Lady who works there is really rude

Do not stay here it is scary. Cigarette burns and hair in the sheets, very beat up room which smelled terrible! Shady folks live here look elsewhere.

The guy at the desk was friendly and kind. The room was pretty good, with mini fridge and microwave, great thing to have. The whole property is gated including parking, accessed with your room key so the feeling of safety is superb. Good shower. The biggest issue was the room smell, which I didn’t expect from a non smoking room. However the room didn’t smell like smoke, but it did not good, almost to the point of me wanting to ask to switch rooms. The second issue was the carpet, which felt dirty and had numerous large obvious stains. The manager who escorted me to the room after check in said that the stains were only there because they couldn’t get them out, implying that the carpet was clean but the stains were too tough to remove. I would argue that the stains probably were possible to get out with a lot of elbow grease. Either way if I were management I would replace them rugs entirely. The neither bad nor good was that I booked two nights but I happened to need to leave early. So I went down right at checkout to see if I could get a refund for the second night, which I thought would be okay since I was getting out in time as if I paid for one night, at checkout time. However the manager after looking me up said that it was not refundable because I booked my 2 nights online and he wasn’t able to charge me just for the one night I was there and I couldn’t get a refund. I didn't even get to check in or stay the night. So it was a waste of 100 dollars thanka to hotels.com
