Easy check, nice bar and games area with a decent enough room for our 1 night stay

Great check in, interesting vibe compared to other corporates - check in at bar, free drink, racing paraphernalia, 80s arcade console. Room spotless, plugs in the right places (apart from shaver point not being UK). Would recommend.

Main issue of our stay this time was the lifts, only 1 lift out of 3 was working and was very hard at check in and check out times to get down to reception.

The parking was a nightmare - didn’t let us park in the carpark as it was full but yet loads of spaces. Had to park off road and pay a silly amount

Good public parking across the street. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, very ckean, stylish. Good bar food

Fire alarm evacuation process a total shambles. Banging and drilling rather annoying. Inconvenient parking arrangements for a hotel.

All good, but please sort the elevators out. Very long waits…

It was a totally different hotel experience - in a good way! We were greeted in a lovely lounge/bar by a friendly member of staff. Everything was very modern and fresh. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and retro decorated. Bed was sooooo comfortable! Overall a great stay.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The Moxy Milton Keynes and it did not disappoint. Lovely welcome, super clean, comfortable and great breakfast.

The room was dirty, The shower didnt work, Breakfast they had no butter, or orange juice, cinamon bun products were stale. Spoke with the night manager, they said some one would ring me back, 8 days later, no one has been intouch. So if you like dirty rooms, with broken showers, and a rubbish breakfast and incompetent staff this place is ideal !

Clean , modern and always sleep well , good value for money

Hotel was spotless, staff were friendly and helpful. The only bad part of the stay was the awful welcome cocktail

Really clean hotel with very helpful staff. Loved the entertainment in main area such as pool table, foosball table, Photo Booth etc. Some required a small fee. Lots of options to dine around the area. Excellent location. A great stay and would definitely return. Thank you Moxy.

Stayed overnight following a works Christmas party. Check-in was at at the bar, which was different, however there were no signs to tell you this (not that I could see anyway). Complimentary cocktail for all guests was a nice gesture though. The upbeat lift music made a nice change as well. The room was clean and the bed comfy (which is the main thing), although I found the towels to be a bit hard/abrasive and also the shower floor was very slippery. As a side note, I also noticed the time showing on the TV was a 24hr clock with am/pm e.g. 17:52pm (you do not need am/pm with a 24hr clock!!) Not a major issue obviously, but these things annoy me. The room also had a kettle and tea & coffee. The hotel itself was not too noisy, as some can be and I found the staff to be very friendly. All in all, it did me fine for a one-night stop.

Staff where friendly and helpful has a nice decor and feel to the place unfortunately the bed was like laying on a hard slab and the air con was the most loudest rattling thing going to had to turn that off also the lifts where really slow and could do with a clean the floors in all of them where sticky nearly had my shoe off

Conveniently located hotel close to the train station and the huge shopping mall. Despite the hotel being very close to lots of restaurants and bars, the sound proofing was second to none, we couldn't hear a thing. It's also directly opposite a huge sainsbury's. Parking was a breeze, by booking through the evology app and cost £10. We brought our dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. I would not hesitate to stay at a moxy hotel again.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot which has access to tons of food options, a sainsbury across the street and is very close to the train station.

Nice and quirky place to say for one night out but not for longer stays. Rooms are quite small therefore no storage space. There are hangers but nowhere to put away any personal items e.g. underwear. The IT system would not sync with any of my devices so I could not cast anything on room tv and HDMI connections on tv are disabled. No chair or desk in the room with exception of small suspended table at the wall and stool to seat on. Rooms are basicaly designed just to sleep and leave. I like the hotel decor and staff is very friendly. Its a great location despite parking issues but not suitable for more then one or two nights.

A fairly decent hotel but not blown away by my stay due to the fact I could hear constant banging and walking around above my room. For such a huge hotel I’d have expected better soundproofing.

Really friendly when booking in and room was really nice and the light underneath the bed with movement so you don’t have to keep turning the light on was really good and helpf..

