora’s rental. The king bed was firm, kitchen chairs and table comfortable to sit at. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the breakfast items and coffee supplied. It was the perfect place to start our New Mexico adventures! Flora is extremely responsive. Would stay here again if in the area.

I had everything I needed, quiet, comfy, and easy. The decor, furniture, everything was very artistic. The bed itself is a work of art. Little touches like hooks in the walls make it easier for travelers who need to hang things! There is no kitchen sink but that was easy enough to work around, with the water dispenser there in the kitchen area. Little touches like a small container of milk and some cereal made it more special (watched TV late at night and had Cheerios, like a little kid). I hardly know how to operate and proportion out grinds for the coffee maker, so I found myself wishing it was a Keurig instead. I'd love to know more about the property as it's an intriguing, large sprawling property with garden beds being underutilized.

My friend and I unfortunately had one of our good friends pass away about a month ago, and this weekend was his memorial service in Albuquerque. I booked this location because it has a king size bed, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access and was only about a 15 minute drive from where the memorial service was going to take place. It was 100% perfect for our needs. There is an adorable front porch with chairs for sitting in the evening with a cocktail or having coffee and chatting in the morning. There’s also an area with Adirondack chairs where you could kick back and relax. The unit itself is I want to say maybe a converted garage I’m not 100% sure on that, but you would never know. There was a bathroom with all types of pretty Mexican tile, and essentials such as shampoo, hair dryer, body wash. Fluffy towels! The main floor was ceramic tile covered with beautiful rugs. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept like rocks both nights. As others have mentioned, the coffee bar contained cereals and milk for the cereal, including almond milk for those who are avoiding dairy. And a little bit of fruit! We ended up not eating any of it, but it was nice that it was provided. A coffee maker and a Brita water filter that was filled to the brim, plates, cups, drinking glasses, silverware - more than enough for two people. And also a cute little dining room table, should you want to eat your breakfast at the table. Perfection!

We overnighted in Albuquerque on our way to Colorado. The Guest Suite was just as it is pictured! You pull through the gate and see the sign that designates the guest parking. It was very clean and welcoming. They thought of the little details. There was a coffee/tea bar and 2 types of cereal. In the mini fridge there was water, milk abd fruit cups! After a long day on the road it was a nice touch! It was so quite and peaceful. Highly recommend!

This is a small stand-alone building behind the owner’s house, with secured parking and a large outdoor seating area for guests. Very quiet and safe overnight. Inside, the room somehow manages to be both cozy and luxurious. Soft and clean sheets and towels, a memory foam mattress, and complimentary cereal and fruit for breakfast. Check in was super easy, with the code of your choice on the lock. The hosts were quickly responsive but respectful of the guest’s privacy. Perfect for a single traveler or couple!

We were moving our son out of his dorm at UNM and appreciated the secure parking behind a gate when our car was full of his belongings. The host even woke up early to ensure the gate was open as we left super early for our roadtrip back home. Clean room and comfy bed! Would definitely stay here again!

Was a perfect get away for a couple. The casita was very welcoming and clean. Driving into the property made was nice knowing there was a nice surrounding making the area pretty secure. I meet the host, which were very nice individuals I 101% recommended this location to all my friends and family members looking for a safe nice stay in Albuquerque..

This was a cute guesthouse-type space that was spotless and easy to access. It was a releaxing environment after a stressful day of driving. The "house book" was helpful and ensured we knew how use all of the amenities and made clear the checkout process. Definitely recommend.
