Rivergate Apartment - MM Home

This is a lovely apartment in a perfect location. I enjoy swimming in the pool. I will surely come back!

The swimming pool is a fantastic option for sunny days in Saigon. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant on the ground floor, which had reasonable prices.

Nice, clean room. The area around the room is quiet, so it is easy to concentrate on work. Free use of the Swimming Pool and Gym. Moreover, the host is also very good and enthusiastic to support.

It’s walkable to District 1,2. The modern-looking high rise has a lovely pool and convenience stores on the ground level.

중심가랑 매우가까워서 편합니다. 건물에 카페. 혼자여행와서 불편한점이 없었습니다. 편의점도있구요. 수영장이 넓어 만족스럽고 물도 깨끗하여 가족단위 여행객이 많아요

호스트는 매우 친절했습니다. 체크인은 순조로웠습니다. 숙박은 매우 편안했고, Wi-Fi도 좋았습니다. 건물 내에 수영장과 헬스장이 있어서 더 좋았습니다.

Excellent view from my room and many available amenities within within the building.

The staff is always helpful and the rooms are always clean with fresh towels daily. The pool is also nice

Checkin was awful after a long day of flying. I was notified the morning of checkin that the room I booked was not available but I was being upgraded to a newer apartment building nearby and getting two 2 bedroom apartments instead of the one 3 bedroom apartment I rented. I didn’t get the message since the message was through what’s app and I was flying. Our airport shuttle had already dropped us off and left so I had to spend more money to get 2 taxis to take us to the other apartment building. When we get there, there was not enough sleeping space for my kids in either apartment so I called and the renter said the other place wouldn’t have been enough space either. I said based on Expedia’s listing there would be enough space at the other place and she said the listing was wrong. She said it’s ok, she’ll drop off a mattress for me later. Later ended up being close to midnight when we were all already fast asleep. So the mattress, sheet, pillows and extra towels requested were left in the living room by the renter. The sheet had a ginormous cigarette burnt hole in it so my kids refused to sleep on it. The en-suite bathroom in the room we slept in was gross. Mold and mildew everywhere so we didn’t even use it. The towels were hard and smelly. The trash room in the building was overflowed with trash and smelled awful. I looked up the apartment on Expedia and the pics were not bad. I imagine the original one I rented was in similar condition and probably looks nothing like the

It has a very good view of the river and skyline of the area. The room is clean and access is fairly secure. The staff was helpful and accommodating to our queries.

The apartment has an amazing location with lots in the immediate area (walking distance) and right across the street from District 1. The ground floor amenities are pretty good and the grocery store is fairly priced. High floor with cool view, very clean and super comfortable

Great view, clean and tidy. Bedding comfortable. Great location. You will get comms on how to check in etc. All was very well organized and clear.

Our stay at the Rivergate was okay. The cleanliness of the apartment could be better, but it wasn’t that bad overall. There was plastic water bottles in the kitchen and some laundry hanging in the balcony area. We also found it odd that the furniture and the layout of the apartment was different from pictures on Expedia. Some highlights about this place is that it offered a great view of HCM City and the location was really convenient. There were also grocery stores downstairs. Would stay here again but have lower expectations.

RUN AWAY. Got a wrong room with smaller bed and smaller living room, Expedia staff reached out to them but they didn’t do anything to fix it. Never go back here again. BTW, the room is fairly clean, the location is good. Just the apartment booking staffs were not doing the right things.

Very clean and well-equipped apartment with great a/c

I would avoid this place with all cost. We booked 3 rooms unit with 4 beds thru Expedia. After 25 hours flight we arrived exhausted, the host tried to give us a 2 bedroom unit. Her reason was the ac was broken at the unit we booked which is very typical excuses for this business when they either overbooked. When we said no, she took us to another unit that the cleaning ladies were still cleaning. The room was filled with cigarette smell. On top of that, it only had 3 beds. When I raised my concern and showed her that I did booked 4 beds, she said I had to pay extra to get the 4th bed. I talked to Expedia to ask for help and they couldn’t do anything but offered me a credit of $50. I didn’t want any credit, I wanted the non smoking room and 4 beds. They wouldnt bust. It was so late and we were so tired to argue so we just took the room and spent the night in the stinking room. Just stay away from this host!!!!

The clean room, great amenities, and washing machine is great if you are traveling for some time with limited clothing. Good value for the price

Total nightmare. I booked this place and it seemed fine until the moment I arrived with my luggage: absolutely no one was there to welcome me, no check-in instructions, no access code, nothing. The host/contact person was rather responsive up until my arrival, but then completely ghosted me. I obviously tried to call many times and sent countless messages. Zero reply ever again. Friends who booked other units through the same host had received their instructions with no issue and confirmed the host was actively replying to them while deliberately ignoring me. It’s very clear the host forgot about my booking (or overbooked) and decided the easiest solution was to pretend I didn’t exist rather than fix the mistake. Worst host experience ever. Stay away.

We didn’t end up staying at this property as the host never responded to provide check in instructions. No one was there to greet us at check in. Security did not allow us into the building.

If you’re traveling with family including little kids. Do NOT book with them. Communication is horrible. There is nobody at the front desk to assist you. Everything is done through text messages and I had to wait for 2 hours for someone to reply. I had to call Expedia to get help.After Expedia got the manger on the line, they move me to a different property without offering us a ride, just told me to take the taxi down to the other property, when I got there I had to wait for another 45 minutes. After waiting for almost 3 hours without talking to anyone in person, I was frustrated because they could’ve been professional about and reach out to me before my family was there.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. There was confusion around check-in and we spent about 30 mins trying to find someone to check in with. Once we were connected, our host was very helpful. The property is nice tho.

We booked this apartment, only to arrive and have no idea how to check in. After getting help from security, someone showed up and told us they didn’t have a room for us and would move us to another apartment down the road. The apartment building we were taken to, had large clear signs stating that it is illegal to use this property as short term accommodation. It appears that the owner is booking at Rivergate and then moving customers over to a private apartment building. Contacted what if who effectively said we were given an upgrade (the second apartment had 2 rooms. Not much of an upgrade when it was just me and my husband. We didn’t need a second room.

Booking was not honored. Property management was unreachable. Painstaking process to get a refund.

1. the owner of the apartment requested me to move to a different room due to an “air conditioner issue”, which was an obvious lie, because he asked other friends of mine (who booked other separate apartments in the same residence) to change room for exactly the same reason. I had to spend a lot of energy and time discussing with him about this unreasonable request 2. A friend of mine, who booked a separate apartment in the same residence, could not complete check-in, because the owner didn’t share any details to him about check-in process and ignored all his messages on whatsapp. The owner also ignored all calls and whatsapp messages from me after this issue 3. I had to host my friend in my own apartment, otherwise he would need to sleep on the street…

Whilst we ending up staying in a block opposite, the owner gave us an apartment to match what we booked and in the same location. All great and superb communication and additional help in storing our luggage. Location was perfect for centre also

It’s convenient to go to tourist spots, only takes a few minutes. There are also convenience stores on the ground floor, can buy some daily necessities

C’est pratique pour aller dans des lieux touristiques, cela ne prend que quelques minutes. Il y a aussi des dépanneurs au rez-de-chaussée, où l'on peut acheter des produits de première nécessité.

Lots of tasty street food around, as well as cafes and restaurants. Beautiful and stylish apartment too.
