If I could give less than one star 🌟 I would. So my wife are currently staying at Virgin Hotel. We have been here for 3 days and have yet to be able to get into the pool!!!! When I say ghetto I literally mean ghetto. We wasn't able to even get a toe into the pool. Whether we came when they open at 10:00 or anytime throughout the day. I found a manager and expressed my concern that it’s certainly not fair that not everyone gets to enjoy the pool. The manager told me majority of the people in the pool were not guest but rather people who brought a day pass to access the pool and roof top. The whole pool was with so many people with next to nothing on. This pool is not kid friendly!!!! The theme of the hotel is pretty cool and it’s close to bourdon and canal so there you have it.

Bit hit or miss. Some front desk staff friendly, helpful and some a bit disinterested. Lobby cafe good. Fitness area good. Rooftop pool more like a large bath, and rooftop bar has views, but only views of New Orleans business district. Unable to turn down aircon. One of the movement triggered vanity lights wouldn't turn off and despite reporting it, no action taken. Twice had to get new room keycards having got to the room and them not working (didn’t keep them next to the phone). All that sounds a bit petty but they add up. An okay stay but not as efficient as i would expect from a Virgin branded product.

When it comes to Boutique Hotels, I'm a little tongue-in-cheek, but the Virgin hotel in Nola hit the mark. Latrell, at front desk was genuinely lovely, very welcoming and professional. The rooms were as pictured Rooftop had lovely views. Swimming pool was a tad small but cute. Eating in the hotel was reasonable, price-wise. My room had a beautiful view. The location was perfect! Away from the madness of bourbon st, but within walking distance. Altogether, a lovely experience

We were in town for a hospitality event. We valeted our truck at $55 a night feeling comfortable that our truck was safe . It was stolen . While the valet fees were obviously dropped , nothing from the hotel. Not a single accommodation. Not even a bottle of wine so sorry for this trama .. nothing. And the irony we are at a hospitality event.

Rooftop pool was great and it was convenient that a bar and music was at the pool as well. We loved our room ! Bed and pillows were very comfortable and mini fridge was stocked with everything you would need. Grocery store also located 2 blocks away.

The only complaint I have is that you have to rent outdoor seating around the pool if all of the lounge chairs are taken. $250 for 3 hours when you're already paying to stay there was steep in my opinion.

Great, comfortable stay in Nola. The hotel is well located to get where we wanted and be able to leave the bustle. Rooms were quiet and clean. Loved the quirky design aesthetic. Bed was comfortable... best black out shade I've experienced at a hotel. Staff was friendly. On site restaurants were tasty. Gym was spacious and equipped with what I needed.

Hotel and accommodation were lovely. However room was never cleaned during my entire stay. We told them to clean it late on one day which turned into them not cleaning at all. Several additional fees charges and over charged to our card. 2 weeks later we’re still disputing charges.

Hotel was immaculate. Rooms were perfect for a couple to stay. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for anyone travelling to New Orleans.

The rooms are very odd. There is no bathroom. As soon as you walk in the door, you’re greeted by a sink nestled between two closets (two closets was nice however) and then you realize there is a glass door with a toilet behind it and one with a shower. The shower is in the foyer! The bedroom itself was a decent size. The bed was comfortable. The TV was ok. Not too many channels but just enough. The A/C was awful. Never got cool enough and not vents in the foyer where the nonexistent bathroom is. The room was also not as clean as I expected - the floors had hair all over them, the shower had rust, the grout was dirty, and the towels are not in great condition. Housekeeping however was kind and readily available when needed and so was maintenance. Actually all the staff was nice except no one answering the phone at night. This place is popular for party goers to visit and ironically we never ate, drank or partied here. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My jaw literally dropped when I stepped into this hotel. The design is absolutely stunning. The basic hotel room feels like a suite with a separate room for getting ready, makeup vanity and all.

This is my new go-to hotel when visiting New Orleans. The staff is AMAZING from bellhops and check in to housekeeping and poolside. Virgin is always a vibe in any city, but the rooftop pool always seals the deal for me. Within walking distance to Bourbon Street without the busy crowds. And our sweet made me feel like Carri from sex and the city with the huge changing area, vanity, and closets… there are two of them. What are you waiting for? Book your stay today!

