The Social Hub Vienna

Alles in allem ein wirklich gutes Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Nahe am Prater und mit den öffentlichen ist man auch sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Dennoch ist das Hotel relativ ruhig gelegen. Trotz Fenster zur Straße raus hörte ich in meinem Zimmer im 6. Stock so gut wie gar nichts. Leider hört man aber sehr laut das schließen der anderen Zimmertüren und teilweise wackelt das ganze Zimmer/Bett sogar dabei. Das war leider sehr unangenehm. Das Zimmer an sich war auch relativ sauber, wenn auch sehr dunkel. Vor allem der Flur/Bad Bereich aufgrund der schwarzen Wandfarbe und der schwarzen Möbel. Das einchecken und auschecken am Computerterminal war sehr ungewphnt, hat aber überraschend gut und einfach funktioniert. Im großen und ganzen war es wirklich ein schönes Hotel bei dem nur kleine Verbesserungen aus meiner Sicht notwendig sind um hier wirklich volle Punktzahl zu geben

The hotel is right next to the tram station, and there’s a convenience store nearby. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers a good variety of healthy options, and there’s also a billiards room and a gym in the basement.

Great concept for a hotel (co-working, bar etc.)

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind, 10 Jahre) haben auf der Rückreise von Kroatien noch ein paar Tage in Wien verbracht. Die zum Hotel gehörige Tiefgarage war für uns daher sehr gut und mit Gebühren von 20 Euro pro 24 Stunden auch für Wiener Verhältnisse recht günstig. Das Familienzimmer hatte 1 Hochbett und ein großzügiges Doppelbett. Leider gab es im Raum auch Dachschrägen, so dass man an einer Seite vom Bett aufpassen musste, sich dort nicht den Kopf anzuschlagen (was scheinbar schon ein paar Mal passiert ist ). Doe Matratzen sind recht hart, das Doppelbett sehr hoch. Im Bad ist das Licht leider sehr ungünstig hinter der Tür direkt angebracht, so dass man sich vorm Spiegel stehend selbst im Licht steht. Die Dusche war sehr geräumig, das Waschbecken sehr klein. Ablageflächen gab es keine. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer konnten wir nur aus- oder anschalten, mehr haben wir nicht hinbekommen. Da die Temperaturen aber okay waren, haben wir nicht extra nachgefragt. Das Hotel liegt fußläugig zum Prater und auch der 1. Bezirk ist problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel wie U- und Straßenbahn fahren aber auch in unmittelbarer Umgebung, haben wir nur nicht genutzt und Wien zu Fuß erkundet. Das The Social Hub bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten. Es gibt auch einen Fitnessraum, Billard und Tischtennis sowie Sitzgelegenheiten (haben wir alles nicht genutzt). Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die kleinen Mängel haben wir in Kauf genommen.

Very friendly staff, great playarea for kids and good location. Minor stuff with the room ventilation and lighting in the bathroom but nothing too bad, besides you should be out in the city not be sitting in your room ;⁠-⁠)

Great location and easy to get to from subway U1 then tram 5 or 0 which stops right out front. Fun, friendly and trendy. Great breakfast. Laundry available. Breakfast on weekends is at 08:00 not 07:00 as posted which created an inconvenience for us with an early morning tour departure :( Overall good value and happy we stayed there. Great for young people but seniors or those with kids fit in too. Thanks

Maybe one of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen. It's been updated recently so the pictures don't show how well equipped it is. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location is a 9 min walk to the train station. Then you're in the center of everything in basically 5-10 mins. I spent a week in Vienna and you really can't beat the value you get from the Social Hub.

It’s regarded as a four star hotel. In reality it’s not! There was no hand soap, lotion, or dental kit. The furniture was dusty. There were molds in the shower corners. The spare toilet roll has stains on it!! The ceiling looks poor! The hotel lacked a charger adapter and had to walk to the train station at 8 pm to get one from a vending machine. The hotel is not cheap! Breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly. The location was close to the train station/tram.

Unterkunft war modern, aber an der Sauberkeit kann man noch arbeiten.

