Hotel was decently clean, even if I had to ask for a new cleaning of my room right after check in. The hotel understood the problem right away and apologised. Punlic spaces were all clean and nice. The room air conditioning and heating was hit and miss, most of the time it was either a bit too chilly or toasty, but could be adjusted when it swung. The gym is a bit barebones with mostly running and crosstraining machines with some free weights, but just enough for a few days. Laundry room worked very well. Breakfast was good with enough options for most people. For some incomprehensible reason all utensils, plates and cups are single use plastic junk that can't even work through the bacon strips they serve. This is a crime against nature, considering how easy it would be to just have proper plates and a dishwasher machine. However, I've seen it before in the States so it's a bad practice that the competition likely engages in as well. I was still expecting a bit more for this price range.

This property was great for my family week stay in Chicago. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean comfortable. I loved that they had a laundry room I was able to use and not return home with dirty clothes. The breakfast was easy to get and helpful to feed toddles early in the morning. The location in Chinatown was better than I expected. It was easy to get to any transit and travel to the museum campuses. I do wish that there was more parking on location. All in all if needed to I will be booking this hotel again.

Great place if you don’t have to park a car. If you do have to park, you will want a small vehicle for their parking. They contract w a public parking spot that fills up super easy and only one way in and out w no turnaround, you have to back up and do a 25 point turn to get out if no spaces available. If you are good parking in an open lot and walking, this place was wonderful and I recommend.

Easy checkin process. Parking lot is attached and just a short walk, a bit expensive but has in and out privileges. Rooms were nice and good size, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great, nice fresh fruit options. Coffee was terrible. Water was always available at the food station. My only complaint is the elevators. The bar you have to swipe your card to enter your floor number is faulty and sometimes takes a while to read. I kept thinking it was my card demagnetized and wasted my time standing on line to get it reprogrammed only to realize this happens everyday . Hope they get it fixed

Parking wasn’t bad, you can drop off your things at the front and park in the garage and there’s access on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Cost was $30 per day and I recommend if you’re going on a weekend…. Just park your car in the ramp and Uber everywhere. Super convenient. Great Korean Bbq places in the area, easy walk to McCormick Place. The room was nice and clean and laid out well. Breakfast was above average for a hotel Make sure to bring earplugs or get them at the front desk as the Metra has many tracks nearby and it sounded like an airport at 4am Saturday morning, to be expected in Chinatown honestly. Would def stay here again and I’m a rather picky person :)

Parking was pretty weird and inconvenient. It all worked out, but it was ambiguous and unsure the whole time. It could have just as easily been a nightmare if it was just the tiniest bit busier.

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Very beautiful lobby, fantastic rooms and wonderful staff. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The diverse selection was amazing and high quality. 2 types of eggs, ham and egg croissants, 2 types of sausage and so much more. Blueberry compote for oatmeal topping? Amazing and yummy. Nice neighborhood with many Oriental restaurants very close. One of the staff directed us to a great pastry shop a block away for evening treats. We spent the night before going to the Museum of Science and Industry. Was worried about noise from nearby tracks and the street in front but after 10pm our rooms were dead silent. Parking at the public garage next door turned out to be very easy and convenient. The second level is reserved for hotel guests with a direct connection to the hotel. I'll be looking for an excuse to come back.

Everything was wonderful! From the welcoming feeling when we walked in the door with the bright ambiance and the pleasant smell. They have nice & helpful front desk staff, along with convenient parking . Rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were sad to have missed out on the breakfast because we slept in but we had heard it was very good.

Close to Guaranteed Rate field, water taxi and parking made it a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Only minor issue was air conditioner on room was loud. Would stay there again.

Stayed in the Penthouse suite with the skyline view. It was beyond what I expected. The lobby and hallways were sparkling clean. I always could see someone cleaning, and it smelled fresh every time going in and out. The room, the view, the soaking tub, the heated bathroom floor, the ambient lighting under the kitchen cabinets. Wish I’d stayed longer.

1. Public Transport was easily accessible from the property - buses ply in the road in front of the hotel and the red line (L Train System) was 9 minutes walking distance from the hotel. 2. Breakfast spread (available between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM) was basic but good. You can find options like bread, bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cut fruits, turkey and bacon, whole eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes. There were different spreads like jam, nutella, cheese spreads and so on as welll. 3. Room was fairly basic but our room had a few issues - night lamp didn’t work on one side, restroom exhaust was not working. I never made a request to have the same rectified - So, I can't blame the property of apathy but I hope these things get looked into. 4. The room I was allocated was very close to the street. I used to get disturbed by the sounds from the streets. So, if that is concerning, please ask for a room away from the roads. I won't mind staying in the property again - if I am back in Chicago. Note: Fantastic restaurants are present in close vicinity.

As many times as I've been to Chicago, this is the first time I've ever stayed in Chinatown. I was traveling on business and thought I'd bring my family of 5 with me for a night's stay. Not only was Chinatown a great area to explore, but my children absolutely loved it (12, 12, & 17). We walked the town and bought some treats and souvenirs to make things memorable. As far as the room, it was modern, clean, functional and spacious for our family of 5. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the sofa sleep was actually a dual twin bed. As you could image, the children were grateful that they didn't have the share a bed. We stayed on a Friday night and checked out by our 12noon deadline on Saturday which was perfect because we were able to leave our bags and walk Chinatown before leaving. We were fortunate enough to secure free parking just outside the cafeteria door, so we saved a few coins there. Lastly, when traveling with a family, having a hot breakfast included is always a plus. Staff was friendly and the area appeared to be clean. My family complimented me all weekend because of the hotel choice. We really enjoyed my stay.

