Lots of construction next to JW which is pretty ugly. For the price we paid, I expected more beach front which is very skimpy! To charge $35 per day for amenities is showing lots of greed on the part of management. Most hotels include amenities with price of room. Restaurant food was good but very pricey. The building is lovely and nicely decorated. Staff is wonderful. For obvious reasons, we will search elsewhere for reasonable accommodations.

JW Marriott is a beautiful hotel. Very upscale and clean. Everyone is super nice and attentive. Rooms beautiful and clean and the cleaning ladies were accommodating. Beach area a little small felt like we were on top of each other but we stayed there Memorial Day Weekend. Pool area is descent, roof top with a restaurant bar area and staff were attentive as well. Cons: music was mediocre, wanted something a bit more lively, valet parking only which was expensive. Drinks were not great, we went to the Shepard's Hotel next store to have drinks. Overall it was a nice experience staying at the JW Marriott but would properly not stay there again due to being expensive and we felt it wasn't worth the money.

Amazing service with private beach. Pool on the 11th floor offered amazing views and drinks. We were able to see dolphins daily just from our balcony. Separate kids club for ages 5-12 which was small but nice. Would highly recommend and would return.

The rooms were nice and cozy. The view from the hotel were beautiful. The roof top pool and bar were very relaxing while overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset. Only thing I did not like about the property was the parking. There is no self parking and valet is $40 a day leaving you no choice. I feel if you pay that much for a room give me an option and not make me feel like I have no choice. All in all I would recommend this location. It is on the beach and steps away from the ocean.

We stayed at 5 different hotels during our family vacation. Our stay at the Marriott was the shortest, but it was the best! We only stayed there for two days, so we didn’t really have any expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We booked a 1-Bedroom Residential Suite and it was nice and spacious for our family! There was a king bed, a pull-out Queen sofabed (too firm), large dining table, two refrigerators, microwave, and even a washer and dryer! They had complimentary supplies like hand soap and laundry detergent (under the sink). Lauren at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating, as we were there celebrating our daughter’s Birthday. There is a Spa and a Kids’ Club. There’s also a small pool and a private beach for guests to enjoy. We loved the private beach and beachside service! Gage and the attendants at the beach were so nice and friendly! They had complimentary waters, sunscreen, floats, toys, towels, and umbrella and chairs to use at the beach! We enjoyed the food and great service at the beachside grill, Latitude, and The Deep End! The staff at this resort is what sets them apart from other resorts that we stayed at on Clearwater Beach! We have stayed at almost all the high-end resorts on the beach! We loved our stay so much that we plan to come back and stay longer next time! Thanks again for making our family vacation so fun and memorable!

The resort had great service on the private beach and wonderful food. Most of the staff were very helpful and accommodating, however, this location is new and there were 2 staff members who clearly needed more training. The pool was heated and had wonderful views of the water. I highly recommend taking advantage of the free bikes and traveling over the bridge to Sand Key Park. Our room was clean and well appointed. However, we had a view of a large parking lot/construction staging area which was not ideal. The hotel is located in a very walkable area but it’s toward a calmer, less crowded part of the main strip, which we enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning in the future.

$21 spicy margarita is pretty insane. Paying $15 for WiFi a day is pretty insane as well. We always stay at the Hyatt Regency and finished our trip checking out this new hotel. This hotel is beautiful. Lots of huge rocks in the water, over priced drinks, and charging for WiFi so we won't be coming back. Felt like I wa being ripped off buying a $21 drink and having to pay for WiFi.

Fortunately i reviewed my automatic charge bill before leaving the hotel. I found a $21 charge for the coffee shop that i did not recognise. I called down to question the charge and was informed the hotel would investigate and get back to me before i left. This never happened so i called again 30 minutes later as i needed to check out of the room.i was informed that the charge was not mine and they would adjust my bill on a revised email. No further explanation and no apology from the Marriott. Wont trust them again and learned my lesson about always look at your bill charges carefully.

The property includes a private beach which is wonderful! The guys by the beach were so attentive and friendly! Kuddos to them for bearing with the heat and offering great service with a smile. My suggestion is to include a fan in their area so they can at least get some cool air. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. The DJ by the pool was a great touch!

Stayed for 4 days solo for a relaxing long weekend. Very friendly staff at JW with a small private beach for hotel guests. Best part is 2 lounge chairs and 1 umbrella is being reserved per room at beach and at rooftop pool where staff will set up for you once you check in. Quiet rooms with balconies and amazing bed and illy coffee provided. Food is amazing at beach grille (i tried shrimp and mahi mahi tacos, grouper bites) and dinner twice at Latitude (fresh oysters, grilled octopus, pan seared grouper, smoked burrata, and very fluffy bread with light-up butter…) also must have the croissants at JW market cafe and chocolate hazelnut tart. Spa serviced also amazing, tried the massage twice and also body scrub. Sauna and steam room and rain forest shower were a must try. I like the quiet area and being off just 5-8mins walk to main Clearwater beach with many restaurants and local eats.