El lugar está bien, el personal muy muy amable. Lamentablemente la habitación tenía un terrible y penetrante olor a químicos (olía a gasolina). Solicité una nueva habitación y amablemente la entregan, olía menos pero olía lo que me lleva a pensar en detergentes. Es incomodo realmente el olor. Por su precio no resuelve la necesidad. Aprecio la amabilidad del personal

Room was clean and kept clean. A bit noisy due to student population in the building. But a good price and convenient to public transit.

La limpieza del hotel horrible. Cuando llegamos la habitación estaba con mucho polvo y con una limpieza que dejaba mucho que desear. Hemos estado 6 noches y no han limpiado la habitación ningún día. Se limitaron a hacer la cama. Bajamos a recepción el penúltimo día para informar de la situación y nos aseguraron que iban a limpiarla bien. Cuando volvimos la última noche no habían limpiado nada y ya ni tan siquiera habían hecho la cama. Cuando volvimos a comunicarlo a recepción su respuesta fue un "sorry" y darnos largas. Pésimo hotel tanto en trato y condiciones. Como un hoster a precio de hotel de 4 estrellas. Hemos pagado algunas noches a más de 200€ la noche. Me parece indignante cuando es su página web aseguran limpieza diaria. Una vergüenza. Deberían devolver el importe de la limpieza diaria ya que ha sido inexistente.

Conveniently located near the Prater and close to public transportation, the hotel is a good starting point to explore Vienna. The rooms are very quiet and the central AC can be a live-saver during summer. Cleanliness is generally okay, housekeeping can be a bit erratic.

Cooles Hotel, in dem immer etwas los ist. Aufgrund des Mix von Hotel, Studentenwohnungen und Coworking. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, leider aber auch schon ein klein wenig abgenutzt, Steckdosen haben bei uns im Zimmer nicht alle funktioniert und das Silikon in der Dusche war leider auch Schimmelig.

Room was dirty. Half eaten pot noodle in the safe cupboard, toothpaste up the walls, towel had a stain on it and the previous occupant’s jewellery was found under the bed. Shampoo bottles were also empty and the shower head wouldn’t stay up. Other than those points, we enjoyed the concept of the hotel. Execution was just a bit sloppy.

Das Hotel war absolut unter aller Sau. In sowas Schmutziges musste ich wirklich noch nie schlafen. Der Toilettendeckel ist total abgenutzt und mit Flecken überseht, die nicht mal mehr rausgehen. In der Dusche lagen fremde Haare. Im Bett lagen ebenfalls fremde Haare. Wir haben dem Housekeeping dann sofort Bescheid geben. Die kamen auch ziemlich zügig, haben aber genau so schlecht geputzt wie davor! Die Sitzmöbel in den Lobby räumen haben teilweise so widerliche Flecken drauf, dass man nicht weiß, was für Flüssigkeiten das mal waren. Hinsetzen geht fast nirgends. Mitarbeiterinnen sind kaum zu erreichen - haben uns an manchen Tagen gefragt ob da überhaupt irgendjemand arbeitet. Und das frechste: ich habe mein Schlafkissen dort vergessen (im Zimmer auf dem Bett). Habe direkt nach Check out angerufen und gefragt ob es da ist, bzw ob sie es mir schicken können. Jetzt 1 Woche später wurde anscheinend immer noch kein Kissen gefunden!!! Rückrufe die mir angeboten wurden, wurden nicht eingehalten. Ich nehme an, dass sie das Kissen einfach weggeworfen haben. Das war das schlimmste Hotel in dem ich je geschlafen habe! NIE WIEDER!!!

O quarto, considerando lençóis, não eram muito limpos. As toalhas não secavam de um dia pro outro e tínhamos que solicitar novas todos os dias.

Cool hotel! Had a suite on 2 floors with amazing view over the town from the balcony. Air condition system wasn’t the best, could not get the degrees lower than 25, and it was 28 degrees outside, so a little hard to sleep. But otherwise is was good, could have been a bit cleaner on the bathroom down stairs, and there was only one hook to hang the towel on, should have had a bar type hook so the towel was able to dry faster.