The Moxy Hotel is ideal if you’re out in Milton Keynes, great location, very clean and quirky bar/reception area. The only downside was the bathroom size it was very small, but if it’s just for a stop over it’s ok. It was a a good nights sleep, very quiet

Location -5/5 great spot, 15 min. walk from train station, slap bang in the middle of the "hub" with lots of restaurants nearby. Initial welcome -3/5 The reason why this has only 3 stars is that the person who greeted me asked me if this was my first time staying to which I said yes but after that there was no follow-up. I expected her to tell me about where the lifts are or inform me about breakfast etc. None of that, which I think it's poor and goes back to my first point, you can't serve drinks in the bar and efficiently greet and pay attention to checking in.Sleep-4/5 I'm a very light sleeper so this is one area that I generally struggle with regardless of the hotel I'm staying in, however, Moxy has not let me down. Bed was comfortable, I loved the selection of pillows. Although situated in a very busy location, I could not hear a sound from outside, one criticism that I have is the air con, unable to switch it off or turn the temperature down below 18 degrees. Room was too hot for my liking and that affected my sleep. Breakfast -5/5 Another nice surprise! Breakfast was not included when I initially booked it however I decided to venture downstairs and grab something to eat before I leave. Really nice continental election. Scrambled egg done to perfection! Great value for money. Overall, really good place to stay and this comes from a very fussy customer. Different to your usual chain hotels so definitely recommend!

Very nice. Room was perfect. The cocktail upon arrival such a nice touch! Great value. Staff was very friendly and tries hard. There was one issue where at check in they said if we paid then it was 14 so we said yes but in AM they wanted to charge 15. It was sorted out. But it’s a good idea to maybe clarify with one or the other staff which they were very nice and accommodating to prevent misunderstanding or over charging inadvertently.

Usually excellent, loved it in the past, but let down this time by a disappointing experience with the bar staff and then the front desk the next day when reporting it.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my father. This was part of a trip to go to Wembley in London, and was the first trip we had taken since my mother (my father’s wife) passed away. The service we received was unbelievably good. I have never received such good service from a hotel or from a member of staff such as from the person working on reception (I think their name was medina/medima). They are a credit to Marriot. I wanted to say thank you for helping us have a good weekend away to help cheer us up during a hard time in our lives. 10/10 will stay here again and recommend moxy to all my friends and family

Fantastic stay, great staff. Ala, the team manager and staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. Lovely to see happy staff who enjoy their work and nothing was to much trouble for them. Ala, as soon as he greeted us and heard that we were Welsh, he actually said a few Welsh words to us! Very impressive 😃 Great hotel and very relaxing, in the centre of the hub. We will be back. “Diolch” for our great stay. ❤️

Had a great stay here rooms are very nice & would stay again. Only very small negative was check out time on my booking said 12pm, we had a cleaner walk in without knocking at 10:30 & then at 11:30 knocking to ask if we where leaving soon. I understand completely they have rooms to turn round & the mistake at coming in the first time I would have forgiven as a mistake but being rushed then at 11:30 it just felt like they wanted us out.

The receptionist, Halima (Ally) was very pleasant and welcoming. She politely answered our questions and recommended some great places to visit around the hotel. We loved the breakfast options and had a very pleasant experience. Thank you Team Moxy!

Fantastic place to stay. It was a very hot day and the air conditioning was heaven sent! The staff were fantastic and really helpful. There’s even a Sainsbury’s two minutes away. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station too so very well situated.

Modern hotel with friendly staff. Bar and breakfast good. Central location for restaurants and shopping. 20 minute walk from station.

Excellent location for Mk city centre shopping, restaurants, train station. Staff were super friendly and chatty which was lovely. Decor was very cool. Loved the laid back chilled vibe in the lobby/bar area. Room was quiet and comfortable. Although small it had everything you could need for a couple of nights. If staying longer clothes storage might be a bit of an issue but for a couple of nights it was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Room basic but ok. Would like some water in room. Breakfast had good selection but hash browns like cardboard. Tables sticky

Unfortunately the breakfast was not good, on the fruits and vegetables where fruit flies and the bread were not good. The rooms are quite nice and the bed really comfortable.

Hotel has a very young feel to it, nicely decorated and great vibe, smells lovely as soon as you walk in and the complimentary cocktail on arrival was very nice. The rooms are nice and comfortable with everything that you need, compact bathroom but there really is no complaints. Breakfast was a little disappointing based on the price, there were only 5 hot items to choose from in which 2 needed re filling, pastries doughnuts and some cereal. No real complaints but I thought it was expensive for what it was, didn’t help that I had 4/5 ditsy young ladies in front taking ages over 5 items. Will definitely return