The hotel’s interior was impressive—modern, stylish, and clean. The staff were warm and welcoming, which was nice. However, the biggest drawback was the air conditioning system. It was extremely loud, and to our surprise, there was no option to turn it off. The only solution offered was for an engineer to disconnect it from the mains, which meant no air conditioning at all. Since we didn’t need it much during our stay, we opted to have it switched off, but in peak summer, this would have been a major issue. Even with the cooler weather, the room became stuffy due to the lack of ventilation and no windows to open, forcing us to keep the door open to let in fresh air from the hallway. For reference, we stayed on the 8th-floor city-view room (812) Despite this, the hotel itself was excellent—the rooftop area was a great touch, and both the cocktails and food were fantastic. Unfortunately, due to the air conditioning system, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The property was conveniently located around everything. Our room had a very bad leak where water was seeping out of the floor boards which made it impossible to walk on one side of the bed. Forgot several times and ended with wet socks more than a few times. The blinds didnt work. The stayed open which made it impossible to sleep in. Light would pour in by 645 am. I wake up early each day, but not ideal when on vacation. The door seperating the room from the bathroom/vanity room didnt have a door stop which is damaging the wall badly. Additionally, our tv didnt work. The remote was an aftermarket remote which didnt have the functions necessary to operate the tv. I told a staff member and they responded with "oh ok, thank you for letting us know." No change of rooms, no credit, no anything.

We were in town for the Eras tour and it was painful how under-prepared this hotel was. I hate to even leave a bad review because I am always a fan of Virgin when traveling and cannot recommend their airline & cruise line enough. This was my first stay at one of their hotels and while the property is clean and beautiful, our experience was so bad. My room was not ready by the 3pm check-in time. We ended up having to ask for our luggage and the front desk team offered for us to get ready for the concert in the public restroom. When we were leaving for the show at 6:15pm, we were told our room was finally available. We weren't even offered a comp drink or meal for the huge inconvenience. I think all of the non-hotel guests attending the Taylor Swift rooftop party were better cared for than the hotel guests. I will note that the staff at the lobby-level bar were wonderful.

This is my new go-to hotel when visiting New Orleans. The staff is AMAZING from bellhops and check in to housekeeping and poolside. Virgin is always a vibe in any city, but the rooftop pool always seals the deal for me. Within walking distance to Bourbon Street without the busy crowds. The staff at the coffee shop in the morning was not welcoming, and the breakfast offerings were basic. I do not see the benefit of staying at this hotel over a traditional Holiday inn. The service was sub-par, nothing special about the stay and the concierge was unresponsive. For price point, you are better off staying at Loews or Hilton. It appears there is more focus on the product and decor than service.

The room is unique with a good layout. The rooftop pool and bar are a nice plus. The staff was friendly but not always present. A couple of times, we found no one at the front desk when we needed assistance and the valet parking was very slow on one occasion. At $60+ per night, we expected better valet service.

Conveniently located near the Warehouse/Arts District. The staff was really good (valet, front desk, security and bar tenders). Great location outside the chaos of the Quarter but still very walkable to everything. Room was so efficiently designed - it reminded us of a high end stateroom on a cruise ship. Loved the rooftop pool and bar, and the coffee bar in the lobby was great as well. Would definitely return.

When it comes to Boutique Hotels, I'm a little tongue-in-cheek, but the Virgin hotel in Nola hit the mark. Latrell, at front desk was genuinely lovely, very welcoming and professional. The rooms were as pictured Rooftop had lovely views. Swimming pool was a tad small but cute. Eating in the hotel was reasonable, price-wise. My room had a beautiful view. The location was perfect! Away from the madness of bourbon st, but within walking distance. Altogether, a lovely experience

The moment we stepped up to the hotel we were greeted with friendly happy staff. Shout out to Tim the doorman. The receptionists were lovely. The coffee and bar area very welcoming. The rooftop pool was beautiful! Our room was just perfect with everything and more.Location was excellent. We could walk to Bourbon St and French quarter but had a quieter place at night. The issue is the constant loud music in the bar area which is pumped into the dining room too. Incredibly loud and intrusive - disco type music even while eating Sunday brunch. Too much.

Nice hotel, the dining options were great and the mini bar prices reasonable. The rooms do not look so maintained, but I did like the separate bath area from the sleeping area. The pool is tiny! And I was unable to enjoy it due to most of the seats being taken up even further away from the pool. The ambience is nice but I will try a different hotel next time.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, you can easily walk to the street cars and restaurants. There is the cutest bakery across the street called Batter. I highly recommend it. Check-in was fairly smooth there was no wait and we got to our room quickly. The room was clean and cute. The bed was very soft, I don’t care for soft beds and had trouble sleeping each night. We tried happy hour at the commons club and had a great time. There were several drinks to choose from and the special Hulu menu was a great addition. The service in the bar was great for 2 out of 3 days that we visited. The bartender helping us was awesome and made wonderful drinks. She is a gem. The last day we went she was off and service was lackluster and the guy overcharged us. I pointed it out and he never corrected it. We couldn’t enjoy the pool, it’s a tiny plunge pool and there were too many people in the small space.The front desk service wasn’t very good. The staff gathered around the door as if they were guests and it made it hard to tell who was working. At checkout the service really stood out. The gentleman at the front desk was perky and enthusiastic. I didn’t catch his name but he worked the morning shift on 04/03. Also Ryan the bellman was engaged and made good recommendations for food and activities. It’s a shame we met the best on our last day. Their service was excellent and it saved the hotels service reputation. Overall it was a decent stay, but I probably won’t stay here again.