Bed comfort was good, internet access was easy and it was with good speed. Property was easily accessible to local transport

Loved the vibe and the youthful energy, even for a middle aged traveler. Very convenient, walkable to sizeable transit station, solid food options onsite. Only 2 issues were the very hard beds, which discouraged even sitting on the bed. And the shower door opened to the room, which wasn't ideal for travel with a parent and a teenager.

The hotel is located steps away from Praterstern, which was super convenient not only for getting around the city but also to the airport (a better and less busy option than downtown, too!). Even though it's a bit outside of Innere Stadt / the old town, it was still walkable in approx. 20 mins, and reachable in a few minutes by Vienna's metro (again, Praterstern is just down the street). Our room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for our stay. A bit more storage space would have been helpful given the sink took up quite some room and isn't usable for storage. A completely separate bathroom would have been nice, as it's a bit chilly to get out of the shower and then just be in the main room (also, I traveled with my partner - but if you're traveling with a friend and get such a room... hope you're both very comfortable with each other, haha!). No noise issues. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the common spaces were fun.

Fangen wir mit dem guten an: Lage gut - Straßenbahn direkt vor der Tür Prater zu Fuß auch nur ein paar Minuten Das war es allerdings schon. Zimmer sehen zwar modern aus auf den ersten Blick, aber bis auf die Dusche/Badbereich ist alles mehr Schein als Sein. Um das Waschbecken (an der schwarzen Wand) viele weiße Flecken - will gar nicht wissen was das alles war. ABSOLUTER MINUSPUNKT: die KLIMA hatten immer 25-28 Grad im Zimmer - auch in der Nacht. Fenster nur kippbar und auf Nachfrage wurde uns dann mitgeteilt - Klima wird nur eingeschaltet wenn die durchschnittliche Außentemperatur eine gewisse Temperatur erreicht. Es hat ja nur die Sonne so in das Zimmer geknallt das ich fast ohnmächtig wurde - nicht auszuhalten! Service an sich daher auch nicht wirklich freundlich weil es keinen interessiert hat. Daher nie wieder the social hub

Chambre familiale au 8ème stage, petite, salle de bains dans la chambre minuscule. L hôtel est plus pour les jeunes que pour les familles.

Close to u-bahn and s-Bahn, felt very safe, great facilities and room very good. Only issue is air con was ineffective, room never got below 24°c and the bed was incredibly firm, much firmer than I think most people would enjoy

Our room was very dark, no AC that we could get going, and our bed was very hard. We decided to move to the hotel we had just left. Of course we didn’t receive a refund, but we were okay with it. The walls were black, there was no decor, the tv was a computer monitor, the bathroom was mostly black tile and an open room. I didn’t feel the pictures in the listing matched what we walked into.

Even those the entire hotel was brutally hot, because there was an issue switching over the air conditioning… I would absolutely stay at this hotel again! The vibes were immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet. The maintenance team even came by room to room to see what they could do to make us comfortable and to verbally explain to all of us what was going on with the air-conditioning. It was something totally out of their control, but the staff handled it as if they created the problem. Breakfast is a little bit overpriced for the buffet that is there but it was also super easy to find other food. All in all, it was a super cute and fun hotel

Dienstreise, super Service hab ein Zimmer mit Aussicht bekommen, 10 Etage. Mal was anderes, zentral gelegen. Schön eingerichtet, gutes Speisenangebot. Komm gern wieder auch mal privat.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ruhige Lage. Straßenbahn vor der dem Hotel. Saubere Zimmer und gemütliches Bett.

I loved this hotel, it had fantastic amenities, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was walking distance to an underground station that got you into the city centre in a matter of minutes. It was great being in a not so touristy area but having easy access to anywhere in the city. The lobby restaurant was also great with wonderful staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff not much helping for check in and not much have known reservation which is i had two rooms and they denied without check my completely reservation. I proof it my reservation even they have on their system.

The one thing that could have gone A LOT better was that my husband celebrated his bday and I asked if a cake or a piece of cake can be arranged. One woman at the front desk said no worries in the morning. Later in the evening, we got to the hotel and I spoke to the front desk and the man never heard of the request. Again he said not a problem and we will arrange for a piece of cake on the house. In the morning of the breakfast, I went to the front desk and they had no idea what I was talking about and asked if I could go talk to the kitchen. I said no, as I don’t work here. Then the man from the front desk went up and asked that I follow him and then I stood on the side and the chef said loudly will she pay for it. My husband was there and the whole thing got uncomfortable for a freaking piece of cake. Finally, they brought him cake with candles that I bought and told him to blow them out quickly as no fire was allowed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay but this was for sure unpleasant customer experience.