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Rate Field, but didn't realize I'd found a gem! Modern, clean, and comfortable, the hotel itself is rather unassuming. Our room was a small king suite; the bed was great, plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was well-laid out. We really like having a seating area where we can relax. Despite being next to the highway and the train, it was not terribly noisy and we slept well. The desk staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful, and gave us great recommendations for dinner there in Chinatown. As far as downsides there are really only a few: 1) there is very little space to park in front of the hotel for check in and people resort to double parking; 2) the parking garage is difficult to navigate with a larger vehicle, and 3) the breakfast was just "okay". Ultimately, the pros far outweigh those points, and we've decided we'll stay here in the future when in town for baseball. We're looking forward to trying more restaurants in the neighborhood!

Our room was a small king suite; the bed was great, plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was well-laid out. We really like having a seating area where we can relax. Despite being next to the highway and the train, it was not terribly noisy and we slept well. The desk staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful, and gave us great recommendations for dinner there in Chinatown. As far as downsides there are really only a few: 1) there is very little space to park in front of the hotel for check in and people resort to double parking; 2) the parking garage is difficult to navigate with a larger vehicle, and 3) the breakfast was just "okay". Ultimately, the pros far outweigh those points, and we've decided we'll stay here in the future when in town for baseball. We're looking forward to trying more restaurants in the neighborhood!

The staff were INCREDIBLE!! I had been awake for about 24 hours and it was still a few hours until check in time; i called and they made an adjustment to my reservation so i could check in a little early. They were also very helpful in telling us how to deal with parking (where & how). I was very happy.

I booked a 3-night stay here a month in advance for a conference nearby and the day I was supposed to check in, they tell me they have no rooms left and I have to stay in another hotel for 1 night. This put a huge wrench in my conference plans because then I had to worry about checking out of that hotel and into this one the morning before a busy conference day. I understand overbooking is common in the hotel world, but I put a lot of time into choosing this hotel and expected them to honor my reservation. They graciously paid for my night at the other hotel and for breakfast since the new hotel did not have free breakfast. This was an appropriate accommodation for leaving me room-less at their hotel and it ended up being a fine trip. They tried their best to help me, but beware of booking here during busy travel times because they overbook their rooms.

This location is great! I will always stay here now when going to Chicago. The employees and manager were all very nice and accommodating. The manager introduced himself to me, and Tania was amazing at check-in and throughout our stay. Michael was so helpful when I needed that 5am coffee, while he was also trying to get the "FREE" breakfast together for everyone. As someone who works at a hotel 1 day a week, I was truly in "awe" over the friendliness of everyone I encountered. The rooms are so spacious and gives an area where you can relax away from beds, a couch and desk area were so great to have. Plus the convience of having a fridge and microwave in your room. I would also like to add that the breakfast had some neat options that you would not normally see at some hotels, and the area the hotel is located in "china town" is a very safe area, I felt much safer than other places I stayed closer to the city area, the red line can get you there in just a couple of stops, and is only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, there are so many delicious restaurants and bakeries on the same street. It was super convenient for us to walk 30 mins to white Sox stadium. Chinatown was a neat perk! It is $30 to park in a parking garage next door but hotel validates so it isn’t the usual $40.

I had a pleasant experience at SpringHill by Chinatown. The location is convenient with many great Chinese restaurants around. The front desk service is also nice and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast is beyond my expectation. Will book again.

Nice clean hotel in the middle of Chinatown with shops and dining out the front door! The garage parking was nice but cost 30$/day. Great breakfast and good coffee. Our only complaint was the poor quality of the sheet on the bed which slipped off the corners every night, exposing the mattress. But the bed and pillows were very comfy and the shower was a good one.

This location is great! Very clean and the staff is very friendly. The only issue I had is with the breakfast options. I have stayed in Springhill suites in other areas and by far this one had the worst breakfast choices. If breakfast does not matter to you definitely stay here but for myself my family enjoys waking up coming down getting a good hot breakfast with good choices, this location is not that.

Parking was a hassle. Small garage, drove around for about an hour after checking in, trying to find parking. Someone finally left from the garage and we parked there. This hotel should have better accommodations for parking and the breakfast was terrible. Pork sausages WASNT COOKED, eggs were runny.

1. Public Transport was easily accessible from the property - buses ply in the road in front of the hotel and the red line (L Train System) was 9 minutes walking distance from the hotel. 2. Breakfast spread (available between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM) was basic but good. You can find options like bread, bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cut fruits, turkey and bacon, whole eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes. There were different spreads like jam, nutella, cheese spreads and so on as welll. 3. Room was fairly basic but our room had a few issues - night lamp didn’t work on one side, restroom exhaust was not working. I never made a request to have the same rectified - So, I can't blame the property of apathy but I hope these things get looked into. 4. The room I was allocated was very close to the street. I used to get disturbed by the sounds from the streets. So, if that is concerning, please ask for a room away from the roads. I won't mind staying in the property again - if I am back in Chicago. Note: Fantastic restaurants are present in close vicinity.

The diverse selection was amazing and high quality. 2 types of eggs, ham and egg croissants, 2 types of sausage and so much more. Blueberry compote for oatmeal topping? Amazing and yummy. Nice neighborhood with many Oriental restaurants very close. One of the staff directed us to a great pastry shop a block away for evening treats.