Very clean and tidy room with nice views of the Vienna circle.The staff were very polite, helpful and accommodative. Also the property is close (about 10 minutes) away from Pratersen train station from where you can take the line 1 and 2 for the centre of Vienna and also trains to different destinations in Vienna, The property is also located in a central road, but despite this it wasn\t noisy at all. Also there were several amenities, like gym and waxing machine if someone needed, but I didn't need these facilities.

Slightly out of the main city. Approximately a 20 minute walk to get into the main city. 5 mins walk from the nearest train & underground station. Modern and young vibe with friendly staff. Rooms were clean & spacious.

Good hotel for family of 4, room with bunk beds worked well for us. We didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, unsure what is available. Good vibe to the hotel, kids loved the pool, football table & slide. About 10mins walk to train/tube station, easy to get to from the airport. Funfair around 15 mins walk looked fun but was raining when we where there.

Jättebra hotell! Smidigt att ta sig till och från flygplatsen, nära till centrum. Bra rum, gym och frukost!

Meget livligt hotel. Kan godt forstå de unge godt kan lide det. Det er ret “Socialt” Sød personale. Kan virke overvældende når man ankommer med en lille baby men værelserne er store og der r stille oppe på etagerne. Deres indcheckning system virker også ret fint. Meget nemt :). Området er ret centralt. Der kører sporvogne lige udenfor hotellet som transportere dig hurtigt og nemt indtil centrum. Stedet kan varmt anbefales :)

Near to prater & stadium

Frühstücksbüffet war ausgezeichnet! Es gab alles, für jeden Geschmack üppige Auswahl. Das Frühstück hat vielen, das nicht so toll war, wieder ausgeglichen

The location is a few minutes to the Praterstern train station. The hotel has plenty to do as well as a restaurant where the food was good but a little over priced but expected for a hotel. This did feel more like a hostel or a shared apartment complex rather than a hotel. I really enjoyed it and look forward to staying a other Social Hub locations.

Odalarda buzdolabı olmaması hayal kırıklığı yarattı.Halbuki odada buzdolabı koyabilmek için yeterli alan var.october fest nedeniyle çok fazla checkin yapılıyordu, eşimin rahatsızlığını ve aşırı yorgun olduğumuzu belirtmemize rağmen, kalabalığı bahane göstererek, odanın temizliğinin bitmediğini söyleyerek, bizi checkin için 2 saat beklettiler.gençler için aktiviteler çoktu, daha çok gençler tercih edebilir.

This is my second time staying at the social hub. Positives: 1) excellent location in district 2 near public transportation and the prater 2) outstanding breakfast 3) excellent friendly service 4) laundry and gym on site. It reminds me of a youth hostel that caters to younger people and offers organized opportunities for socializing. Downside: 1) room decor is dark and black 2) it’s clean enough but not immaculate. It’s a great option for the cost.

Very welcoming, food excellent at breakfast varied selection. We tried the restaurant in the evening aswell again good choice and food very good. They had bar football, table tennis and pool along side gaming in the hotel too. Staff on hand 24/7. We had a family room clean and comfortable could not fault anything from our stay. Only 10 min walk to station.

A beautiful hotel, modern, incredibly modern furnishings, I'm happy to have discovered this hotel, lots of common spaces, the breakfast buffet was excellent, in short nothing was missing, everything was beautiful

Das Hotel macht von außen einen super Eindruck. In der Lobby und dem Restaurant ist ebenfalls überwiegend alles top. Allerdings hatten wir ein Familinzimmer. Das positive war es war groß. Allerdings war es nicht sehr sauber und die Betten waren schmal und kurz. Wir hatten nur Doppelstockbetten und bei einer Körpergröße ab 1,75 waren sie echt zu klein. Wir fanden das Frühstück excellent. Jedoch sehr teuer. Mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern haben wir 175€ für 2 Tage bezahlt.
